Saturday Night: Food very good, regardless if they forgot one of our dinner meals. Ambience, excellent. Beautiful place. A/C? No, it was on, but the doors and windows were open. Service? God awful! Not attentive at all, no offer for dessert, coffee, anything. We weren't brought our drinks until the appetizers came out, no water, no wine etc. We were finished eating for 20 minutes before the waiter came back. My dad actually got up to grab another bottle of water for us!!! This place can be a gold mine. Maybe I'm missing something here? (6) people in the entire place on a Saturday night. Finally, we had to go to a restaurant around the corner for dessert, coffee and after dinner drinks. We would have gladly spent more time and had the above after dinner, but they simply did not know how to run a business and cater to their customers. read more

Thank you yelp and everyone for your recommendation! This was an Excellent hidden Restaurant! The ambiance was modern but the food was very authentic. Everything is cooked fresh and in open view. My husband ordered a steak dish which was cooked perfectly (medium rare). I ordered the carbonara which was rich and creamy (not to mention the bacon slices). We original planned to dine at the center piazza however, it was so crowded and over priced. This place is worth the little extra walk. The only I think could have been better would be wine prices/portions (6 euro for about 4 ounces). This was definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Italy! read more

This is a lovely little place. Although it is very close to the Parthenon, we were encouraged by the cozy and quirky feel of the place. It is indeed a place where the food is well-sourced from local farms, including the wine and olive oil. We had the Burrata and prosciutto with truffle shavings- amazing! We also had lovely gnochetti with raw tuna, pistachios and basil- again amazing! This was the only memorable lunch we had during our stay in Rome. Definitely worth a try! read more

Fantastic dining experience. Small place down an alleyway with 6 table inside, and 3 outside. I simply loved it. Food was out of this world. Watched the guys in the kitchen cooking and having fun do so. This is a must go place if your in the area. We had dinner. We didn't have a reservation, which might have been a small problem, but it was only 8.00pm, and I promised to eat fast ! We were sat and never felt rushed. read more

Highly recommend this to both students and families. Great quality food, prices, and staff. Got some very solid steak-frites with some high quality bread (for once) and local olive oil. After enjoying our food the restaurant staff LITERALLY took guitars off the wall and started to jam out. It's located away from the tourist traps although slightly hidden in an alley. This place is the absolutely perfect place for a snack before dinner - everything is locally sourced, and the owner's family actually makes a good portion of the food themselves. We ordered the large cheese & meat spread (25 euros) and bottle of the family's rose wine (15 euros) and could not have been happier. The portion was huge, and everything was just so incredibly delicious. The owner was very friendly, and even explained all the food and their sourcing information.
