Decent theatre screen but you can tell the seats have been there a while by the worn out headrests. Pick the last 2-3 rows so you're not straining your head looking up at the screen. Parking is validated by the theatre if you park a block away at The Exchange parking lot. 4 hours for $1.

Went to this theater to support an indie Filipino film & thought it was great! It's very clean on the inside, the seats are spacious, & they have good amenities. They also offer free parking with validation in the structure just down the street! Would visit again if I was in the area - it's important to support smaller theaters (-:

Recently hosted a film screening here and the on-site staff was awesome! The manager couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. The place is perfectly set up for a community film screening. You will probably have to pay for parking. There is a lot with validation that will end up costing you $1. Concessions are also interesting and varied - definitely not just the popcorn and soda type. The theater itself was very nicely done with comfortable seating and a layout that allows everyone to get a good view of the screen. Highly recommend as a place to host a screening. And really looking forward to going here just to watch one of their very well-curated current films!

I usually visit this theater 'cause they have screenings of movies you can't find at any other theaters such as foreign language, independent and restricted rated films. The rooms are small and compact; but they have plenty of room between rows. Restrooms are nice and clean. They have a nice menu on concessions as well as the usual. Parking validation for $1 for 4hrs at N Artsakh Ave across Wilson (exchange parking lot) and there's also paid lots nearby or street parking just don't forget to check the signs.

4.5 for a cute little movie house in town! They surprisingly offer vegan food on the menu including their popcorn (butter is optional on the side) which is a plus plus! Nice staff, clean theaters and hallways, and a great experience!

    Super clean and comfy theater

Such a cool hidden gem. The theater is very clean, including the bathrooms, and comfortable with plenty of indie selections. Worth the higher price if you're into a quieter experience focused on the movie, with little to none of the long ads and previews at the beginning. Seems the crowd brings in true movie fanatics, at least when I was there for a foreign film, I saw zero kids my entire time at the theater, both before and after the movie. Plus they have a concession stand for your needs, with premium canned drinks and bottled waters in addition to popcorn. I'll be back in the future!

When I order "fresh" popcorn, I expect it to be at least a bit warm but this popcorn was pretty cold. It's still decent, but buttery popcorn is just not as tasty when it's cold. We thought it was interesting and unusual that there was no one checking our tickets to let us into the theater. You could basically just walk into the theater without showing any proof of ticket. The staff seemed pretty attentive but then again I didn't order much. We were allowed into the theater about 5 minutes before the showing, but it makes sense that they probably have more to clean due to more plates, cups, etc. The bathrooms were okay, missing toilet seat covers and low on toilet paper, but they reeked of urine. My husband mentioned the men's restroom being very dirty. Also, I would've preferred it to be a bit cooler in the theater. They definitely had AC but with the summer heat, it would be nice to keep it a little cooler in the theater. The seats are definitely a bit worn out and some have been taped, but they are reclining and still decent. Overall, I'm not sure if I would return here but it's really not as bad as the other reviews made it seem. Maybe it depends on the day? I'm not sure.

Felt like a VIP movie night (with one tiny wrap flaw!)…read more Let me start with a quick parking tip because it's definitely in the fine print: there's "One Garage" literally right next door that offers complimentary 3-hour parking once you get validation from iPic, the only garage to get validated! Sounds amazing... until you show up and it's already full... which was what happened. Our movie started at 6:00 PM, we arrived around 5:20 PM, and the garage was completely closed off -- they weren't letting anyone else in. Luckily, we found parking about 3 minutes away and paid around $5, which honestly wasn't too bad. We came here for the second part of our Valentine's date night and watched Wuthering Heights because hello... Margot Robbie is my favorite girl. I haven't been here in over 15 years and WOW -- I forgot how absolutely beautiful this theater is inside. The lobby is spacious, classy, and honestly feels kind of luxurious. There are pool tables, a full bar area downstairs, and spaces where you can hang out with drinks and good company before your movie. We headed straight into our theater and ordered food from our seats (also... water is complimentary, love that). We were seated in our own little pod -- super intimate with two seats, cozy setup, and yes... a blanket. It truly felt like rich people movie night. Shoutout to our server Jake, who was outstanding from start to finish. Great service, super attentive, and made the experience even better. Food-wise: The Boss Burger ($20.5) was a solid 8.5/10 -- hubby really enjoyed it. Although, there were no pickles or tomatoes in there even though it was in their menu. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap ($17), and I'll be honest... it was the only downside of the night. It was a bit cold and tough, and the tortilla-to-filling ratio was a little off for me. I'd give it a 6/10. If the tortilla was a bit warmer I'd think it'll be able to hold onto the filling a bit better, but that was meh, for me. BUT the fries? Piping hot, crispy, and delicious. And Jake even brought us ranch, BBQ sauce, and extra ketchup without us having to ask twice. Overall, this was my husband's first time here, and it definitely won't be our last. We had such a great experience -- the ambience, service, and overall vibe were top-tier. Can't wait for our next cozy movie night here!

The seats were way too close together, and the person next to us had belongings spread into the shared space, making it very difficult to get in and out of our seats comfortably. Because of how uncomfortable the situation was, we decided to leave during the previews before the movie even started. We politely explained the issue to the manager and asked if we could either move to different seats -- even less expensive ones -- or receive some type of accommodation such as passes for another movie. Unfortunately, the manager refused to help in any way and would not issue a refund, exchange, or even offer courtesy tickets. For a theater that markets itself as a luxury experience and charges premium prices, I expected much better customer service. Other theaters like AMC are usually much more understanding and willing to work with customers when issues arise. Instead, we left feeling frustrated after paying for a movie we never got to watch. Sadly, this experience completely turned us off from coming back.

The volume inside the IMAX auditorium was at an extremely dangerous level. It wasn't just "loud"... it was concert-level loud and physically uncomfortable. My Apple Watch actually warned me that continued exposure at that level could cause permanent hearing damage. That should never happen in a movie theater. At multiple points, we had to cover our ears just to sit through it. It was overwhelming and distracting instead of immersive. I went out to ask staff if the volume could be lowered and was told it was just for the trailers--but once the movie started, it stayed just as loud. That's not acceptable. There's a big difference between immersive and unsafe, and this crossed the line. Customers should not have to worry about hearing damage or other hearing problems at a movie theater. Management needs to address this and bring the volume down to a safe level. That said, the theater itself is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, the screen quality is great, and the movie was amazing. This would have been a perfect experience if the volume had been at a reasonable level.

While my two fave ladies were spending time together, my son and I spent quality time together watching the movie The Odyssey at Regal La Canada. The Odyssey was a very entertaining movie that I highly recommend and watching this summer blockbuster at Regal La Canada made for good first time experience there. It's more of an old school movie theater with quality customer service and tasty food. When we entered the small strip mall with the movie theater was the main focal point, I was a little confused because the signage on the building was United Artists (UA) theater not Regal theaters. If you've lived in California awhile, then you should be familiar with the UA brand movie theaters, which is why I had a sense of nostalgia seeing the UA moniker. UA was purchased by Regal, so this movie theater is part of the Regal movie theater chain specifically located in La Cañada Flintridge. There are a few other shops located in this strip mall, but the one I remember is North Shore Burgers. There is plenty of parking at this location and the traffic flow is one way as you enter the strip mall. We watched The Odyssey during matinee hours, so it wasn't that crowded, but I got the feel that this wasn't a busy movie theater. The staff here provided quality customer service and were friendly. I had ordered tickets the day before, but mistakenly purchased tickets for the wrong day. I left a message to request a refund and when I tried to call a second time, a manager answered while I was leaving a message and she promptly refunded my money providing quality service like her staff. Regal UA La Canada gives off an old school vibe. The movie theater definitely needs some modernizing with regards to their leather recliner chairs and the layout of their seats, but I actually liked the old school vibe. When your order popcorn, the staff asks if you want butter and they're the ones placing butter into your popcorn. I prefer self service, but they did a good job buttering my popcorn. The popcorn was fresh when I initially ordered and when I requested a refill. My son ordered a pepperoni pizza and that too came out well made with the cheese melted and the crust crunchy. Their leather seats aren't the electronic recliners, but rather they're the pull out lever old school recliners. They worked fine and the leather seating was comfortable. Even the restrooms were old school, but they were clean. There were also some arcade games for the kids to occupy themselves while waiting or after watching a movie. While my two fave ladies spent quality time together, my son and I got to hang out and watched a Must See movie The Odyssey. We had a fun first time experience at Regal UA La Canada.

Summer blockbusters, big screen action, 3-D thrills, and comfortable seating makes this theater a preferred option for us. My butt is happy too, even during longer showtimes. *** ScreenX *** This is the newest edition to their theater lineup. The 270-degree immersive view with multi-projection system gives you a little more picture along the side walls. Personally, I'm a fan, but also the comfy, oversized, pleather seats make longer films more worth it. We saw "Minions & Monsters" here and got a little more of "Eyelene" plus Minion shenanigans as if we were inside the animated story. *** XL *** This theater gives you a bigger screen with crisp, 4K Laser Projection. Great for Marvel Universe flicks. Toy Story 5 was also fun since we felt like we were eye level with Woody, Buzz, and the entire Pixar crew. *** IMAX *** Got to see several IMAX 3D pics over the years. The ginormous curved screen gives you the illusion of a more panoramic experience without warping the visuals. I imagine we'll be see Christopher Nolan's epic tale, "The Odyssey", in this theater very soon. *** AMC Stubs Membership *** We have an AMC Stubs Membership and it helps us squeeze in more big screen action, rom-coms, thrillers, superhero flicks, and animation's finest all year long. The perks pay off when we apply our rewards to buy things like popcorn, drinks, and snacks. There's always an upgrade in popcorn - from normal to gigantic and we get free refills. The Fanta-Coke machine is prob my tastebuds' fave since I love experimenting with pineapple, peach, grape, fruit punch, cherry, and all the other soda options. The ICEE machine is always stocked with cherry + coke flavor, but I haven't been lucky enough to try the dragonfruit yet. Oh, and the Bavarian Pretzel is massive and can feed a small family in the snacks department. Cheese dipping sauce is good. *** McGuffins Bar *** Love that you can order a thematic, foufou cocktail from the theater bar and infuse a little from the movie you're watching. AMC Stubs Membership discounts didn't apply. *** Movie Geeks Love It *** I enjoy looking at the walls and seeing the various iconic filmmakers and actors on the murals. There's always a prop from a recent movie behind glass (like Knoxville's suit from "Jackass"). And in the ladies bathroom, I like to test my movie quote knowledge. It's not just the recent movies, but also classics that have crawled into my heart over the years. *** Parking *** Free parking garages are adjacent to this complex. Street parking can also be found. There are three covered parking garages within a two-block radius. And that's a wrap!

There are many seats to choose from and the quality of the screen and sound are both top notch. I'm glad I chose to watch The Odyssey here in 70mm. Would love to come back to watch something else.

My wife and I absolutely love drive-ins! Tickets are bought online and range in price. Astro turf seating is $13 per person or $20 for two. No car parking is included (so you have to park outside the event) and you have to bring your own chair or rent one from them. Early Bird Car Entry + Driver is $28 ($20 for the car fee, $8 for the driver). Additional passengers are $8 per person. VIP is $75 and covers 1 car and 4 people for front row seating (just behind the astro turf area). Doors open either an hour or an hour & a half before showtime. When we scoped out the place, there was a sign that said exactly when the doors were going to be opened in the driveway. Since we had time (we were a wee bit too early), we went around the corner to get some grub. When we came back, we were second in line roughly a half hour before opening. Not too shabby and I definitely recommend showing up early to get a good spot (unless you're a VIP fancy pants). The line formed shortly after and wrapped around to Central. Pro tip - don't be a jerkasaurus and try to cut in line! The employees do notice anyone trying to pull a fast one and will make you go to the back of the line. Electric Dusk Drive-In is located off of Central Ave and California Ave in the old Sears parking lot. You cannot turn left into the parking lot on California! You have to enter from Central so that you turn right into the lot and don't block traffic. It was entertaining seeing so many people not grasp this simple idea. Once inside, the employees will scan your tickets and direct you where to park. If you want to back up and watch from your trunk, tell them and they'll help you out. If you're worried about your car battery dying out - bring your own radio or you can rent a transistor radio from them. If you listen via your car radio and it dies, they'll help jumpstart your car after the show. For restrooms, they provide two porta potties in the back side along with a hand washing station. If you're feeling munchy, they have a concession stand near the entrance but I'd encourage just getting your food beforehand from any eatery around the area (The Great White Hut is directly across the street). If you're thinking about trying Electric Dusk Drive-In, stop thinking and just do it already! They have a wide variety of movies to choose from (some are double-features) so you're covered no matter your taste of genre. It's such a fun nostalgic night and I can't wait to go back!

Every Friday, I find myself here, slipping away from the noise of everyday life to just sit back and take it all in. There's this familiar, almost haunting feeling as I settle in, like the quiet echoes of a simpler time when life had fewer responsibilities and the weekends felt endless. It reminds me of the freedom of youth--those days when we'd get together just to laugh, talk, and sometimes just sit, high on life and each other's company. Coming here alone gives me space to think, and maybe I'm pining for something that's already slipped away. There's a beauty in watching everyone gathered, all ages connected in the moment of a shared movie under the open sky. Couples sit close together, holding hands behind the truck beds, while kids are practically bouncing as their parents grab popcorn and candy, their joy so pure and unrestrained. This place is a gem, perfect for unwinding, reflecting, or even sharing a quiet evening with someone special. The staff here are warm and attentive, and the food choices are simple but affordable. With plenty of room between cars, you get enough privacy to feel like you're in your own world but not so alone that you can't feel the presence of others sharing the night. It's a place to escape, to remember, and to take life just a bit slower
