Absolutely delicious from start to finish. We ordered the fettuccine with ragù bianco, the sformato di patate appetizer, cannoli, and the Jewish cake for dessert. The meat was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The Jewish cake was especially amazing -- definitely a must-try. The service is impeccable! The atmosphere is so cozy! There are a few stairs to walk down to get in if that is an issue for disabled people but they do have a handrail. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is professional, and the menu sticks to Roman classics done well. I had the carbonara cheesey, balanced, and made with quality ingredients. The pasta is prepared in a cheese wheel, it was dinner and entertainment. The carpaccio was also amazing, the beef was high quality and absolutely delicious. I would come back just for the carpaccio! Prices are fair considering the location and quality. It's well-prepared food in a nice environment. We were greeted warmly and seated . Everyone was friendly and attentive. They were so helpful with explaining the selections and portions so we could decide. My husband and I shared the cheesy pasta in the Parmesan bowl and a garden salad and my husband had the sirloin steak which came sizzling with spices and butter , I had some it was delicious ! We were so full I didn't get my tiramisu but I was able to get one to go for later that night. It was our favorite meal in Rome. read more

At first I thought it was called inferno, which I thought was rude considering they're located in the Vatican City. This place definitely hit the spot. We got past and steak. From the street you would not know that the establishment existed. Their business flow is strictly word of mouth. As you enter the establishment and proceed down the staircase the staff meets you warm and welcoming. As you look around you realize you are in the basement of a 200 plus old building that has been very elegantly refined. The arched ceilings supporting the structure above the elcoves act as wine caves. The crystal adorned the white tablecloths. The meat case displaying the finest of Italian beef carcass freshly aged waiting for the on staff butcher to cut your selection of beef to order. Two fingers, three fingers, thick! T-bone, Rib-eye, tomahawk, tenderloin, London broil, Black Angus you name it your favorite cut awaits your fine dining experience. The sides are amazing the wine list endless and desserts are decadently refined. Unfortunately we were full and had no room left inside our stomachs to sample or enjoy. So please if you are passing through Rome find your way to this amazing establishment. You certainly will not be disappointed. The food was truly authentic Tuscan Italian. This is not a place that will try to boost your ego or make you feel like a rockstar. The waiters have been there for a long time and will not entertain you. We had the Florentine Steak and it was delicious. It is only prepared medium rare. Our first dish was the linguine and clams. It was delicious. Traditionally your salad that you order will come out with the steak. Only 3 selections of wines to choose from by the glass. They do have an extensive bottle wine list. This was one of the 7 or so places our B&B host recommended around the Vatican area and I thought this one was the best place I tried. I had the sliced beef with pears and balsamic sauce (I think its called- Tagliata pere a aceto balsamico) and it was fabulous! The favor and texture of the dish was great! My friend also had some other steak dish and she enjoyed it too. The only dish that was sub-par was the Chicken Caesar Salad. The chicken was dry and there's barely any dressing on it, which I learned in Italy the salads here are very plain and simple. Overall, I'd go back just to eat their steaks/beef dishes. read more

Great steak house. Went here on a recommendation. Try the house wine its great. Ordered the t-bone steak. Starts off at 1kg over 2lbs of steak. Was just seasoned with salt and pepper. Tasted great. I think the desserts are made in house. The tiramisu was out of this world. The side dishes were flavorful. Had "chips" with cheese. Definitely recommend. I love this restaurant. I'd review it highly simply because of the service. However, I'm not too sure they know how to cook certain steaks. Just ask for medium cook as it comes out medium rare. The 45 euro steak I ordered was drizzled in olive oil which kind of ruined the taste. read more

And the meat is indeed delicious, especially if you like it rare (one of us asked for medium and got... rare). Interno 92 lives up to their reviews on Yelp as the best steakhouse in Rome and in my opinion Interno 92 may be one of the best steakhouses in the world! I read the Yelp reviews and viewed the photos of Interno 92 and said 'we have to try this restaurant and get a 1 kg ribeye'. Interno 92 did not disappoint, their steak is absolutely delicious. We arrived early before the restaurant opened as one Yelp reviewer recommended to get a table even though our taxi driver had a difficult time finding the restaurant but trust me if you are reading my review it's a restaurant worthy of a few drives around the block to find. We were seated at a rustic table, received a plate of delicious prosciutto with a liter of sparkling water, settled in and reviewed the menu listening to Aretha Franklin, Barry White, and James Brown prior to ordering the 1 kg ribeye steak and mixed green salad. The steak was delivered to our table sizzling on an hot iron skillet and the aroma was wonderful. The aroma of the sizzling steak combined with the first taste of the first slice of steak was so savory and delicious. We agreed that this was an adventure worth traversing across Rome to find Interno 92 and enjoy a delicious steak at a great steakhouse. read more

Even though the local girl said it was a good place I guess we'll never know..
