They sent someone the next morning for an assessment and got us scheduled right away! In the interim, they gave us recommendations to deter the rats, which worked. Carlos and his crew arrived on time and finished quickly. The price was reasonable (honestly, on the cheaper side yet the quality and professionalism was great!). There was an issue with a short circuit because a rat chewed through the insulation that we didn't notice until the weekend, but Carlos responded immediately and came over to fix the issue. We are so grateful to Carlos and the Attic Crew for helping us with rats in the home, helping us feel more confident about keeping them out for the foreseeable years, and for all of their professionalism, knowledge, and expertise! Would definitely recommend!

The communication was excellent, even on a holiday weekend I got called back within an hour of reaching out with questions, which I certainly did not expect! They arrived promptly for appointments and were thoughtful about avoiding tracking dirt into our home. They worked with us to customize their work to our coastal climate and were very transparent about exactly what materials they would be using (all top of the line, industral-grade!). I have pets and toddlers and they took my concerns about chemical disinfects seriously and offered several options to make sure I was comfortable with what was used in our home. They really seem to take pride in their work and enjoyed sharing before and after pictures to demonstrate all the improvements they made to our crawl space. I could not be happier with my choice to hire them, and plan to work with them again when I'm ready to replace my attic insulation.

They even got up on the roof to seal a hole from the outside, which was not in what we originally scoped, at no extra charge. We purchased our home many years ago and didn't realize how much of a mess the attic truly was until Universal Insulation completed an assessment in preparation for a possible heat pump installation next year. We're so grateful to have found a company we could trust to do things the right way. During my correspondence with Marko, Marko arranged for an assessment to be conducted by Nicholas. From the initial assessment, Nicholas was incredibly patient in addressing all our concerns and questions -- especially since we are very "hands on" homeowners. Once the contract was signed, Ann promptly scheduled us for the next available appointment and provided clear, detailed instructions on how to prepare before their arrival. The meticulous process began with removing the old insulation and debris, vacuuming the attic floor, and sanitizing the space. The next step was ensuring the attic was structurally sound and ready for new insulation. Because of the care and attention to detail that Marko, Miguel, and Nicholas put into every part of the job, we ended up with a dry, well insulated, properly ventilated, and easily accessible attic. If you're looking for an excellent insulation company, I highly recommend the team at Universal Insulation, Inc. -- they are truly competent professionals who take pride in doing things the right way.

My house used to have cold spots and heater would kick on every 20 minutes. Now there are no cold spots and the house stays warmer a lot longer and again much quieter from external noise. I would highly recommend his services.

I usually like to give…read morecompanies the benefit of the doubt and give them opportunities to make it right, but my experience with Attic Masters and Adam have been nothing but endless frustration. First, they didn't show up to our scheduled appointment on Nov 29, at 8AM even after I received 2 confirmation emails, and text reminders about the appointment (attached below are photos of the confirmations). I specifically chose this company over Attic Bros because I was told that they work on the weekends and complete jobs on weekends. In hindsight, I wish I would have just gone with Attic Bros from the start. Two guys came at 2:30pm instead on Saturday after I had called them at 10:30am about how no one showed up. The 2 guys only put up 2 films of radiant barrier and left at 5pm. On Sunday morning, the remaining workers showed up and "finished" at 2:30pm, however they didn't rodent proof my crawl space until I had pointed out the holes to them. They did it after I had pointed out the holes. Additionally, they never rodent proofed my the attic side vents. They rodent proofed the roof, sure, but I would have thought the side vents would be included (they didn't have a ladder to reach it so they didn't do it). I had to hire a third party to fix the holes/gaps on the side vents instead because Adam and his company didn't want to come back to fix it. I was told they'd call me back when they can schedule me in, but after a week I gave up and just hired another company. Also, they damaged one of my kitchen lights when they were doing work in the attic. Adam also said he would send someone to fix it and that it's "easy" but nothing ever came of it. The 3 stars I gave them is because the insulation looks decent and that they still came on Sunday to follow through on the project, but if they could lie to me about "fixing the side vents from the inside" who knows what else they may have lied about. I am concerned about this company's integrity. Also- Adam is rude and defensive on the phone, and doesn't really let his customers speak.

We called Attic Pros…read morewho did a cursory "inspection" and recommended complete replacement of attic insulation, replacement of most A/C duct work in the crawl space below the house, sanitizing, and sealing up "all" entry points for critters. It was very expensive but we went with them mainly because the "inspector" (a salesman through and through) had excellent English and promised to personally manage the project. He answered one subsequent question and then disappeared, never to be heard from again. The estimated 3-day job took 3 weeks, with schedules shifting daily, different crews, minimal work days, redundant and often incorrect communication via text and email, and no explanations of what was going on. The crews were friendly but spoke minimal English. It was difficult to understand what was done, not yet done, or not intended to be done. Once they left, the critters remained. Staff came back 3 or 4 times to seal additional openings ... to the wrong area (crawl space rather than attic). The most recent visit by Jorge was very good. He had good English so his explanations were understandable and helpful. He found and fixed two more openings - these at roof level - and recommended a spray that can repel rodents from returning. I bought and used that (why don't they do that themselves?) and the first night at least was the first "quiet" night in months.
