Our first time here, we were a little disappointed. We ordered popcorn + a tres leches cake. We got our popcorn within a few min. Time goes by, and we see someone bring a tres leches cake to the couple next to us. The server left, and the couple looked at each other and back toward the server (which had already walked away) and then started eating the cake. I'm pretty sure that was our cake because we never got ours. I decided not to say anything because the movie was about to be over and didn't want to rush eating my cake. When the server brought us the check, I told my bf to check if they had charged the cake. They actually had charged it! I called the server over and told him what happened, and they removed it. Overall, that's been my only bad experience. Even though that happened, we gave IPIC another chance, and it has become our go-to movie theater. I like how it's clean (including the restrooms), the service is always on point, and their seats are super comfy. They have cute decor and sets to take pictures. I've had their popcorn (good), Mozzarella Sticks (crunchy/good), wings (buffalo + ranch/good), cookies and ice cream (good/not too sweet), and tres leches cake (not sweet and it'd actually good). I've also had their Pear and Prosciutto Pizza (it's decent), but it does the job, and I would probably order it again. *pictures coming soon* One thing to be aware of....they do validate parking but not the one on De Lacey (across the street from them). What a wonderful experience! This is definitely my first of many times that I will be visiting this location. Especially if I'm trying to splurge on a movie experience. The movie tickets themselves are not bad at all and are really not expensive compared to regular AMC or other types of theaters, but with that being said, you're going to spend more here if you're trying to make the most of your visit. They have a great lounge, which is very clean and looks extremely inviting. They have a great bar area where you can grab drinks and walk around or go play pool while you wait for your movie time to approach. The front desk person, and all of the bartenders that I came across were extremely friendly and nice. They offer a great membership here for yearly visitors. I personally don't have the membership, but I'm definitely looking into it since I had such a great first time here. Their seats do recline by the way, and you are able to order snacks, food, and drinks all throughout the movie with the click of a button. I'm going to get so much hate for this. But I absolutely hate going to the movies. I'm a child. I have a short attention span. I fidget a lot. I always feel so cramped sitting and forcing myself to watch an entire movie. Ipic use to be such a great place to catch a movie. The good , bad / ugly Good. - cant deny the vibes of this place. It is a very cool atmosphere with a bar and a pool table. The theaters are small which makes for great viewing. Bad - service ninjas are not the quickest. Looks like a slowdown in staffing so things take longer . longer to respond to the button press when in the past the ninja was right there. The food. Garbage. Order nachos COLD. I mean fridge cold. Sent it back.. Ordered a BOSS burger. Luke warm fries and burger. I think the food is being prepped and is stirring due to slower ninjas that i would bet are servicing multiple theaters. Popcorn seemed not stale but not fresh. The last straw was the trash carmel popcorn. It use to be a real carmel popcorn now it seems like a dust over the regular popcorn. Watching a film at IPIC in Pasadena is a movie-watching experience to the next level! Great comfy chairs, great service by the servers and the food is decent bar-food quality. The size of the screens are decent as well, but don't expect screen size like IMAX. When you find your seat, you'll find a blanket, and a server will quickly take your order. Be sure to get there at least 25 min. to comfortably find your way in and review the menu so they are not disrupting your movie. If you're going for the experience and not care much for screen size and technically that brings IMAX, then watching films at IPIC is enough. I'm a fan of the highest quality of sound and image so I tend to go with AMC/ IMAX films but IPIC provides another different level of experience. read more

I Have not been to iPic in years! I came to see "Leave The World Behind," and I had a really great time and adored the beautiful ambiance. This dine-in lounge theatre was epic. They have a very nice lounging area to sit and wait on your show, nice bar, and pool table on the second level. This is perfect for a date night or coming with a close friend. Since the capacity holds 10-12 seats, it's very intimate and does not hold a lot of persons. The food we ordered was good and fresh! The popcorn, pretzel bites, and glass of moscato I had was very delicious. I'm not a popcorn fan, but it was very good. The service was really good and very prompt when you push button for assistance. They were very welcoming as you entered and left. I love the theater layout and how they give you blankets! It's a very good elite theatre with cleanliness! The seats were super comfy and The restrooms were clean, and inside the theatre as well. Overall, I had a good time and I'll give iPic 5 stars all around. Good fun vibes and nice atmosphere! It's well worth it! I will be back for sure. One of the best movie experience I've witnessed! Side note: They automatically charge a fee of I believe is $75, but They put it right back on card after the show. Just heads up! Easy to find, right next to Sushi Roku in the cut. Soooo I'm not one for extravagant things... my brother in law took us out for kung fu panda 4 and went all out... let's just say.... it was worth Honestly, you can't tell it's a theater, lol.... even when you walk in, it feels like you're going into an underground club, and when you get down to where all the theaters are, it's an open space for you to wait for your movie. There is a pool table, and it was just really different. The service was great, Jovie was such a fun host and was able yo get everything to us in a timely manner. The servers usually try and get the food before the movie starts, so you can just watch and enjoy. The food... soooo usually, there is nothing to say about theater food it's theater food. How good can it be, right? Welllll.... they sure showed me... because the dang food was delicious lol. The sliders, the wings, churro. Popcorn... was allllll delicious. They're fried Mac and cheese... was good texture wise but lacked in flavor. But over all the food.was delicious. IpIc will be one of those go to spots for big movies. Have been coming to this location consistently for the past 2 1/2 years, averaging about 1 movie a week, so have been close to 100 times. Overall, I'd rate it a solid four stars! The staff are mostly kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming, and there are some true standouts I want to shout out: Ansia, Veronica, Will, and Emilio. They've gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome with warm smiles, great energy, and genuine hospitality. Their consistency is one of the big reasons I keep coming back! Like anywhere I've been this often, there have been a few hiccups here and there, but the food is solid for a movie theatre! There was one big hiccup that had me questioning my loyalty, but after dealing with Courtney in guest relations, she immediately want me back with her care, empathy, efficiency, and overall, just being a great person and representative of the brand! The wine list and cocktails are also really good for the price point, and the overall atmosphere feels more like a hotel lobby with a bar than a typical movie theatre. It's a fun place to hang out before or after a movie. The unique pod seating is what makes IPIC stand out. Having your own little space, plus food and drinks delivered during the film, makes for a great experience. That said, the screens are small and the sound system is not like AMC. Even with that, I consistently choose IPIC over AMC because the overall vibe and personalized setup win! One thing I've noticed over all my visits is that I've never had a manager approach me to check in, which feels odd since managers are often present in the service area near the registers. The only exception has been one manager: short blonde hair, light complexion, who has offered a friendly hello and smile. That small gesture goes a long way, and I wish more of that presence carried through. All in, IPIC Pas delivers a consistent, upscale, and individualized movie experience that's hard to beat. We love coming to the ipic, but the last few times we've come we have complained about it being so hot in the theaters. We've come for different movies in different rooms and it's rough. Our servers just let us know that it's been brutal for them running around with it so hot down there. Not sure why management is being so stingy but for the love of god turn on the AC! Also, the scented things you guys are spraying stop! The smell is awful and overbearing. Please it's so overwhelming and we sat next to a woman that had a full allergy fit from it. The servers are lovely and we usually have a great visit but please stop with the overwhelming cleaning products and make the theaters cool again! read more

This IPIC has to be our favorite one to see movies. I love it that it's so consistently good. Service is always fast and friendly. The spacious and cozy underground lounge is great to relax and have a few drinks before and after a movie. The food and drink menus are so good with reasonable prices. I love the dessert menu. Mini ice cream sandwiches and cheese cake are my favorites to eat while watching a movie. They made some changes about the seatings after pandemic though. They have more seats in a room now and the lounge in the front are actually very comfy and cozy. This theater is a bit far but we love to come in for big blockbuster movies. The experiences had always been pleasant and fun! I am just glad that it's still the same great place to see movies if not better! Ps. The popcorns here are so good! Since I am not a movie person, I rarely go to the theater unless someone asks. If someone asks, I won't decline, but I would never ever ask you first. So I ended up here in IPIC because my friend wanted to watch movies here specifically. I like that you can order food and drinks to enjoy during a movie with comfortable seating, so that was a plus.   We booked two movies on the same day, One after the other. It was nice that we could actually stay inside at the lounge after one and just hop onto the next one right away.   The host checking us in at the front was friendly and explained how it worked since it was our first visit. Then we took the escalator down and watched a movie. We ordered some shareable food: Nachos with Steak and Truffle Fries, along with cocktails. The food was whatever to be honest, and but portions were generous. My cocktail, Strawberry Field, was just OK. The server provided prompt service most of the time.   Then we went for our second movie and ordered some Ice Cream Sandwiches and water. It is obviously dark inside, and I didn't get to see my water cup until the ending credits went up. My water cup was super filthy! There was a lipstick mark left on the cup, and I never ever use any cups without a straw. If you know me well or personally, this is very very obvious. Plus, I hardly wear lipstick. That grossed me out so much that I decided not to return here ever. It is highly likely that other people might have gotten dirty plates, cups, and utensils but just couldn't see them because of the darkness.   So that alone was more than enough to ruin my night. It was AMAZING - staff was exceptional from start to finish- even escorted us to our seats- It is my husband's and I 15 year wedding anniversary- all we wanted to do was watch a movie - chill and eat- the ambiance is unmatched-. UNTIL...... when the movie was rolling the credits as it ended - I was contemplating if I wanted to take my filet mignon slider home with me - employees were cleaning and I notice Edwin ( manager told me his name ) picking up food off plates and concealing them in his hands - bro had TWO sliders on hush mode in the palm of his hand. In my head I said aint no way! We made eye contact- before I got up I coughed crazy and dropped the slider on the floor, put it back on the plate and walked out - I told my husband and said I am going to act like I left something in there . I SAW EDWIN PICK UP MY SLIDER- walk to a corner and eat it !! NASTY NASTY ! spoke to management because what? IPIC Pasadena provides a cool and premium fun cinema experience. It was my first time visiting last week and I enjoyed the visit, I would definitely return. I haven't seen anything like it really, there's multiple floors to it and it's really neat. The first floor is where you check in and then you go through a series of escalators to different floors. The 2nd floor is a little chill area with a pool table and down further is a big room with a lounge, bar with dining and the various theatre rooms. Everyone we came into contact which was nice and I wanted to shoutout Mitchell who gave a little tour to us. The theatre rooms are smaller than the very big rooms at some of the chain cinema's, but this is due to the minimal seating that allows this type of premium experience. Seating includes chaise lounges and then their premium seating's which are recliner eats; all seating includes a table and blankets. For this first experience we did the chaise lounge, which is only in the very front row. It was somewhat comfortable but after some time my back did slight hurt; I think I'll give them another go but would also like to opt for their other seating option. There's a menu on each table and with push of a button or if there is a service attendant near you they will ask if you'd like to order anything. The drawback to this type of experience is that it takes away from your possible full attention to the movie since you will need to talk, hear voices and the food/drinks arriving. If you don't mind that, it's totally great. The menu features all sorts of things from various drinks (alcoholic included such as cocktails, wine and beer), breakfast, various snacks and shareables ( charcuterie, nachos, chick wings, popcorn etc), pizzas, burgers and wraps, various entrees (mac and cheese, some salads, etc), and desserts (cookies, cakes, etc). The price is a bit more than other establishments (currently around $22 plus any service fees) but given the vibe and experience it absolutely makes sense. I'm not sure if you can purchase a ticket when you get there, but doing it online on their site was easy and you will be given all instructions/details (they are a cashless establishment for example). I'm not a cinema buff, but the sound and quality were similar for me than other places so it was all good for me. There's a couple parking lots within the vicinity besides any street metered parking. My boyfriend has been mentioning iPic since we first started dating and Barbie finally brought us in! Tickets were easy to reserve online, but be aware that movies might have limited showings due to space. Although we had "front row" seats, our "couch (?)" was comfortable and I didn't feel any discomfort from viewing. Be sure to get there early to enjoy all of the amenities- a full restaurant and bar, a pool table, photo ops, and more! We sipped on espresso martinis (it was a late showing and needed energy lol) before the show. I was surprised to have a server come directly to our seats! I think its great that this place exists but its inconsistent with service. Ive been supporting going here for a year but recently been disappointing. I dont think they get it that sometimes you want to see what you eat and dine at the bar area not the bar itself (especially if you don't drink alcohol) - it takes forever to get service or they just ignore you. By the time you order and get food, the movie is about to start so whats the point. Happened 3-4 times. Then when you're on your seat, again service is inconsistent. There are mostly friendly servers but others have attitude like why did you press the blue button feeling. I ordered sparkling water and still bottled water came instead - not a big deal but then I had to press the button again to ask for glasses - did you expect us to drink from the large bottle? A few times the servers just drop thr food like they are pissed - likely really, I'm paying for this? The front lobby reception staff are always so nice and welcoming. Love them. Elevator stinks and they use some cheap perfume - why not use air filter? I brought family and friends here but Im done - tired of supporting businesses that are subpar and don't care for clients or train staff that are client facing. read more

Overall a great experience. You're welcomed from the beginning and they go as far as bringing you to your seats. You're able to relax and hang out before the movie if you came too early. They've got blankets for you on your seats in case you get cold and with a push of a button, you're able to order your food. Definitely is worth checking out but know that it is a tiny bit on the pricey side. I probably spent 120 in total for 2 people. Went here for date night for the first time. It was a nice place, the staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Shoutout to our waitress Veronica. They even provide a blanket on each seat. The only negative to our experience was that there was a couple sitting next to us that kept talking throughout the whole movie. At first my boyfriend told our waitress to tell them to to be quiet. It's my favorite movie theater, worth the price, as well as driving the distance. I usually order tickets online & select seats. When you arrive, you check in on the 1st floor; always super friendly. Then you take the escalator downstairs to the 2nd level, where there is a pool table if you want to play! On the 3rd level/bottom level is the main attraction: the movie theater, dining area, tables, bar, and lounge area, it's pretty fabulous & decorated in such a beautiful way! Dine-In Theater: The seats are cute, cozy & they recline! Score! You also get a blanket, pillow and free popcorn! Yay! Before the movie, you're given a menu to select food and drinks, which we always do, and everything is always so delicious. I always order Spicy Tuna on crispy rice, it's the best!! He enjoys this dish as well! As for drinks, whatever I'm in the mood for that day. You can also order during the movie by pressing a button! Fun! First impressions definitely count on my end, especially after reading and researching on my own so that I could have some idea of what to expect during my visit. I have been to Cinepolis and so this isn't my first movie theatre with "service at the push of a button" Located in the old town Pasadena, there is public parking across from this theatre, I payed $12 bux that evening for my visit. I decided to come watch "The First Omen" here and for the experience that this theatre offers. Upon arrival, I was greeted and checked in for my movie, however, the escalators were out of order that night and I took the elevator down to the basement. As soon as the elevator doors opened, I walked into a beautiful large lounge, bar and TV's, comfy couches. Drank my beer until it was time for me to head inside the theatre. Found my "pod" after I spotted the letter all the way down the seat, not easy to find but I had an idea when I purchased my tickets online. No "pillow" but did find the blanket like all reviews have mentioned. Luckily, I was seated by myself so I didn't have to share the tiny table in the middle of both seats. food Service-well I pushed my button and waited around, good 20 minutes and then I noticed that the "Wi-Fi" was not working and I could not view the menu. So the young lady that came by ended up giving me a paper menu. Mind you, it was dark and show had started already so I had to use the light in my phone to read and once again press and wait for someone to come along and get my order. I went with the truffle fries and mozzarella sticks. both were delicious so that was one highlight of the night. Also, they pre-charge your card for $75 dollars prior to your order, and they release holds once you close your tab. Would I come back? It's a big maybe... If a movie gets my attention bad enough for me to make the trip to this theatre because I did enjoy my own space and the recliner was comfortable, the blanket did not have a pleasant smell and therefore I only used it to cover my legs. I am not much of a "movie person" but I wanted to visit this place. Another delay for me, was having to wait for my tab/receipt to get to me since they do "last call" and then I had to wait with everyone until the server came with the receipts. Lastly, by midnight, the women's restroom was a disaster, some toilets full of paper unflushed, etc. any who I made it out of there; thanks for reading my honest opinion. iPic Pasadena has long been one of my favorite places. I became a member many years ago when they first opened and have always enjoyed the overall experience -- the food, the service, and the unique ability to dine and enjoy drinks while watching a movie. However, I'm giving 3 stars due to issues with their hours of operation and lack of communication. According to Yelp, the theater opens at 2:00 PM. We arrived at that time and waited until 2:10 PM, but the doors remained closed. I attempted to call several times, but no one answered the phone. Around 2:15 PM, an employee arrived, and when I asked about the opening time, he told me they open at 2:30 PM. We left briefly and returned at 2:30 PM, but the doors were still closed. They finally opened at 2:37 PM. When I brought up the discrepancy between the posted hours and the actual opening time, the staff member simply said, "We open at different times depending on how popular the movie is," without any acknowledgment of the inconvenience or suggestion they would update the public information. Considering iPic offers food and bar service, guests often arrive early to enjoy these amenities before the movie begins. At the very least, accurate business hours should be reflected on Yelp, the website, posted at the entrance, and communicated via phone. While I considered giving a 1-star review due to the dismissive response and poor communication, the excellent service provided by my food server and the overall concept of iPic earned back some points. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves consistency in communication and customer service. read more
