Nina Herzog singing lead, backed by the Ladd McIntosh Big Band
Evan W.

Came to Post 507 for Big Band Night and had a great time. It's a small venue, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. The bartender had a great personality and poured a stiff drink for a very modest price. Folks in the outer room were playing pool, watching a game on TV, snacking on pizza, and generally having a great time. Inside the event space, Ladd McIntosh's Big Band was playing at the top of its game, swinging and soloing like the best of them. The set list was an interesting mix of standards from the Great American Songbook, and original compositions by Ladd from his long and storied career. Guest vocalist, Nina Herzog, has a voice that somehow manages to be both bright and warm at the same time, giving a much appreciated, energetic jolt to well-known songs that might otherwise slide by unnoticed. Ms. Herzog did just 4 numbers across the evening, and I think we all would have welcomed several more. As an elder statesman, McIntosh is a genial host, and his origin stories about the songs work nicely in an almost-educational way. But one has to wonder what kind of greater entertainment value would be found by letting Herzog control the crowd for longer periods of the night. In fact, in the future, McIntosh might look to divide the evening differently: playing instrumental arrangements in the first set, and then having Herzog headline the 2nd set. She's an excellent singer with a winning personality, and the band backs her perfectly... building the evening this way would allow both singer and band to shine even brighter, and bring the evening to a much grander and memorable conclusion. While I was visiting for the big band sound, the calendar at Post 507 shows a variety of acts doing live music of many genres, and you'd do well to stop in for a drink, a chat and some good times.

A place for Veteran's and Enlisted Military Personnel to get together for a good time. Families may also become members of the Legion. The beer is cheaper than anywhere around and the mixed drinks are mixed perfect at a low cost as well. If you were in the Military or are Currently in the service (any branch), walk in to apply to be a member. This is also an amazing place to be able to volunteer your time in the community. I love it here as my dad Carl Beatley will always be remembered here as he was the Commander for 2 terms and recently Past 9/9/10.

Well just letting the community know this place certainly rocks. Open mic jams on the second and fourth Sunday's of the month!!! 5-10PM

This is a place I call home and have for many years. Everyone is like family and if you're new, it…read morewon't take long for you to get that sense of unity with the people and this particular post. It's a place where Veterans, active military and their families and friends come together for great food, cheap drinks, parties, bbq, holidays, events and celebrations of all kind. It is open daily from 9-10 and stays open later on the weekends. There is a calendar of events every month and it doesn't get boring. It's a great place for younger and older folks alike. There is something for just about everyday of the week. Whether it's Monday night Thursday night football w inexpensive food & drinks, or regular Wednesday with homemade lunches that are so delicious , Taco Tuesdays (on hold during football season), or the awesome Sunday breakfasts, like I said there is something for just about everyday and all very reasonably priced with friendly and warm environment. It can also be rented out for outdoor or indoor events. It is a little hard to find the first time as it sits back on a long driveway, but if you look up you can't miss the American flag. So join us and have some fun and support the Veteran's. let them know your a visitor and soon you will want to be part of this family. If you are not in this area check out your local VFW post. Each one has their own unique quality! Cheers to you and to our Vets :)

Really beautiful event space! Went in this past weekend for the wedding expo! Location was great,…read morebut there was no parking and there was only very little vendors (like 10 max). We were looking for the last couple vendors for our wedding next year, but did not find what we needed. Regardless, this is a great little location if anyone is thinking of doing their wedding in Santa's Clarita

I wrote this review on The Knot but I wanted to share it on Yelp too :)…read more My (now) husband and I had the PERFECT DAY at Hart and Main. We highly recommend this venue to all our friends and family who are planning on getting married. The venue is more of an intimate yet accommodating size and convenient if you are planning on having both the ceremony and reception in the same location. Highlights that we loved: 1. There is an upstairs bar that we still get compliments about from our guests! 2. The bridal and grooms suite are beautifully decorated. 3. The bar services provided exactly what we wanted for our guests to have a great experience. We also added on the champagne wall. So unique and a nice touch. 4. The natural beauty of the venue made it so that we could focus on high quality flowers rather than feeling like we needed to decorate everything ourselves. As a plant lover, the plant wall is STUNNING. 5. We wanted our pup to share our day and they are dog friendly! The most important thing for us was that we booked a vendor that would be responsive and be able to provide us with a buildable package. Hart and Main was able to provide just that! Special thank you to Jordan and Mike for the warm hospitality and help making our day absolutely perfect!
