We highly recommend this venue to all our friends and family who are planning on getting married. The venue is more of an intimate yet accommodating size and convenient if you are planning on having both the ceremony and reception in the same location. Highlights that we loved: 1. There is an upstairs bar that we still get compliments about from our guests! 2. The bridal and grooms suite are beautifully decorated. 3. The bar services provided exactly what we wanted for our guests to have a great experience. We also added on the champagne wall. So unique and a nice touch. 4. The natural beauty of the venue made it so that we could focus on high quality flowers rather than feeling like we needed to decorate everything ourselves. As a plant lover, the plant wall is STUNNING. 5. We wanted our pup to share our day and they are dog friendly! The most important thing for us was that we booked a vendor that would be responsive and be able to provide us with a buildable package. Hart and Main was able to provide just that! It was a very important milestone for our family, and the venue itself is beautiful. I believe in giving credit where it's due. However, I also feel a responsibility to be honest and transparent about our experience so that others are fully informed before making such an important decision. From the beginning, communication seemed positive. Elena presented herself as understanding and supportive, and we were reassured that she and her team would be present to ensure everything ran smoothly on the day of the event. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. As the event approached--and especially on the day of--the level of professionalism declined significantly. Elena and her staff became extremely difficult to work with, and the tone shifted to one that felt unprofessional, dismissive, and at times confrontational. What initially felt like a supportive partnership quickly turned into a stressful and overwhelming experience. There were several organizational issues that added unnecessary stress. Despite providing vendor information well in advance, we were contacted the day before the event requesting additional details, leaving us to handle last-minute coordination ourselves. Two of the tables were not placed where they were supposed to be, which caused confusion during setup. Our designer had a difficult time arranging the table numbers because she was following the seating chart provided by the venue manager, but it did not match how the tables were actually set up. Additionally, the plates we personally purchased were never given to the catering team, which created further complications. Another concern was with our musicians, who traveled all the way from Las Vegas. They arrived an hour early but were asked to leave and return at 3 PM for setup. This was extremely inconvenient, especially considering the distance they traveled. During the event, multiple instances of inappropriate conduct occurred. Our vendors were spoken to disrespectfully and, at times, yelled at instead of being communicated with professionally. Our guests were also impacted. Some were reprimanded for arriving early, told how to drive, and in one instance, a guest was physically pushed. This behavior was not only unacceptable but also deeply embarrassing for our family. There were also key details that were never communicated in advance--such as guests needing to retrieve champagne for the toast themselves rather than it being served--taking away from a meaningful and planned moment. To make matters worse, at the end of the night, all of our party favors were thrown away without anyone asking us. These were items we had carefully selected and paid for, and discarding them without our knowledge or consent was extremely upsetting. Better communication and organization by Elena would have made a significant difference in ensuring a smoother and less stressful event. This was meant to be a once-in-a-lifetime celebration for my niece. Instead, it was overshadowed by poor communication, lack of organization, and unprofessional conduct. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this venue unless there are significant improvements in professionalism, communication, and client care. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously so that no other family has to go through what we experienced on such an important day.

We went with the "Hole-in-One" package, and it was hands down one of the best decisions we made. The quality, flavor, and presentation were all amazing, and we received so many compliments from our guests throughout the night. It wasn't just typical wedding food--it was genuinely delicious, and you could tell a lot of care went into every detail. What meant the most to us was how well taken care of everyone felt. Our guests were comfortable, happy, and till this day telling us it's the best wedding they ever attended and how great everything was--from the service to the food to the overall experience. Pam, Sales Director - Private Events, and Laura, Private Event Services Manager, were truly one of the best teams I have ever worked with. I've been organizing banquets and events for many years at a variety of venues, and they stand out at the very top. They were professional, responsive, detail oriented, and genuinely invested in making our event special. Their communication was excellent from start to finish, and they anticipated needs before we even had to ask. They truly elevated our banquet to another level for our deserving coaches, families, and players. Amanda, the banquet captain, and her team also did an amazing job the night of the event. They were attentive, organized, and kept everything running smoothly. The room looked beautiful, service was seamless, and the entire evening felt polished and well executed. The food was also really good, which honestly can be a question mark when you're serving a large buffet to a huge crowd. You just never know what the quality will be like in those situations. The Oaks Club absolutely delivered. The food was fresh, well prepared, and plentiful, and we received many compliments from the guests. That said, I do want to share one concern. Another sports team from our school, which does not have a booster club and therefore must process payments through the school district and school account, ran into an issue during the contracting process. Instead of the club's legal counsel contacting the school district directly to discuss his concerns, he chose to insert his own revised verbiage into the contract. Understandably, the school district was not comfortable with those changes, and unfortunately the banquet arrangements fell through as a result. The team then had to scramble to find another location that would sign the contract according to district requirements. It was disappointing, especially since this could have likely been resolved through direct communication. Ultimately, it felt like a big loss for The Oaks Club on a weekday night over what seemed to be a few negotiable wording adjustments. If the legal counsel hopes to bring in future business from local high school teams, he needs to figure out a smoother process for these contract situations. While our event itself was a success and we're very grateful to Pam, Laura, Amanda, and the entire team for their efforts, I hope future situations involving school issued payments are handled with clearer communication and collaboration with the appropriate parties. Cellular service is almost nonexistent here, I have T-Mobile and I had 0 bar for Cellular and mobile network. There no pavement road here so you'll be driving on dirt road going up to the place and there no destinated parking spots. Hopefully you'll have someone to help coordinate the parking so they'll be enough room to park cars and also exit. The event space is big, the wedding was able to fit around 200 people. They have a dance area, a bar and a covered area so you can put food there. There also no bathroom here unless you bring a Potter potty or a bathroom trailer which they had here.

Just a few months before our event, the venue canceled on us, stating that the city was shutting them down. What makes this even more upsetting is that I had recently called to confirm our date, and I was told we had nothing to worry about. To then receive a cancellation shortly after that reassurance was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. Because of this last minute cancellation, we are now at risk of losing deposits with other vendors we had already secured. Planning an event takes months of coordination, contracts, and financial commitments. Their sudden cancellation has caused significant stress. What was most disappointing was the cold and careless way this was handled. There was no real warning, no accountability, and no effort to help us navigate the situation they created. I would not recommend booking this venue. When planning an important event, reliability and honest communication are critical and unfortunately, we did not receive either.
