Just went to see the new spiderman. I was really worried after I bought the tickets because of the reviews on here but honestly, I didn't really have any complaints. The seat was comfortable and reclined nicely. The desert was acceptable. Unfortunately they charge you for water cups so it is a bit expensive and the fact that a server is walking up to you during a movie was kinda annoying but honestly it's a good trade off for the seats. The staff were really nice and easy to deal with. The digs were kinda shit but I mean these days I don't think you can find a nice theater in LA like you could 10-15 years ago. So it was just fine. The screen was good and the sound was fine. Someone had complained about those but you're paying $20 per ticket here for a comfortable and low-key viewing experience. If you want crazy visuals and audio id suggest going to iPic or Cosm where you can pay $40+ per ticket. The parking was super chill. We pulled up and parked and a short walk across the road to the theater took about 6 mins to get in our seat. I've heard so many people complain about the food here as if they expect a Michelin dining experience. Like bro come on it's a theater not a restaurant. Temper your expectations when trying to order a smorgasbord at a place like this. I'll def come back. read more

Brought my munchkins here for Sunday funday to see the new Paw Patrol movie. It was our first time ever in a LOOK theatre since we usually go to AMC. What sets this theater apart is the option to order food, popcorn, alcohol, soda etc directly from your seat by QR code and have it delivered without ever getting up and missing out on the movie. If you are anything like me and always run late, the last thing you want to do is wait in long concession lines. Between the 3 of us I spent $65 on food and drinks. 2 x $10 kid quesadillas 1 x $19 taco bowl 1 x $3 apple juice 1 x $7.50 soda The convenience is there but the quality was not. It was equivalent to taco bell at triple the pricing. Theatre chairs were also dirty and old. Do what you will with that information. read more

Cons: Their screens are divided into 2 separate buildings A and B across each other which can be a little confusing for a 1st timer there.They only have 1 men & 1 women restroom inside building A with the dine in restaurant & screen 1-2 and the men's restroom is very small and not very clean. UFC 330 was playing in PX screen which supposed to be a premium with better picture & sound quality than standard screens but I didn't notice any difference between that PX screen and their standard ones. Not any better than the old Monrovia LOOK. Same company, same problems. Sometimes the wrong food served, other times cold food served, weird gloopy hard cheese, etc. Most auditorium seats are in disrepair, seat numbers missing, crumbs everywhere, literal duct tape on some of the seats to hold them together. 50/50 whether your seat will recline or not. Some auditoriums are actually HOT - maybe they can't turn on the air conditioning? Screens are also sort of dim and dull, just like I expect from LOOK. I'm not sad that the Monrovia location closed down and this is the only LOOK I can come to. I'm sad that I have this annual subscription at all. I am trying to get my money's worth. read more

We watched Michael at Look Dine-In Cinemas Glendale for opening weekend and had a great time. There were about 30 of us that bought tickets to a Sundat matinee showing in Screen 1. We were there to support someone that worked on the film and Look was the perfect place for our group. We had seen another film as a group at Look a few years back but this one was on the other side of their property. The service was great, the picture quality was good, the sound was good not great and the reclining seats were comfortable. We enjoyed our time there supporting our friend. The movie going experience was a good one so we really dont have complaints. We would go back again. Not the most modern of movie theaters but it suited us just fine. Parking is validated for the structure across the street. Otherwise, there is some metered street parking and other pay lots a short walk away. Go see Michael the movie. Great job crew! read more

We went here last night and had a decent experience. We didn't order much food because it was pretty late, but the regular popcorn and drinks were fine. When I order "fresh" popcorn, I expect it to be at least a bit warm but this popcorn was pretty cold. It's still decent, but buttery popcorn is just not as tasty when it's cold. We thought it was interesting and unusual that there was no one checking our tickets to let us into the theater. You could basically just walk into the theater without showing any proof of ticket. The staff seemed pretty attentive but then again I didn't order much. We were allowed into the theater about 5 minutes before the showing, but it makes sense that they probably have more to clean due to more plates, cups, etc. The bathrooms were okay, missing toilet seat covers and low on toilet paper, but they reeked of urine. My husband mentioned the men's restroom being very dirty. Also, I would've preferred it to be a bit cooler in the theater. They definitely had AC but with the summer heat, it would be nice to keep it a little cooler in the theater. The seats are definitely a bit worn out and some have been taped, but they are reclining and still decent. Overall, I'm not sure if I would return here but it's really not as bad as the other reviews made it seem. Maybe it depends on the day? I'm not sure. read more

Came here for the first time on a weekday date night and had a really solid experience. The theater itself is clean, comfortable, and well set up the seating makes it easy to relax and actually enjoy the movie without feeling cramped. Service stood out. There was a small mix up with our order, but the staff handled it quickly and professionally fixed without any hassle, which says a lot. Food was excellent, especially for a dine-in theater. Everything came out fresh and well-timed with the movie, which made the whole experience feel seamless. The theater is pretty spacious. the seats are definitely on the older side and a bit worn down. Not the most modern feel, but they still get the job done at least the ones we had reclined perfectly, so no complaints there. On the bright side, the movie experience itself was solid. The image quality was great and the sound was really good!! We ordered chicken nachos, chicken tenders with fries, sweet potato fries, and two drinks, and the total came out to $78. So just a heads up--bring some money if you're planning to snack while watching your movie lol Overall, the staff was friendly and the experience was enjoyable despite the older seating. read more

I bought three LOOK Cinema annual passes late last year for the Redlands location. The theater closed suddenly, with no notice, before we could use the passes for their full term. I've contacted LOOK multiple times over the past several months to request a refund, but I still haven't received one. I also contacted the Glendale location for help and got no useful assistance. It's frustrating to pay for three annual passes, lose access when the location closes, and then spend months trying to get a refund with no resolution. OK, it's true that the seats are worn, other than that, my experience was fine. I really like the seats, they are big and soft, and you can recline. It's also nice that you can order food and drinks (even alcohol) right at the kiosk, at the same time you buy your movie ticket. I had the loaded fries and they were good! Be sure to get your parking ticket validated and you will only pay $1. All staff were nice and helpful. I look forward to going here for all my movie viewing in the future. read more

I LOVE this place because every year in December they offer their unlimited movie pass for $99. The fiancé and I love getting it because it's good at all 3 locations near us (Monrovia, Glendale, Downey). There are plenty of theaters and they have a good selection of movies, plus they have mystery movies which might get you to see something you wouldn't have initially picked. You can also order food/drinks and they have a few combo deals that are reasonably priced. That said, not all theaters and seats are made equal. Most of their recliners are super beat up and hardly have any of the leather still on them. It's all been chipped off. But they recline and in the dark I try and forget what the place looks like with the lights on lol. But seriously, all 3 locations need some serious chair upgrades and/or restoration. Bathrooms are also a hit or miss. They tend to be pretty gnarly so I try and avoid them. read more

This theater is conveniently located in Burbank off of Brand Avenue. 90 minutes of free parking across the street. Our theater was located downstairs which was dark. It had recliner seats which was nice. The have a full menu of drinks, cocktails, shakes, popcorn but entrees which includes a smashburger and fries! It was nice to order on the phone and have it delivered to your seat except when customers are seated to the right of you! Twice servers walked in front of me to deliver drinks then food. Interrupted the movie twice! :( The bathroom was a mess! Dirty and stinky! The whole theater is dark so you cannot see how dirty it is! read more

Went to go see Resident Evil 7:10pm showing last night. After 30 minutes of being in the theater my heart started racing, sweating the feeling like I was going to faint, like oxygen was being taken out of the room!! I was seconds from fainting there i was almost running to the door. Something is not right. When I walked out other people were asking if anyone felt weird in there. We all immediately said yes. Something was going on!! We were being poisoned in there!! We started getting towards the main theater door when we saw the manager we quickly told him he needed to immediately evacuate everyone!! Then someone overheard him say on a walkie signaled there was a Carbon Dioxide/Monoxide leak!! I dont know what happened after. I hope they evacuated the whole theater. We had to go to the ER last night cause I continued to feel unwell, I couldn't breath!! My chest hurt and I could not take full breaths. I later found out thats how they kill pigs and chickens. It is the absolute scariest feeling in the world! We were close to death!! read more

Ive had decent experience here but today I was a bit disgusted. I saw a roach just walking across the bottom floor seating area. I would've taken a photo but it quickly went across the other side. Also, no one had cleaned our seats prior to the movie so we had to move the left over food to the side so we can sit because the movie was starting. Please do better. read more

This place used to be great, but has gone downhill. I've seen three movies in theater 3 in the past 18 months, and the sound system has been defective all three times. Each time I have let them know what's wrong (I mix movies for a living so I know what I'm talking about), and each time they say they'lll look into it, and nothing happens. My advice to anyone who sees a film in there is to complain that the left screen tweeter (high frequency) speaker is out, and ask for your money back. They clearly don't care about quality. Also it takes such a long time to get drinks, I had to get up and ask where they were, so I missed part of the movie anyway. Staff are very nice, though. read more

Absolutely horrible. We came here for a dine in experience for our daughter to enjoy as her own treat. The food and drinks were about $200 dollars spent and it arrived all cold. It was not as pictured in there online catalog or even what was shown at the ordering kiosks or menus. The popcorn was stale. The jalepeno flavor we got for us adults was gross and soggy there was only 3 slices of jalepeno inside. It's like they just dumped juice on top and threw in whatever they had in the kitchen. The nacho cheese sauce had chunks of tomato inside and plastic. Yeah, there was Plastic inside the sauce. The churros were hard so my kid couldn't eat them. The burgers were decent however they poured that same nacho cheese all over it and it took away the good flavors with that weird nacho medicine melted crayon taste. The fries were the part that we tried to get through because we were hungry. The sweet tea we ordered was not regular sweet tea it tastes like watered down grapefruit and jasmine flowers. It was chemical tasting. My daughter wanted mozzarella sticks and they came rock hard and cold. The food was awful for almost 200 dollars! The lobby was pretty when we came in I was like wow how awesome, but when we got into the auditorium the seats had food and napkins popcorn and trash on the seats and floor still. I was a manager for another well known theater so seeing this let me know the staff isn't doing their job at all. I kindly asked for staff to come wipe down our seats and trays to which she saw the mess and said oh geez okay yeah yeah let me come back and wipe it down. Our original seats had nacho cheese on the seat part and the arm rests so of course we're NOT sitting down. We were waiting for 15 minutes for them to come clean it. in we decide to move to another row since there is no one to else in the auditorium to watch the movie . When we moved, we saw that row also still had trash and sticky trays of spilled icee drinks from whoever previously sat there. She came in and started spraying the cleaning solutions on the trays with no warning and sprayed my husbands shorts which caused bleach spots now. She sprayed over the drinks which I hurried to grab my daughters but couldn't get my cup in time. That was very upsetting because why wouldn't you say something and let me move my food/drinks first?? Also hello?? Spray the rag away from guests faces ?? We already spent so much and traveled hours away to come here and see this and make it special for our daughter so we stayed through the movie entirely. When we were leaving there were roaches everywhere and a random centipede looking worm on the staircase. The trash cans were overfilled and the restrooms were so bad! The only good experience was when we first got there and sat at Millegra's bar. After that, we used the restrooms. There were homeless people squatting in both bathrooms. Trash was everywhere, lights were flickering like a scary movie, two urinals were covered with garbage bags. When we got into the theatre, it's very hot. Air was just...stagnant, without airflow. When the flick came on, the audio and video equipment felt like it's slipping behind the average "premium formats" we're used to. I'm not going back, it feels like they abandoned this place. read more

Sad that they closed the one in Monrovia, bummer to have to travel 30 mins longer for a movie to use up my pass that I bought. Parking across from the movie theater even with validation had to pay, movie wasn't too long, and we didn't go anywhere but from the theater to our car. They have two sides of the theater so make sure you check your ticket. Then you have to scan your ticket and give them a print out. Movie theater is more up to date than Monrovia but the bottom of the theater didn't have lights on so it was fun to travel through the dark lol read more

I've been coming to this movie theater for years and always enjoy the experience but this review is specifically about the restaurant. Tonight, I decided to skip ordering from my seat and instead went directly to the restaurant, thinking it would be quicker. Big mistake. I placed my order with a red-haired woman with a neck tattoo: a pizza, a quesadilla, two fountain drinks, & last minute a kids' chicken tenders meal. The total came out to $68, which didn't make sense. Upon reviewing the receipt, I noticed she charged me full price instead of a kids' meal. If adults aren't allowed to order kids meals, that's fine, just say that. Instead of offering a refund or adjusting the order, she gave me alternative kids meal options to choose from... still at full price. That's not what I asked for. On top of that, her attitude was cold and dismissive. As someone who works in the service industry, I was shocked at the lack of customer service and emotional intelligence. It felt like she just didn't care. Also my friend and I ordered two regular fountain drinks, yet somehow we were handed two kid-sized cups? Make it make sense. I didn't want to escalate the situation, especially since she was clearly avoiding me when I tried to get her attention. Another employee saw me standing there and didn't even bother to ask if I needed help. If I come back it'll be for the movies, but I'll definitely be skipping the restaurant moving forward. read more

We used to love this place - convenient parking, recliner chairs and nice food and drinks with friendly service. Now, this place needs a serious refurbishment. Our faux leather seats were run down to the bare thread. Even if you are willing to ignore this, the food is getting worse every time we go and I was willing to forgive and allow them to recover from Covid. Sound & image quality was nice - and other than others we did not experience any technical issues (but broken bathrooms and flickering lights outside the cinemas itself). Yesterday we went with four, ordered four quesadillas - got two pizzas - and there were only eight people in the entire cinema and only us in our row. The water tasted as if it was taken from a pool, my friend's Long Island Ice Tea was horrible - the worst I ever tasted. I do not think we will go again. Should we do, we will certainly no longer order food or drinks. I am so sorry, but reading the other reviews, I see the end coming. I would for sure not dare to invest in their $99 watch-all-movies-for-a-year-offer anymore. I doubt they will survive the year. A shame really. read more

Nothing much to add other than I tried the Mirabella Restaurant, and was very pleasantly suprised. It's a nice modern environment, and the Latin themed cuisine was excellent, and reasonably priced. We tried the empanadas and flautas, and they were perfectly prepared. Will certainly be returning soon. read more

It was our first time at this location and wasn't sure where to park because GPS took us to the back side. We finally figured it out and parked at the structure. The theater does validate parking, but we still had to pay $1. There are two separate buildings, kind of strange. We walked through the bar since it eas the first one we saw. We thought the actual theater was located there, but we had to exit that building and go next door. As soon as you enter they scan your tickets and give you the menus. You have to go down the stairs/elevator to get to the specified theater #. We chose the middle seats of the last row. Once I saw those seats I didn't really want to sit there anymore. They look old, have significant wear and tear, and the leather is all scratched up. It made me feel like there's no maintenance/cleaning to keep the theater in good shape. Not all the seats are like that, it's mostly the middle ones. But it would be nice if they fixed up the seats. Definitely would look better and make it look clean. As for food, we ordered the lemon pepper wings. They were nice and crispy....but ridiculously salty. It comes with 6 pieces and fries. We chose the crinkle cut fries and they were also super crispy. At least those weren't as salty. This location wouldn't be my first option, but if I'm ever in the area maybe I'll stop by. read more

This one would probably be shut down just like Redlands if it were not for the Mirabella Cocina partnership. This place is pretty expensive for food, but the food is good enough; they forget things occasionally and the people at the front are actually not needed any more from my perspective since they do not do anything but stand there and validate parking. They put vinyl covers over the old seat coverings and that was pretty good. Saw a roach on my bag in the other seat next to me. Didn't let all the other people in my party know but shook my bag once I saw it when walking out. read more

This was my first time at a LOOK location, and I watched Last Breath in PX (Premium Experience). The massive screen made for an immersive viewing experience--while I'm not sure if it's as big as IMAX, it definitely felt engaging. The image was crisp, and the sound quality was sharp. The luxury reclining chairs come with heating, cooling for beverages, and a built-in light. The food was decent, and I recommend ordering with a server to avoid the app's convenience fee. Tuesday movie discounts are a great deal, and the theater wasn't crowded. (24/100) read more

Have been coming to there Glendale Look since Monrovia closed as my friends and I had just purchased the Infinity pass for the year as we have done for three last 3 or 4 years. I have never been a fan of the food there overpriced, boring, and just not high quality, though the popcorn is more reasonable than most places. I have too say, that there 20% off that is included in the infinity pass makes it a bit better. Their fudge brownie Sundae is delish! Their recently opened Mirabella restaurant is really good!!! You can eat there instead and bring your leftovers and drinks into the theater. Seats are worn and occasionally don't function right, but the staff had always been sweet. Love the location... easy to access... cheap, convenient parking ( get your parking ticket validated and 4 hrs. Is only $1. Lots of other dining options nearby as well as some nice shopping. The drive from the Monrovia area is a breeze and we have frequently buzzed over to do lunch and a matinee... great way to escape the heat or rain. So glad that they were able to survive and take in the orphans from the Monrovia location. Love the staff at this theater! read more

I've been here quite a bit since I leave walking distance, but today was by far the WORST experience I've ever had going to the movies. My movie is at 10:10pm, it is currently 10:15pm and the theatre is filthy, not cleaned yet. I arrived at 9:30pm, checked in and found the theatre dirty so I asked for a manager and was told that someone would clean it within 15minutes..here we are, a group of us standing outside waiting in the halls. I keep giving this place a chance but today will be the last time I'm here, takes forever to get food order when it comes it's completely cold. I ordered mozzarella sticks for my daughter. The cheese came frozen solid in it. I requested initially to see the server. It took about 30 minutes for the server to show up. Then I was told if I want anything else I can order online. I ordered a single scoop of ice cream, after 30 mins of waiting I got up and went to get it myself. It's just not worth it, food is not good, service is not good. Where to begin? So the seats are good in the sense that they're big and they recline (they recline for the legs and also the headrest), but they were all torn up. It was really unacceptable that every single chair was so torn up that I felt uncomfortable to sit down (almost turned around and walked out of the theater before the movie even started). We had good service, everyone was nice, but when we had the service button on, only our server would come (even though a couple other servers passed by us, they just ignored it). We ordered three entrées, one beer, and candy. We got our 3 entrees within 20 minutes which was great, but after another 20 minutes we had to ask where the beer was, and after another 20 minutes after that, we had to ask where the candy was. You can order through the app, which apparently has additional fees and automatic 20% gratuity, or you can order through a server and pay whatever gratuity you see fit. The fact that we prepaid for everything with our server, it was a bit disappointing she forgot a couple of our items. They have a big menu, but it's just all so unhealthy. I got the only decently healthy option which was basically a burrito bowl. Was it edible? Yes. Was it great? No. I only ate half of it. I could get one 10x better at chipotle for half the price, or make one at home 10x better (no exaggeration). It had cilantro lime rice that tasted like it was made two days ago, and the meat was very dry and not great quality. The cheeseburger quesadilla was so heavy and then meat in that it was just I don't even know how many days these ingredients I've been sitting there kind of thing you know. Surprisingly the nachos were very good. Fortunately the movie was wonderful, but safe to say this was the first and the last time coming here. iPic is 10x better and so is my living room. read more

So friends, here is my 3rd review of the LOOK DINE-In Cinemas in Glendale, Ca. It's a very Heavy Task to attend a theater full of people All Ordering at the same time and All Feeling like they are special. A Venue Keeper is supposed to make Everyone feel special if they'd like renewed patronage. The LOOK DINE-In Cinemas work very Hard at making everyone feel Special. I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it and these folks made me feel amazing tonight watching F1. There were so many attendants moving about to attend to everyone and they did it very well. I ordered the Bacon Smash Burger with Truffle Fries. Delicious!!! No Joking. Really Good Burger. I watched Mission Impossible here, the 007s, here. Not sure if ownership has changed but these folks running this place make it worth a visit. Park across from the theater and it's $1 with Validation. The food itself was brought out on time, but our soft drinks arrived more than halfway into the movie, which defeats the purpose of a dine-in theater experience. The seats are also getting noticeably worse, and the restrooms that are currently open are dirty and poorly maintained. While you now have digital kiosks, the overall service and customer experience have not improved at all. On top of that, an automatic 18% surcharge has been added to all food orders, which feels unjustified given the decline in service and facility conditions. Please address these issues.
