I ignored the run down condition of the building thinking it was just old. Inside wasn't much better but, I was in there so I ordered to go. I sat down on the bench while it was being prepared. There was a case with canollis across from me. I was looking in the case when I noticed the dead bug and mouse droppings. What in the actual hell? If that's in the display, I can't imagine what the kitchen is like.

A friend recommended this location knowing my pizza standards and how much I love "mom & pop" joints. You can see this is a family loved business the moment you step in the door. The smells of tomato sauce, garlic, herbs, and spices are your first introduction and then you see the display case of a variety of cannoli shells. I was there for dessert and appreciate that they don't serve a pre-filled version r the cannoli. They dust it lightly with powdered sugar. NICE. I will come back to try their pizza.

Do not trust the reviews on TravelAdvisor. That was what I read before I went to this place. And wish I had read the reviews here: Here is what I experienced: I am not sure what to say. Was expecting a great pizza. It was very, VERY average, but I ate it. The sauce was meager and non eventful, the toppings were mushy and not really a lot, the crust was hot but bland, and a bit on the too crusty side. Little Ceaser's pizza has more flavor and that is an insult. I am not sure how an Italian could call this pizza. It was weird. This is an older building, some character but mostly dilapidated, old, badly in need of repair. This would not really mean anything if the general atmosphere had been welcoming and inviting. We did not feel that. We kind of felt like we were a bit of an annoyance. It was obvious that this place gets business, lots of pizza orders, so I am not sure if we were just singled out to get the worst pizza I have had in ages. We were also waited on brusquely, we waited a very long time to get our food, we were given one napkin each, we were never asked about our drinks and we had to ask for a check and bag when we left. I give the end pizza crusts to the squirrels at home. So what? They enjoy it. I was looked at weird when I said that and the guy said, "OH, OK!?" Like I had insulted him . Not an insult. It was my husband's birthday. Very dissapointing. and It would not have been that way, really if there had been some amount of friendliness to us when we were there. I did not feel it that much. Perhaps a bad day for them, or too much business. There was a man who seemed a bit weary cooking. I dunno. We will not return. I would not even go near them in the future. I think we were also overcharged, in fact pretty sure we were by a few dollars. But my husband still tipped the jerk who waited on us. read more

A friend recommended this location knowing my pizza standards and how much I love "mom & pop" joints. You can see this is a family loved business the moment you step in the door. We got our pizza delivered. The pizza arrived earlier than estimated. We were staying 10-15 min away from the shop and it arrived within 30 min when they said it'll be 45 min. Pizza was delicious. Nice crust. Toppings were evenly distributed. The Greek salad was tasty. What a good mom and pop establishment around the Buford area. read more

Someone told us about this place and said the salads were huge and the dressings were great. We got the Greek salad (one will feed 2-3) and a 10" pepperoni pizza. The crust is more of a thin crust with good crunch. Pretty much everything here is scratch made. If you are a food snob, this is not your place. But if you like a small family run restaurant that serves good food, you will really like this place. read more

i've never been displeased w this place. i've gotten pizza's and stromboli's, and the occasional salad for 25yrs i think. its just a mom & pop type place, so like others said, food snobs may not like it. but i do. their flavors are fine by me. i did just last weekend give my turkey hunting friend his 1st stromboli. it was a hit! so just keep doing what you're doing. running a biz ain't ez. read more

I've been a fan of Pizza di Falco for 20 years. The marinara that comes with the rolls, strombolis, garlic knots is authentic and delicious. We have always been fans of the pepperoni rolls as the cheese oozes out of the crust slightly and the crust is flaky. The chicken wings are seriously great. I always add a salad to our order. It's the perfect size for a family of four and always fresh. We will eat at Pizza di Falco until the end of time. read more

We moved into the area recently and found this small pizza place and gave it a try. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of their products. I was born and raised in New York City so I think I'm a good judge of NY style pizza. Pizza was incredible with the perfect crust and a great sauce. We've tried their salads and sandwiches as well and everything was perfect. If you're looking for a small family owned pizza place, you should definitely give them a try. read more

We ordered 2 pizzas and we couldn't even finish our first slice. Something in the crust or the sauce is very sour. I called to talk to the Mgr about this. Never asked or expected in anything in return. But he cut me off in mid sentence. Told me he just made the sauce. When I tried to talk to again about the sourness. He hung up on me! We have been ordering from di folco for over 2 yrs. I was okay to go back, but not anymore! I won't tolerate anyone to be rude to me, especially when I'm trying to help. There are plenty of pizza places around here that taste better than here. read more

I've never put salt in a pizza until last night. The dough was absolutely flavorless. The Greek salad was just a ton of iceberg lettuce,feta, olive and tomato cut super chunky. Not much thought to it. The cheesecake was decent but clearly store bought. The delivery was fast. Wouldn't be my first choice next time I'm up at lake Lanier. read more

Im a brand new customer who called to order a pizza, my neighbors stated it was great pizza. I call and placed the order, ask if they deliver to my area. The idiot hung up on me because I didnt understand their delivery minimums. As I was about to state I would come and get the pizza the idiot hung up on me. There was no disagreement, no negative conversation no nothing but an apparent lack of customer give a shit on their end. I called back and they picked up and hung up. Now that's a business I want to go to...NOT! Let me make sure and tell my 25 neighbors about your customer experience! Yep! read more

I have been to this pizza parlor I.E Italian food several times purchasing pizzas that I thought were off the chart. My experience last night was one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered in my life at any public establishment. The owner clearly was having a real bad day. It was just he and I as I waited for my pizza. My pizza was not what I ordered I ordered the extra large with six toppings. It was horrible only two of the toppings that I asked for were on the pizza one that I cannot digest was added as something I had ordered. It had hardly any tomato paste or cheese and I ordered extra cheese. The ingredients tasted old except for the onion which was thrown on there and great haste as the main item which it never should be. I know people have bad days but the pizza was horrible. Clearly the person making the pizza even tried to charge me twice but was crazy with personal issues. I would never Grace the door of this place again in my life. Because everything I'd say seemed antagonizing. Go only at your own risk! read more

Tried this place a few weeks ago. Pizza was meh, crust and pizza had no flavor and is definitely overpriced. Owners (man and woman) were rude and extremely unfriendly. They appeared to be very unhappy people as if they hated their life and their customers. Cannoli was subpar and he seemed inconvenienced by having to make one, then flopped it up on the counter. She was annoyed by having to ring me up and take my money. Worst $35 ever spent on a meal. I will never eat here again! I cannot even believe they are still in business. Inside was old and smelly. I worked here after high school as a pizza delivery guy. I was the only one not in the family. Huge perk of working there is that they always fed me. This is real, made-from-scratch Italian. Everything is made in-house. Nothing store bought. I haven't been in the area in a while, but if I ever am and craving some Italian food, I can assure you I will be stopping there. The pizzas great, but my favorites are the strombolis and calzones. Get the garlic knots as an appetizer... you won't be disappointed. read more

The gentleman is welcoming and recommends options that always turn out delicious, not sure the bad reviews on here are from the same place, because I've NEVER had an issue. Ordered some takeout late tonight for my wife and daughter. Friendly staff that consisted of a couple of generations of family. They used a disinfectant wipe to handle & wipe down my credit card before handing it back. Glad to help out a local business that is trying to keep their business open & keep their customers safe. read more

Don't ever order pizza from here. An Asshole picked up the phone and before I can ask "hey I saw a special on you website" he hung up. I called back to find out did he really hang up and I was told me "we don't do any specials and that conversation was over". Then he called me back by using caller ID and I picked up and he hung up just to be spiteful. He was a total DICK. read more

One male employee was on the phone taking an order, and the female employee working this evening came up, clearly saw us waiting, and completely ignored us. Instead of asking if we had already been helped, she proceeded to take the order of the customer who had just walked up behind us. It was very frustrating and discourteous. We were actually about to walk out because of how we were treated, but fortunately the other employee finished his phone order and was able to help us. If you want customers to continue coming back, this employee could benefit from additional training in customer service and basic courtesy. A simple acknowledgment and asking whether we had already been helped would have made all the difference.

pizza may or may not taste good not sure as i was trying to order person on phone sounded in a hurry he said hes very busy and don't have time to wait so i told him forget it he yelled FUCK YOU THEN BICTH so i decided to call back and speak to the owner the young lady that answered said that was the owner that yelled at you and hung up i work in the customer service industry and treating my customers with respect, respect is my number one priority there are plenty of other pizzeria that are good in the Buford area its his lost not mine i will just not refer hos restaurant. if the owner has that attitude i could imagine his employees everyone has there own opinion so you might want to try for your self i probably was the unlucky one that spoke to him on his bad day read more

Waited over two hours for the delivery. The manager had attitude when we called. The garlic knots had no garlic or oil on them. They were hard as rocks. The stromboli was bland with barely any cheese and the marinara tasted like something you get off brand from the grocery store. Needless to say I will never be eating there again.
