I am very happy I found Pete and his team at Pro-Speed Autoworks.I was looking for a shop I could trust with my Torch Red C5 Z06 Corvette after a so called "Corvette Specialist" had scratched my hood, fenders, and front bumper installing a set of long tube headers. After speaking with Pete and sharing my past bad experience, he assured me they would treat the car with the same care and respect I would give it myself. So I scheduled an appointment to have the stock OEM leaf springs replaced with a set of Bilstein/Hyper Coil coilovers from LG Motorsports, the sway bars upgraded to a set of T1 class sway bars with adjustable end links, performance alignment, and the brakes upgraded with high carbon steel cryogenically treated stop tech rotors, stainless steel pistons for enhanced cooling, air ducts from the front connected directly to the front spindles, and Ferodo racing brake pads. The work was done on time, and on budget, and I could not be more pleased with the results of my car's upgrades. I participate in some weekend club high performance driving events that while technically not a "race" as they are not timed, we are all very competitive, and everyone is trying to be the fastest in their assigned run group. While my car had previously handled good and stopped pretty good with 200 tread ware Nitto NT05 street legal tires, now the car handles amazing, and stops plenty fine to be competitive with all the cars in my upper intermediate run group even though most of the cars in the group are now running racing compound tires. Great work was done on my 1967 mustang. i'm very pleased with the interior look, it really looks like new, but preserving the original look, excellent work! All the work done on the repair and restauration of the following was outstanding: body: repair/replace rusted cowl panels to eliminate water leak, front bumper, core support repair, windshield, reseal rear window glass, touch up misc rust spots, paint upper cowl interior: front seats will be recovered, replace carpet, sound deadener, headliner, kick panels, rear package tray, install steel divider panel between rear seat and trunk. electrical: replace battery/starter cables, starter solenoid, test charging system, retro stereo system installed to look like factory original but with modern sound and options (like ipod and cd hook up) drivetrain: complete tune up, rebuild carburetor. replace hoses & belts. brakes/suspension: completely replace the front and rear brakes to include master cylinder, all brake lines, and all new brake shoes, cylinders, and hardware. convert front manual drum brakes to power disc. steering components replaced, front & rear shocks replaced, front end alignment and four new tires. i'm extremely pleased with the work that pete and his team at pro-speed autoworks did, and am glad to recommend them to anyone that wants nothing but the best work to be performed on their cars. s. moody read more

I had them do work on multiple occasions on my '96 Bronco. They installed a lift kit and a full new brake system shortly after I bought it. They were in touch with me on parts and items it would need as work on 20 year old vehicles always turn into larger projects than when you start. They were honest about what could wait and what needed attention immediately. Pricing was very fair. I also had a water leak into the cab that was being caused by some small rust spots and cracking above the driver and passenger doors. Turns out it was an issue on these trucks, enough that Ford put out a service bulletin and repair kit for the issue. Being 20 years old, the kit was no longer available. Pete and the team was able to look up the old bulletin and fabricate the parts needed to repair the truck. In the end the work looked great and did the job. Again, took a little longer than expected initially, but they did a good job keeping me up to date and in the end busted their butts to get me the truck back earlier than they thought so I'd have it for the big '16 blizzard. Definitely would recommend them and they'll get more work on this project down the road. read more

I brought my 67 Camaro in to install a Tremec 6 speed transmission. Brian is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to knowledge of all cars and very helpful. My transmission work was complete but after I got it home, I realized there was an issue with the placement of my exhaust. I returned to Pro-Speed and they were beyond helpful in fixing the exhaust to perfection. Their mechanic Jeff was excellent and found an oil leak in my coil that I couldn't find. I thought it was from the transmission but he was able to locate it in the coil. They fixed this issue for me extremely fast and it was not part of my original work order with them. My transmission works perfectly and I'm totally impressed with the work and service I received. Jennifer and Pete, the owners, were very professional and accommodating . Searched around the area for good local and reputable mechanics and such. Found Pro Speed and spoke to Pete in which he answered any and all doubts I may have had. When searching for someone new in a new area to me, it really helps to know that Pete cares as much for your car as he does his own. His work and shop cleanliness tell all.. It is nice to know someone has pride in their work. Pete isn't someone trying to sell you anything. He listens and then analyzes and then interprets. I had a 3 in 1 leveling kit put on my truck as well as new tires and running boards and the job was done perfectly in a timely manner with every and all inspections done before I got on the road in my vehicle. From here on out, Pro Speed Autoworks will be working on my car for all normal routine maintenance and future upgrades. My son was going back to school and I knew his truck needed work done. I decided to ask Pete if he could look it over and let me know the damage. After careful inspection, we were faced with new tires, brakes, rotors and a few other items. I had a few bucks saved up so I decided to lift/level his 2002 Tundra, purchase new 33" tires and wheels. It didn't stop there. We then added nerf bars and a turneau cover for the back. Not only did we get the necessary equipment replaced but got a brand new look for the truck. This is the way Toyota should have built the truck. Next will be the Borla exhaust system. Pete kept us abreast of progress the entire time, his professionalism shines through and I have one happy son. The price was defiantly reasonable and it saved me a lot of money.
