I took my 911 Turbo to get the battery replaced. Matt had one of the best customer services I have ever had...very polite, helpful, and pleasant. I usually replace the battery myself because I don't want a non-Porsche mechanic to work on my car due to some bad experiences. He offered to lend me the tools...I started to work on it...but then he ended up doing the work himself...great job...and did not charge for the work even though I offered to pay him. I can see why this place has all 5 star reviews. I know where I am going to get our other cars' batteries replaced. BTW, the battery that I replaced was installed in 2017...6 years ago. It was an Interstate MEGA-TRON PLUS which says it has 6 year performance. That is the longest I had a battery for any car. I don't drive that car much and I have it on battery tender most of the time...FYI and YMMV. read more

I live out in Fairfax and though I would take take a drive out to Chantilly to get my battery- when I called the Employee was so extremely helpful - and my battery was covered under warranty. Great customer service. I left feeling like this company invests a lot in their employees' education of batteries and battery systems and encourages them to impart their knowledge and passion to their customers. A manager here named Seymour explained to me how the battery, alternator, etc work and it helped me understand to the point that I didn't feel intimidated to work on my friend's car on my own and got it running without having to purchase a new battery. I never felt like I was getting a sales pitch (considering I didn't end up needing to purchase a battery, but the knowledge I left with is invaluable in my life and impressed upon me more value in the brand). It was also valuable to learn about the difference in warranty and available services related to buying an Interstate Battery from Costco vs buying directly from Interstate! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I was told by my dealership to find "a local Interstate Battery store" as I could get a better deal. What a gift to find the Manager Jake & Technician Joey at this location! I was given clear directions (directly behind Chantilly Expo Center), a price over the phone (it cost less), offered a seat (in an immaculate seating area) but I preferred to stay with my vehicle and ask (a lot of) questions to educate myself as a "single female." (Which is always a daunting task since I took Home Economics vs Auto Mechanics!) The cleanliness & organization of the work bay/warehouse & level of customer service far exceeded my expectations. I was given a clear explanation of all the testing, offered the results to take to the dealership and received the education I needed to ask questions regarding the brevity of my battery life in under 25 minutes- including installation! I recently found out that Interstate Batteries offers watch battery replacement for ten dollars. The Mall has been more costly for that service. Throughout the Pandemic, many of my quartz watch batteries died. I went to the Brookfield, Ct. store on Federal Road, and they have been great. Replaced many batteries for me, and the employees have been phenomenal. Much appreciated. I also got some Interstate branded AA batteries at a good price. Anxious to try them. read more
