    Regal Valencia

I wish there was a regal up in the Antelope Valley but this is the one I frequent the most and I…read moregotta say.... IMO it's one of the best in SoCal. It's very clean and no matter how big or small the crowd from the prior movie they are going in and making the sweep to ensure it's ready for the next showing. It's a nice size theater not too big but not small and it does have IMAX although I don't believe this one has RPX ( Regal Premium Experience). The thing I like the most about this location is the quality seating and picture/ sound that's delivered. I've been to some locations ( and different brands) where things seem like they may not be calibrated correctly or the technology needs an update. The seats here are superior to any other theater I've been to. The recline/pitch and the plushness ( not too soft or firm). My only negative about Regal and this is a general brand issue not this particular location although I will add it for visibility. The cost/benefits of the Regal Unlimited monthly subscription need to be revisited and adjusted. As someone who currently has all 3 of the major unlimited monthly memberships in SoCal ( AMC, Cinemark & Regal) there's things ya'll are doing better and worst. 1) remove the booking fee's in the app. 2) Upgrades to premium formats are not only too expensive in my opinion but other brands don't charge at all. 3) continue to keep the total movies truly unlimited. ( not 3-4 weekly like AMC). Keep up the great work Valencia Regal!

They are reclinable and have a little table to eat (love that) we went to a later screening so it was not too busy. My little one went back out in the middle of the movie to grab another drink , he took quite a while. Came back and said staff was to busy talking they wouldn't pay attention to me in line make sure to yelp mom ;)

Stoney Point Haunt - Front display of a graveyard coming alive with clowns on a Carousel celebrating the dark side

    Stoney Point Haunt

This Halloween home haunt is an atmospheric joy. The night we visited was perfect- a cool autumn…read morenight with clouds moving slowly across a mad eye moon. The house itself is perfectly nestled in what I imagined could be a quiet New England neighborhood. As you approach, you see the silhouettes of gravestones through fog and spooky green and purple lighting. Calliope music and a child's soft voice wafts towards you and you catch movement in the graveyard. Coming closer you see the "child" and you clearly hear her cautioning you. The front yard is used to great advantage as it curves around the house, with such attention to detail, from the skeletons on their eternal carousel ride, complete with the creepy ear worm worthy circus music, the ornaments on the tree, and an actual child (the haunter's daughter) surreally caps the display by meandering around the graves before heading to the tree swing to play in the cemetary. The front porch transports you to an episode out of the Twilight Zone. A cadaverous mother rocks her dead child to sleep under an antique lamp, near a broken TV while an old clock's hands spin out of time in a wash of blue light. There is also a sound activated knive-wielding masked nurse that is offering COVID tests. Which is easily the scariest part of this 2020 Halloween season.

Tonight was a great turnout with several people loving the haunt. Around every corner you'll be…read morescared to move forward. Short but worth it, you can re-enter as much as you want, if of course you make it out like Jimmy
