IMAX and Dolby are amazing here, but not that I believe all theater seating has been updated in quality these past years, you can't go wrong with any. We're gearing up for some of the summer blockbusters. Very much looking forward to Supergirl 2026, following the Woman of Tomorrow storyline, among others. Friday nights are the busiest here, we've learned that a few times and now usually do Sunday mornings or afternoons. Great deals on Tuesdays, and seeing things in the early half of the week are ideal with more parking and less traffic by car as well as on foot. Concessions is massive and well ran as well as kept up. Personable crew through and through making the AMC Burbank 16 not just a favorite, but one that does it's best. Some of the coolest displays and posters you'll see outside of AMC Citywalk Universal which has more costumes and set pieces displayed at times. Love the layout for the MacGuffins bar, but drinks are not reasonable and very mid. Great snack selection as well as merch. They're definitely making movies/movie going better!

The theater does not have a huge selection of movies and it is smaller. It still is worth a visit. Shorter lines for sure. We had their reclining seats that go all the way back and arms that go up. There are no hand sanitizers available for visitors to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between visitors. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty decent, but I was warned by a friend of mine to park on the street and then walk on over because getting out of the parking lot can be a pain. I did check out the parking lot even though I parked on the street and walked on over, and it is massive and the spots look spacious. I was there during a private event, and all the spots were taken by the time I got there, and I also got there early. So many visitors had to park on the street anyways. My biggest gripe about this theater is why would you only put 3 stalls in the women's bathroom?!? The line before and after the film was hella long. Disney, please fix this issue. Even the men's restroom line was very long before and after the movie. The film was 3 hours and 17 minutes long, so everyone was scrambling for the bathroom after the film had ended. Please do better, Disney. Staff: The staff here are very nice, welcoming, friendly, and courteous. Security here is pretty good. Thier budgets are low but they do a lot with them. Most Asylum films are a lot of fun. Many of them can be seen on SyFy, including Mega Piranha, Snakes on a Train, and the recent hit creature film, Sharknado. Grab some popcorn and watch with friends. This low budget production house creates masterpieces for SyFy, Lifetime, and direct to DVD and VOD. The building is filled with shark props from their plethora of shark movies and the staff who work there to make the movies are a fantastic group of people. Without them pulling off impossible feats on little budget and short time frames, this place couldn't pump out the amount of content they do. You can find asylum films everywhere. If it's schlocky and fun, it's probably asylum. Their most noted films would be the sharknado series. So grab the popcorn and get watching.

If you choose the garage, the theatre provides four hours of validation at their machine, so just make sure to scan your parking ticket before you leave. Bathroom: The bathrooms were relatively clean and fully stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, seat covers, and everything else you might need. This was a pleasant surprise since I came late at night around 10:30 PM, and usually by that time everything is running low. WiFi: They offer complimentary WiFi, which was great. Recliners: - The reclining chair was comfortable, although it made quite a bit of noise when adjusting it, so I'd recommend settling into your position before the movie starts since it can be distracting. - Each seat has a pull-out table that you can extend or fold inward, giving you a mini table for food and drinks. It was extremely convenient and something I've never seen before. Super cool! View: We sat in F7 and F8 toward the back and had a clear view of the screen. The picture was clear and the audio sounded great. Drinks: I ordered a medium Icee and it was surprisingly large. Cons: My main complaint was the behavior of some guests who were disruptive throughout the film, constantly on their phones and even playing videos out loud at times. When they left, they also left trash, food, and their drinks scattered all over the seats and floor.

Then, there's the stated mission of screening only film prints. Caught the "Kill Bill Saga" in 70mm and, a few weeks later, the return engagement of P.T. Anderson's "One Battle After Another", this time also in 70. It had originally shown there in Vistavision, the format in which it was shot. Anyway, I live in Atwater Village, so it's just a few minutes away. I plan to return often.

Smith, and presents a hybrid of two different styles: the exterior is Spanish Mission Revival style, and the interior is Egyptian Revival style- which reminds me a lot of another Hollywood theater- the Egyptian. I went to see Kill Bill: the Whole Bloody Affair. Unless you have "parking powers" activated, add a half hour onto your commute time to arrive and find neighborhood parking somewhere within a mile of this theater. I found a spot in a nearby neighborhood by a school. Back to the movie KB:tWBA-- I hadn't seen Killing William since its initial theatrical run, so it felt pretty new to me. THE MOVIEGOING EXPERIENCE: This movie still hits hard in a packed theater. Lots of reactions and laughs and groans, etc. I was probably laughing the hardest at how much FEET were in this movie. The seats were comfortable and that's judged by my shifting around only two times that I can recall. Thankfully this movie had an intermission to stretch during its 4+ hour runtime. I went during this exclusive December engagement and there's a lot of memorabilia on display in the lobby. There's a lot of snack and food and drink options, and it's pretty reasonably priced. Also, bring your own snacks! No one is checking bags and pockets here and the world is getting pretty expensive. The Vista is in a hip part of town and there's a lot of great eats and drinks in walking distance. We dined at Fred 62 after!

The movie going experience was a good one so we really dont have complaints. We would go back again. Not the most modern of movie theaters but it suited us just fine. Parking is validated for the structure across the street. Otherwise, there is some metered street parking and other pay lots a short walk away. Go see Michael the movie. Great job crew!
