However, they have a wood fired pizza oven, unlimited garlic knots, and delicious pastas. I didn't even notice the wood oven at first because the ventilation inside the dining area is so good. All the pizzas are 12", cut into 8 slices for around $20 for speciality. Cheese only is $14. Quality toppings and great chew on the pizza. The thick, puffy crust edge is not really for me, so maybe next time I'll ask them to put the toppings closer to the edge. Will also try the calzone, which is much larger for a better price. The unlimited garlic knots with delicious marinara dipping sauce is such a nice touch to pair with their amazingly saucy pastas. It would be so nice if they could cook more dishes and even their knots in the wood fire oven because it seems underutilized just to use it solely for pizza only. The pasta portions are large and saucy, but all are over $20, which is high. So you will see many customers sharing a pizza with a pasta. They have really cozy outdoor covered patio seating, as well as a very open dining room. You could really hear everyone else's conversations here, so I wouldn't recommend for a date or anything more private. People in my party couldn't hear eachother well at all, so we basically had to scream over the opera music inside. Service here is warm and friendly, and I didn't even have to ask for refills.

I was really looking forward to trying the oysters, but I didn't realize their menu changes often so unfortunately, no oysters this time. A little sad about that! The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The Wagyu, on the other hand, was a big disappointment. For the price, it was tough and chewy when it should've been buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender. I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol

We went to eat here last Thursday for dinner and it was an extreme mess. First, the host took us to a table and right before we sat down, she claimed it was the wrong table and took us to another table. We understand, stuff happens. We order our drinks and they brought out the bread. The bread was so hard I literally hit it on the table, was a nice laugh for the people I was with. The entrees tasted like they came from the freezer and tasted very watered down. We asked to speak to a manager. The manager walked over, phone on hip. As we tried to explain the situation the phone rang, and answered it right at the table. Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

The pizza was baked to perfection, the crust was light with a balanced chew and crunch. The pies had a delicious sauce with adequate seasoning that wasn't too sweet or too acidic, and the toppings were plentiful. Service was very friendly and incredibly quick! When I ordered the food to go I also ordered a nice craft beer from their tapper and checked out the outside seating area. The weather was really nice and there people enjoying the outside air. This place is located near other restaurants that also have outside seating and one of them had some live music going as it was Saturday. Great vibes. Highly recommend!!!
