They need to up their cleaning crew across the board
Marcela H.

I LOVE this place because every year in December they offer their unlimited movie pass for $99. The fiancé and I love getting it because it's good at all 3 locations near us (Monrovia, Glendale, Downey). There are plenty of theaters and they have a good selection of movies, plus they have mystery movies which might get you to see something you wouldn't have initially picked. You can also order food/drinks and they have a few combo deals that are reasonably priced. That said, not all theaters and seats are made equal. Most of their recliners are super beat up and hardly have any of the leather still on them. It's all been chipped off. But they recline and in the dark I try and forget what the place looks like with the lights on lol. But seriously, all 3 locations need some serious chair upgrades and/or restoration. Bathrooms are also a hit or miss. They tend to be pretty gnarly so I try and avoid them.

Sad that they closed the one in Monrovia, bummer to have to travel 30 mins longer for a movie to use up my pass that I bought. Parking across from the movie theater even with validation had to pay, movie wasn't too long, and we didn't go anywhere but from the theater to our car. They have two sides of the theater so make sure you check your ticket. Then you have to scan your ticket and give them a print out. Movie theater is more up to date than Monrovia but the bottom of the theater didn't have lights on so it was fun to travel through the dark lol

This theater is conveniently located in Burbank off of Brand Avenue. 90 minutes of free parking across the street. Our theater was located downstairs which was dark. It had recliner seats which was nice. The have a full menu of drinks, cocktails, shakes, popcorn but entrees which includes a smashburger and fries! It was nice to order on the phone and have it delivered to your seat except when customers are seated to the right of you! Twice servers walked in front of me to deliver drinks then food. Interrupted the movie twice! :( The bathroom was a mess! Dirty and stinky! The whole theater is dark so you cannot see how dirty it is!

Beautiful, spacious theaters and comfortable reclining leather seats. There's parking across the street. Make sure to take your parking ticket and get it validated.

I've been coming to this movie theater for years and always enjoy the experience but this review is specifically about the restaurant. Tonight, I decided to skip ordering from my seat and instead went directly to the restaurant, thinking it would be quicker. Big mistake. I placed my order with a red-haired woman with a neck tattoo: a pizza, a quesadilla, two fountain drinks, & last minute a kids' chicken tenders meal. The total came out to $68, which didn't make sense. Upon reviewing the receipt, I noticed she charged me full price instead of a kids' meal. If adults aren't allowed to order kids meals, that's fine, just say that. Instead of offering a refund or adjusting the order, she gave me alternative kids meal options to choose from... still at full price. That's not what I asked for. On top of that, her attitude was cold and dismissive. As someone who works in the service industry, I was shocked at the lack of customer service and emotional intelligence. It felt like she just didn't care. Also my friend and I ordered two regular fountain drinks, yet somehow we were handed two kid-sized cups? Make it make sense. I didn't want to escalate the situation, especially since she was clearly avoiding me when I tried to get her attention. Another employee saw me standing there and didn't even bother to ask if I needed help. If I come back it'll be for the movies, but I'll definitely be skipping the restaurant moving forward.

This was my first time at a LOOK location, and I watched Last Breath in PX (Premium Experience). The massive screen made for an immersive viewing experience--while I'm not sure if it's as big as IMAX, it definitely felt engaging. The image was crisp, and the sound quality was sharp. The luxury reclining chairs come with heating, cooling for beverages, and a built-in light. The food was decent, and I recommend ordering with a server to avoid the app's convenience fee. Tuesday movie discounts are a great deal, and the theater wasn't crowded. (24/100)

this place is the nicest looking theater in the area. As an architect major, I really did this place. Plus, green is my favorite color ;)

Standing outside for our movie because the theatre hadn't been cleaned at all, despite the movie starting over 10 minutes ago

Felt like a VIP movie night (with one tiny wrap flaw!)…read more Let me start with a quick parking tip because it's definitely in the fine print: there's "One Garage" literally right next door that offers complimentary 3-hour parking once you get validation from iPic, the only garage to get validated! Sounds amazing... until you show up and it's already full... which was what happened. Our movie started at 6:00 PM, we arrived around 5:20 PM, and the garage was completely closed off -- they weren't letting anyone else in. Luckily, we found parking about 3 minutes away and paid around $5, which honestly wasn't too bad. We came here for the second part of our Valentine's date night and watched Wuthering Heights because hello... Margot Robbie is my favorite girl. I haven't been here in over 15 years and WOW -- I forgot how absolutely beautiful this theater is inside. The lobby is spacious, classy, and honestly feels kind of luxurious. There are pool tables, a full bar area downstairs, and spaces where you can hang out with drinks and good company before your movie. We headed straight into our theater and ordered food from our seats (also... water is complimentary, love that). We were seated in our own little pod -- super intimate with two seats, cozy setup, and yes... a blanket. It truly felt like rich people movie night. Shoutout to our server Jake, who was outstanding from start to finish. Great service, super attentive, and made the experience even better. Food-wise: The Boss Burger ($20.5) was a solid 8.5/10 -- hubby really enjoyed it. Although, there were no pickles or tomatoes in there even though it was in their menu. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap ($17), and I'll be honest... it was the only downside of the night. It was a bit cold and tough, and the tortilla-to-filling ratio was a little off for me. I'd give it a 6/10. If the tortilla was a bit warmer I'd think it'll be able to hold onto the filling a bit better, but that was meh, for me. BUT the fries? Piping hot, crispy, and delicious. And Jake even brought us ranch, BBQ sauce, and extra ketchup without us having to ask twice. Overall, this was my husband's first time here, and it definitely won't be our last. We had such a great experience -- the ambience, service, and overall vibe were top-tier. Can't wait for our next cozy movie night here!

That said, on my most recent visit, I noticed the theater didn't feel as clean as it has in the past. The elevator carpet in particular could use a deep cleaning and had an unpleasant smell. Hoping this is just a temporary slip, because I've always enjoyed coming here and would love to see it back at its usual standard.

Yes, he did know there was something allowed, but that a manager would need to handle it. We stepped to the side and within a minute a manager appeared and did his magic. Pleasant, professional and efficient. After the final credits rolled, we stood up and saw the uncourteous "blue hairs" seated behind us had their popcorn all over the seats and chairs. But someone was standing by to get it all taken care of. Again, efficiency. Chairs were big, comfy and reclined. The screen image and sound were good. The lobby offered a wide variety of snacks. If we were sugary sweets addicts, or into snacks during a movie, we'd probably be quite happy with the offerings. Plenty of free parking all around this theater and easy in/out with the street light right there. We would come back to this theater because of the friendly, efficient staff, comfy chairs and non stick floors. Cheers! "CC"

We couldn't get the tickets online so we had to wait in the same line as the popcorn to purchase our tickets. I was hoping there would be another faster way of getting tickets like a tablet or something. We ended up getting the tickets and decided to get some snacks. I got a single small White Claw that was about $13 which was insane. We went to our seats and the theater was very small so seats were limited. We ended up in the second row so we had to look up to watch the movie but the seats reclined so that definitely helped. Pretty good experience but not the most practical choice unless you're nearby.

The wait became uncomfortable after two employees were unable to scan it and called a manager who still couldn't scan it. The recliner seats were very comfortable and due to the 1.5 hour run time, nobody had to sneak out for a restroom break. It was a nutty, completely bonkers film and yet internally consistent and thought provoking. Excellent music, acting, and directing. I guess partly because I had zero expectations, I laughed aloud multiple times and was thoroughly entertained. It's what I would call a surrealistic dramedy maybe? This movie theater is just a fun venue, smaller than a Regal or AMC so therefore never crowded feeling. On a weeknight there's no traffic to go there in 30 min...

Tickets are bought online and range in price. Astro turf seating is $13 per person or $20 for two. No car parking is included (so you have to park outside the event) and you have to bring your own chair or rent one from them. Early Bird Car Entry + Driver is $28 ($20 for the car fee, $8 for the driver). Additional passengers are $8 per person. VIP is $75 and covers 1 car and 4 people for front row seating (just behind the astro turf area). Doors open either an hour or an hour & a half before showtime. When we scoped out the place, there was a sign that said exactly when the doors were going to be opened in the driveway. Since we had time (we were a wee bit too early), we went around the corner to get some grub. When we came back, we were second in line roughly a half hour before opening. Not too shabby and I definitely recommend showing up early to get a good spot (unless you're a VIP fancy pants). The line formed shortly after and wrapped around to Central. Pro tip - don't be a jerkasaurus and try to cut in line! The employees do notice anyone trying to pull a fast one and will make you go to the back of the line. Electric Dusk Drive-In is located off of Central Ave and California Ave in the old Sears parking lot. You cannot turn left into the parking lot on California! You have to enter from Central so that you turn right into the lot and don't block traffic. It was entertaining seeing so many people not grasp this simple idea. Once inside, the employees will scan your tickets and direct you where to park. If you want to back up and watch from your trunk, tell them and they'll help you out. If you're worried about your car battery dying out - bring your own radio or you can rent a transistor radio from them. If you listen via your car radio and it dies, they'll help jumpstart your car after the show. For restrooms, they provide two porta potties in the back side along with a hand washing station. If you're feeling munchy, they have a concession stand near the entrance but I'd encourage just getting your food beforehand from any eatery around the area (The Great White Hut is directly across the street). If you're thinking about trying Electric Dusk Drive-In, stop thinking and just do it already! They have a wide variety of movies to choose from (some are double-features) so you're covered no matter your taste of genre. It's such a fun nostalgic night and I can't wait to go back!

It reminds me of the freedom of youth--those days when we'd get together just to laugh, talk, and sometimes just sit, high on life and each other's company. Coming here alone gives me space to think, and maybe I'm pining for something that's already slipped away. There's a beauty in watching everyone gathered, all ages connected in the moment of a shared movie under the open sky.
