Dropped in to catch the new Ape movie right before matinee showings ended. I think we got tickets for the last showing. We got there with about 10 minutes to spare before showing started so we hit the concession for some goodies. Frank was super helpful and did such a great job explaining the options that we ended up getting things we didn't plan to get. Specifically the icee with tajin. Yooooooo that was a hit. It was so good. So good. Very much worth the purchase that I almost got another one on our way out. The facilities were clean. Our area was tidy and the seat was comfortable after reclining. Place is definitely outdated, but when you can get to the movie for less than half the price of the surrounding theaters, it's definitely worth it. Best thing about this place is all movies on Sundays are $5. *Pro Tip - even if you purchase tickets online, get to the theater early. They do not have any separate line to check people in who previously purchased tickets. Found that out the hard way. You have to wait in the same line as everyone else. In summation: 4 Stars for the exceptional customer service experience. Very friendly staff. Went to see the movie "Alien: Romulus" at the 1:20pm showing on a HOT Monday afternoon (9/9/24). Box office was closed upon approaching the building. The sign on the door said to purchase tickets inside. We went in, There was one person at the concession stand. Bought both our tickets and snacks at the same time. Friendly service. Hot fresh popcorn was served. No real complaint. Just that the theater seemed so deserted. Inside the auditorium, we were the only people for the showing. Movie presentation went without a hitch. Used the restroom after the movie. It's clean. I hope the theater is busier on the weekends. Don't want to lose this theater due to lack of attendance. This theater has very reasonable ticket prices. Could use a refresh/remodel of the auditorium to include recliner seats. Be careful of the deadlines on Regency Rewards. We were just told that the 12/12/24 date on the free movie means you must use it BEFORE that date. Last day is actually 12/11/24. Apparently it expires midnight 12/12/24. I wonder how many people have been tricked by this. I've been going to this theatre for over 40 years and it's actually the closest theatre now to us. Very dissapointing that they could not accommodate. So we'll just pay full price for 4 tickets elsewhere instead of 3 full price at this theatre. It's a great movie theater if you're on a budget. This day was not a good day they--they had only one cashier who was also selling food and snacks besides dispensing actual movie theaters. But other times I was there it was much quicker. Not the greatest of amenities, but then again, this is a budget theater, and their credit, selections are usually very good and they have new releases on a regular basis. What I don't like about movie theaters in general is how they overcharge for popcorn and drinks, and this place unfortunately is no exception. I would definitely give it a try, for a first date or if you're just trying to have some alone time and some fun with it. Many pluses: it's conveniently located in a humongous strip mall with plenty of parking and a lot of food options right next to it for before or after your movie of choice. There is plenty of parking in the main plaza lot and also an extra mini lot for the theater. Great chance to eat at any of the restaurants outside then head in for a showing. Although, since this location is a little slower, when I last visited the ICEE machine hadn't been making icees and needed time to restart. :( read more

Whenever in the area this is the movie theatre I frequent. Being a Pasadena girl, I appreciate that general admission tickets here are under $10 per person (much more affordable than Arclight), today two adults and one child were $21. Yes, the theatre quality (picture and sound) is not as good but the price is more than fair. The location is large and clean. They also carry typical movie concessions with some less expensive options (hot dogs, kids tray). Customer service is mediocre and on the occasions that I have been here it's never too crowded. They recently started the pick your seat when purchasing a ticket which is nice. There is always parking since it's in a shopping center but sometimes you have to park a bit further if busy. The shopping center location is nice with many restaurants and store to visit before or afterward. I will continue to come back to this theatre when in the area! read more

My boyfriend and I came to this theater to see Avengers: Endgame. We waited in line for 10 minutes, and when we were at the front of the line, this old white woman told us my boyfriend couldn't bring in his skateboard. He asked why and if there was a place he could leave it, and she just said no. She didn't even apologize. I looked at him and said we should just leave. We obviously can't watch the movie, since skateboards aren't allowed. And this movie theater is NUTS if it thinks we are going to ditch a $100+ skateboard for a $30 movie we can watch somewhere else. Skateboarding is a method of transportation. My boyfriend road the skateboard to the theater. We were having a good day, until that older woman told us we couldn't watch a movie because we had a skateboard with us. That's really not fair; what is he going to do, grind on the chairs? Skate in the theater? Do a wall ride on the screen? We have taken a skateboard with us to other movie theaters such as Regal Cinemas, AMC, the Laemmle, AND the ArcLight, and NONE has ever told us we couldn't bring a skateboard in. This place blows. I would rather spend more money at the ArcLight to watch movies than waste a dime here. This is why we won't support our local theater anymore. Cons: no reclining chairs and the staff seemed miserable same tbh also the main bathrooms were upstairs and since we were the only people there I used the disable bathroom.
