Gnochetti with tuna and pistachio
Muna T.

This is a lovely little place. Although it is very close to the Parthenon, we were encouraged by the cozy and quirky feel of the place. It is indeed a place where the food is well-sourced from local farms, including the wine and olive oil. We had the Burrata and prosciutto with truffle shavings- amazing! We also had lovely gnochetti with raw tuna, pistachios and basil- again amazing! This was the only memorable lunch we had during our stay in Rome. Definitely worth a try!

Fantastic dining experience. Small place down an alleyway with 6 table inside, and 3 outside. I simply loved it. Food was out of this world. Watched the guys in the kitchen cooking and having fun do so. This is a must go place if your in the area. We had dinner. We didn't have a reservation, which might have been a small problem, but it was only 8.00pm, and I promised to eat fast ! We were sat and never felt rushed.

Great lunch in Rome. Off the beaten path. Highly recommend. The owner is super friendly and the food was delicious. Last lunch in Rome and satisfied.

What a great experience! Lovely Italian restaurant with great flavors, great service, and if you're lucky you might get the staff to start a live music performance! YOU HAVE TO TRY THE HONEY TRUFFLE!!

A whole villa to cater to your every appetite, you can't help admiring the architecture of the place. And when you seat down, you find an interesting menu with plenty of options, some of which are bold enough that you can't pass. Prosciutto&olive-wrapped mozzarella, with grilled veggies? A bit too salty, as is expected when you cook ham, but tasty. I also enjoyed the mini-fried-calamari, the right size and quantity to open up the stomach without becoming overwhelming. Portions are not overly generous but prices are also very moderate, you're really tempted to order away and then share with the rest of the table. Unless you're in the mood for pizza, because that's the exception that confirms the rule: incredibly large but thin, with the classic crispy border you can expect from Roman cuisine. The entrees are probably a better choice, with both seafood and meat creations. My grilled and breaded squid was light and delicious. The service is fast, with a smart button to push when you need to call the waiter, and they accept credit cards, but not Amex. All in all, always a pleasant experience, but I do tend to enjoy the ambiance more than the food itself. Eating outside in the terrace with the good season is an experience in itself, and the fact that the bar is well stocked doesn't hurt either.
