This company is no longer in business and my roof started leaking almost 4 years to the day after the labor warranty was up. I have zero recourse and clearly a four year-old roof should not leak. read more

Called and asked for an estimate. A man came over that day and spoke to my husband. He said he would call back in a day or two. I called three days later and the phone number was no longer in working order. If you don't want to do my house give me the courtesy of saying no. You wasted three days of my precious time. I hired Roofs Roofing one year ago. As of today my job has still not been completed and has failed inspection. I have paid in full and now, I can't even get them to respond to my emails or return my phone calls. Based on my neighbors who have had new roofs replaced with comparable product I paid more than my neighbors paid. I was ok with that but their jobs are completed and inspection approved. I would never recommend this company. Very poor communication and follow through. And never pay in full before inspection is approved. read more

Inspection wasn't worth the fee. I'd called Roof Roofing to have an inspection done of my roof. I was told the person doing the inspection would give me a call to set up a time. A week later that hadn't happened, so I was planning to call to find out what was up, but coincidentally that day I got an email with the inspection report. The inspection report, however, consisted of one photograph and three sentences that essentially said "the roof is old and should be replaced." This didn't tell me anything more than I already knew. Overall, didn't seem worth my having spent $175 for this service. read more

Do not hire this company to do your roofing - Here are why 1. They never picked up the phone. you leave a message and they would then call you back. This is a red flag - they may have issues that they are afraid to pick up the phone 2. I received a registered letter indicating that Roof Roofing HAD NOT paid the materials they used for my house. 3. Poor customer service - No communication on when the work would start, how long it would take and finish. This is another red flag - warning signal. 4 Poor quality work - One man roof installer. Yes, only 1 person doing the whole roof. The tips of the nails were visible all over the place. They used long nails. Took some of the nails out and promised to patch the hole. NEVER HAPPEN 5. Watch for the existing vents..... they will take them away. If you want to install a new one, they will ask for $500 to install one. This is how they make extra money. Be careful. 6 Whatever you do, DO NOT PAY in FULL until you receive the city permit. You will never hear from them again if you pay them in full. We wonder if they have a valid license and insurance. I regret hiring them. Learn from my mistakes - DO NOT HIRE this company to do your roof. read more

Called for an estimate on a roof certificate. Never got an estimate, just got a bill for a roof certificate. When I got the bill, I sent an email with supporting documentation, regarding my belief that I was just asking for an estimate. Not wanting to believe that they could be wrong, they wrote a nasty YELP review on me! Avoid this company. We had a fantastic experience with Roof Roofing. They gave us the best quote out of all the other contacts we had, without compromising on quality. We're really happy with the job they did on the gutters, making sure there was a path for any water coming down from the roof to keep away from the house. We had great communications with the crew, they kept us in the loop every step of the way. They informed us of any changes that had to be made during the project, such as wood rot discovered after the old roof was removed, and made sure the work was done timely. They had a variety of roof colors to choose from to make sure you picked a color you like. They were professional and courteous, as well as diligent in cleaning up the debris and materials during the course of the project. If you're in the market for a new roof, or even just repairs, give this team a call for a quote. read more

Thanks to Steve at Roof Roofing he was prompt, careful, polite and diligent in repairing my wood shingle roof. I had a gutter problem and they came out immediately to clear it during high storms the day after I called. Within 20 minutes all problems were resolved. I would recommend them again. read more

Hi I contacted this company to get a quote for an add on rolled roof quote. After initial contact I received messages saying someone was coming. They didn't show. Rescheduled no show. It was left that someone would contact me back to schedule an appointment this week. I provided availability for the 2 days they suggested and no one contacted me back. I've decided to move on to another company. read more

I own a property management company and have used Roof Roofing for the last 12 years. I can safely say we've given them 30+ roof jobs over the years. I would like to comment on Daniel S's review so that the reader has a complete picture. 1st) The home Mr. S lives in has a flat top roof, which can be more challenging than the typical composition or shake. 2nd) The first few times Roof Roofing returned to the home the wife did not know where it was leaking in the house therefore she could not show the workmen where the problem areas were. 3rd) Mr. S is renter. He has no contract with Roof Roofing. And, he is the first tenant we've ever had (after all these years) to report a leak after the job was done. Very few times over the years have we had a glitch with a project. But any time there was, Roof Roofing was quick to make it right. read more

We had broken tiles on our roof and contact Roof Roofing. They quickly responded and had guys to help us to do the inspection. The process was smooth and the price was very affordable. Would recommend them! read more

Luckily we had our roof done way before the rain started. We weren't among those who experienced leaks before realizing they needed a new roof. We chose a color we thought would look good with the color of the house. The main roofer guy suggested a different color. We were skeptical but figured he knows best based on their experience. Everything went smooth from the tear off of the old roof to the placing of the new roof and they even added sky lights. What a big difference with the natural lighting coming in. The color of the roof was perfect so we are glad we followed his suggestion. We are very pleased with the outcome and despite all the rain we have not had any leaks or problems. We have highly recommended them to family and friends with roofing needs. Unfortunately they are so busy some friends have had to wait. That's how good they are I guess. Don't wait for leaks to fix it be proactive. Thanks roof roofing read more

Best price out of 6 other quotes. Communication was spotty, but they did a good job with the work.

Excellent service and quality product! Had 50 feet of gutters replaced on the entire front of our house. Fast, clean work and reasonably priced. Hank was honest with time lines and Desiree kept us up to date. She was the best at communicating, followed up and called with time lines, made sure we were completely happy with their work, which is not common these days, even after we paid the bill. read more

Roof Roofing did a great job, completing the project on time and on budget. When the weather forecast unexpectedly changed to predict heavy rain in the middle of the project, I was worried. But they worked all weekend in advance of the storm to make sure it would be water-tight, and then even checked on us in the middle of the storm. I appreciated the care they put into every detail. read more

We had Hank and his team replace our roof. He was recommended to us by our neighbor and did a great job. I chatted with him a bit and offered to allow them to post an advertisement for a small fee reduction, but he gave me the fee reduction anyway - which then helped cover the cost of adding two SolarTubes in our house. We scheduled and they generally were there the time I expected. It all went quick and smoothly and when i noticed some of the rafters were in bad shape, I asked them if they could replace them when they were up there and they did. Their site manager guy said if I could go buy the rafters he'd just go and put it in. That's exactly what I did and he didn't even charge me for the labor (he was fast!). I'm breathing a sigh of relief now that we have had all this rain - not a single issue or leak. The only hiccup we had was that the house failed inspection because some of the wood trim we replaced needed to be painted, so I had to jump up and do that and then reschedule. It all worked out. read more

The team did a great job from start to finish. I had an estimate within 24 hours despite being out of town and not ready for months. Desiree in the office touched base with me monthly to find out when I would be ready. When I was, I was scheduled in a few days. The guys were great--worked hard, were friendly and cleaned up after themselves as well as other trash left behind by others. I also had a sun tube installed! What a difference it makes! Some two years ago I paid Roof Roofing to do work on my garage, to redo the roofing on the garage and then I also hired them to do work inside of the garage--replace the plastic corrugated green windows with clear windows, put lumber over gaps, fill in gaps with plastic foaming. Roof roofing left heavy rolls of extra roofing in a side shed, they left extra lumber and things in the garage, they only replaced one of the two windows with clear corrugated plastic, they did not cover some small areas with lumber and they did not cover gaps with plastic foaming. I keep calling them and calling them to come and finish up the job I paid them for some two years ago Update--they have finally come to finish up the job. apparently they are very busy and it is hard for them to find time to come and finish up a job that they were paid for some 2 years ago. It didn't take them too long to finish up the job. They removed some of the metal and wood materials they had removed when they did the roof some two years ago--they had just put this behind the garage rather than removing it at the time. read more

Awful experience. We were experiencing leaks - they cleaned the room and sprayed a sealent over the roof. Nice guys, worked promptly, cleaned up their mess - all seemed good. Until the rains. As soon as the rains began we started to have more leaks. They came back multiple times - and we still have water leaking in the kitchen, in bedrooms - it is worse them before they came. Great experience with Roof Roofing. We have a small repair needed for our roof. We also need a gutter cleaning. I contacted multiple roofers but they were not able to come quickly. The best I could get was 2 months later until I contacted Roof Roofing. Hank's team was very professional and efficient. They even took the inspection report that was done by the previous home owner. Their price was reasonable and the work was well done. I only waited less than 2 weeks before the job was scheduled and complete. I will definitely use them again in the future. read more

I own a retail building in Los Gatos. Hank is the best. My roof has been leaking for the last four years. I've had several people in to "fix" the leaks and many thousands of dollars later, I got ahold of Hank. He completely re-coated the existing roof and it was so much less expensive than the other bids I got from people who promised to do the exact same work. He guarantees the job for years,. The best part of this is that he means it. He'll come out and take care of anything. He's an honest and hardworking guy with a great personality and an even greater work ethic. He is there when he says he will be. I've paid for so much shoddy work from people who talk a great story but don't deliver. Hank is the real deal. No kidding: If you have to fix or replace your roof, he is the best guy, period. He'll get it done cheaper and quicker and better. This is an unsolicited rave review. I wish every company that's in the construction maintenance and repair industry was as good as Roof Roofing. read more

This is the second home they have roofed. The first one is still going strong after 20 years. I called them to put a roof on our current home. Hank said 2 weeks they would be able to do it and gave me a reasonable bid. Sure enough to the day, they were out there working on my roof. They completed in 3 days, and charged me $2000 less as they did not need to replace some items they thought they would have. I am again very impressed with the quality and affordability of these guys! Thank you! read more
