It is a dance studio for kids, not an Olympic competition center. Let them dance with Joy, not with stress.

They're heavy on texting which is fine with me. I ask a question, they're quick to respond. The staff are friendly too. They offer a variety of lessons. They want to celebrate your child (birthday, accomplishment, award, etc.) which is nice. As for the value, I think we're getting our time and money's worth. I think no matter where you go, time and money will be spent, but it's the quality and attentiveness that matters and so far I'm seeing that for my son.

We have been going to the Christmas Show put on put the extremely talented Haugh Performing Artists…read morefor many years now. My brother-in-law buys these tickets A YEAR IN ADVANCE. He is a little obsessed with Christmas and the Citrus College Theater but why not?? The theater is beautiful and comfortable, complete with a symphony pit that rises up and down. It is a beautifully modern building with its entrance flanked by a couple vertical mosaic tile "pictures" of trees, one of which is my cell screen saver I liked it so much. See picture. The production is about 2 hours plus about a 15 minute intermission, not too long, not too short. And the intermission breaks the show into two parts, the choir and bells performance of the Citrus Singers first followed by the year's Christmas play complete with appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus. I'm a 52 year old man and I thought I'd never say this but the choir and bells performances are wonderful. Maybe I'm getting old! No, seriously, they performers are fantastic and I absolutely love how the director and his assistant (?) vary the songs ever year with new and creative arrangements. They even did a mashup kind of thing with overplaying verses of two classic Christmas songs. It is truly amazing how the performers remember all the nuances and keep up with zero .mistakes year after year. My absolute favorite part of the first part of the show is when the director adds some comedy into the mix and has the new performers overemphasize their lack of experience and how the senior performers are rather blasé about giving yet another performance year after year. Come on, that's funny! Oh, and how one performer sits and waits to play her one bell note. Okay, it's cute. I also like how they've added some very creative percussionists and dancers at the end of the first half, too. This year's play is called "Christmas is..." and as I type, you've got 3 days left to see it! It is a very cute and creative play involving performers playing various candy bars you know and love as the plot thickens in the Land of Candy. I will leave it at that so as not to give too much away. Again, the length of each performance is perfect because I tend to get antsy. My kids (13 & 16) also loved it and look forward to the play every year. Tickets range from a very reasonable $17-$35 and I think you'd have a good seat anywhere although my BIL always chooses the front or 2nd rows. We also went to see a Rock Band do cover songs back in February this year and it was also great and you can see that my son absolutely loved every second of it. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND for some near professional quality theater.

We had front row and everything about the evening was perfect. The venue is located on the campus of Citrus College (Glendora). Pretty typical of a venue...clean, spacious, welcoming staff and I saw that there is very generous legroom between each row so you're not packed in like sardines. Each row seemed a bit stacked so sightlines are also good. I would say it holds 1000+ patrons. Tip: free parking if your show is an official part of their calendar! It seems that they do have some well-known performers from time- to-time. I would definitely return to this lovely local venue!

The non discriminatory culture, emphasis on equality, fairness throughout (to kids and staff), and empowerment skills taught and demonstrated to our children, are undeniable. Thank you TBE for your contributions to our youth!!! Keep up the great work

We are fortunate to have a place like Top Billing Entertainment (TBE), where children can learn,…read moreperform, and be part of a community centered around the arts. My child genuinely enjoys the classes, and I have seen regular improvements in her movement, confidence, and performance. I am giving TBE a 3-star rating because I believe there are two significant areas for improvement. 1. Organization and Communication TBE has an opportunity to become much more organized. On numerous occasions, classes have started late or instructors have arrived after the scheduled start time. There have also been times when instructors have needed to stop class to remember routines or choreography before continuing. While understandable from time to time, it happens often enough that it reduces the amount of instructional time the children receive. Communication is another area that could be improved. Most information is shared through the Band app, but it is cluttered and difficult to navigate. When parents ask questions, they are often directed back to the app instead of receiving a direct answer. I would much rather receive emails, similar to the clear communication TBE sends for summer camp. A portion of classes is also spent reviewing upcoming shows, participation requirements, deadlines, and other announcements. While these updates are important, much of this information is repeated week after week and could easily be communicated by email instead, allowing children to spend more time learning and practicing. The website could also be maintained better. Show tickets are sold online, but the website is not consistently updated, making it difficult to know when tickets are available. On several occasions, email links have directed parents to outdated or expired pages. Scheduling can be frustrating. Parents commit to a class schedule and plan around those times, only to have classes combined with another class, resulting in schedule changes. I understand that adjustments are sometimes necessary, but greater consistency and planning would be appreciated. Classroom capacity is another concern. Depending on what else is happening, too many children are sometimes placed into the smaller classroom, which has poor ventilation. It becomes crowded enough that children are unable to practice effectively, and even instructors have commented during class about how crowded the room is while asking students to simply do their best. 2. Pricing and Value I also believe TBE should reconsider parts of its pricing model. Parents already pay monthly tuition, purchase costumes, and buy tickets to attend performances. In addition, children are sometimes required to pay participation fees to perform in the shows themselves. As a nonprofit organization, I worry that these additional fees may unintentionally price some lower-income families out of participating. Ticket prices can also become expensive, especially after online service fees are added. Two tickets can easily cost between $50 and $90 depending on seating. Since many performances are held at the school, more family-friendly pricing would be appreciated. There are also occasions when students are required to wear a TBE shirt for an event. If a family doesn't already own one, they must purchase another item simply for their child to participate. One small thing that stood out to me is that if a child forgets to bring a water bottle, parents are required to purchase a $2 cup so their child can drink water. While the cost itself is minor, it feels like a missed opportunity to extend a simple courtesy. Considering the various fees families already pay, providing a complimentary cup would be a small gesture that demonstrates care and appreciation for the families who support the program. Despite these concerns, I remain grateful that a place like TBE exists. My child enjoys being part of the program, and I appreciate the opportunities it provides for children to grow through the performing arts. I am sharing these observations because I genuinely want to see TBE continue to grow and succeed. I hope this feedback encourages continued improvement and also helps parents who are considering the program better understand what to expect.

The studio space itself is incredible! The lobby is clean and organized, the dance floors are sprung which is the safest type of dance floor to prevent injury, there are observing glass window doors to watch the students in action, and music rooms to hold voice lessons. They have an amazing staff, who truly care about each and every student and are amazing teachers who teach many genres: Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop; along with singing and acting. Crescendo's annual showcase is the main event of the year. The showcase is very professional and includes professional lighting, sound, and tech. It is amazing to showcase the work done by the students in a performance that is well organized and ran like a professional show! Along with the showcase, the studio holds auditions for summer musicals. We have kids and adults from all areas come out to be apart of an amazing production. I am blessed to say I have been apart of every single production for over 10 years with Crescendo Theatrical Productions, including our last production of Little Mermaid where we sold out the last weekend of shows. If you are into theatre, come join us on our next adventure! Crescendo also has a singing group called the Berrytones ran by the owner and director of the studio, Tracy Berry, and a dance group called Chrysalis ran by Annie Jovellanos. They are the the living example of the studio's motto "Developing God-Given Talents". The studio is a non-profit studio, and these groups perform at many non-profit events like cancer walks, senior citizen homes, and various churches. They encompass the meaning of what it is to be apart of Crescendo by being a family performing in His name. What makes this studio so different from other studios is the atmosphere. We truly are a big loving family, who honor God through singing, theatre, and dancing. Crescendo is my second home, and the friendships and lifelong memories is worth every moment I have spent at this studio. This studio is my family and I thank my parents for putting me into classes at such a young age. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else except for Crescendo. If you are looking not only for an amazing studio, but a family, Crescendo Performing Arts is the best place to put your Children in. I love this place and I will NEVER EVER leave it...
