This review is based on my mom's experience with this store, their employees, and their delivery process. She spent thousands of dollars on a couch, a bench, and other living room pieces. Her original delivery date was scheduled for mid-September/October for the couch and early November for the bench. It's now November, and she still doesn't have her couch -- and the bench has been delayed until December. The delivery team was supposed to bring the couch on Tuesday but claimed they couldn't find her house and simply left. After hours on hold and speaking to multiple employees who all gave different answers, she was told it would be delivered Thursday -- only to now be told next Monday. We're extremely disappointed. My mom even planned ahead -- we took back the couch she'd been borrowing from us on Monday, expecting her new one Tuesday. Now she'll be without a couch for a full week. That's unacceptable after spending this much money. I warned her about this store because of their terrible delivery reviews during Covid, but we were assured by an employee that those issues were in the past. Clearly, that's not true. For a store this expensive, the customer service and logistics are shockingly poor. You can easily find better quality furniture, lower prices, and far more reliable service elsewhere. Purchased the Jasper sectional in fall of 2021 for nearly $5000. Delivered 6 months later in 2022. Supposed to be under 10 year warranty. As of Jan 2024, the sofa is failing. Cushions are breaking down, fabric is stretched and pilling. It looks like an old sweater that's ready for the Goodwill bin. You could easily mistake it for an old budget sofa purchased for a fraction of the price decades ago. Except I paid $5000, and have only had it for 1.5 years. I reached out to see if they could do anything to help repair or replace the cushions. This is the response I received from the owner: "At the end of 2022, Interior Define, Inc. sold some of its business assets to a third-party buyer with experience in the industry. How is it possible that they are not responsible for honoring the 10 year warranty of the company THEY purchased? By purchasing this company, they also purchased the commitments made by this company. Failure to deliver goods or refund. Ordered a couch from Interior Define in Oct 2022 for delivery in February 2023. When I went to check the status of delivery in Feb, found that my order had been cancelled months ago and Interior Define never contacted me, and as of yet has yet to refund me the multiple thousands $$ we spent on couch + pillows. Filed a claim in March but still no response. 0/10 would never go back and would actively caution others from doing business here. read more

I don't know how a "company" like this is allowed to stay in business. Many orders were not fulfilled, including ours, for a living room set. They promised to refund the money, but never did. Then filed bankruptcy, and now in business under the same name. Run away from this place, or you'll end up donating your money to the executive team too. read more

UPDATE: This company literally stole all of our money. No couches and no refund. I would RUN in the opposite direction if you were even considering a purchase with this company. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They have the horrific customer service that refuses to respond to emails or calls. They do not meet timelines for delivery. So if you want your couch within a reasonable timeframe this is not the place to go. Their cancellation policy is basically to lose 50% of your money with no other options or response to sort out a 4 month timeline turned 8 month timeline. We were initially very impressed with the storefront and service we received in store. The bells and whistles of new storefront and the eager employees who were more than willing to take your money for orders. Then it all goes downhill and some. We ordered 2 dining chairs and waited 6 months to receive them. Since then, the experience has been a nightmare. Upon receiving the chairs, we noticed several defects and contacted customer service. They informed us it would take another 6 months to get the chairs replaced. So, we waited another 6 months. ONE YEAR later, the chairs arrived defective again. At this point, we decided we no longer wanted them and Interior Define's customer service representative (Milli) stated they would issue a refund. The chairs were picked up on 10/17/2022. Initially, she said the refund process was going to take 10-14 days. After not getting my refund for 3 weeks, I reached out again to Milli who then said they are in a backlog and refunds are being processed slower than usual. She re assured me my refund was in the queue and would be processed soon. A month later, still no refund. I reached out to the store and emailed Jenn our original sales representative bc I was not getting a response from Milli. Jenn indicated their accounting team is small and refunds are taking longer than usual. I received an email from Milli shortly after saying I'd be getting a link so I could input my bank information to receive my refund in 1-2 days. Sounded a little sketchy.. but ok. I NEVER got the link. Now, after a month and a half of back and forth since the initial conversation with Milli about getting my refund in 10-14 days- STILL NO REFUND. No link. No response. Radio silence. So, it was 10-14 days. Then it was going to be processed soon bc it's in the queue. Then it was, you're getting a link and the refund will be received in 1-2 days. Now- SILENCE. No response and NO ONE answers their customer service number. I would not recommend them at all based on our experience. I would highly suggest to stay away from them bc of lack of customer service, quality (or lack thereof) in their products and them stealing my $1200 they still have yet to refund back to me. Please note that the 5 star reviews are reviews of people who have not yet received their furniture, but had a good store experience. Having a great store experience is all good and great, but is pretty worthless when you never receive the furniture you picked out and configured. As others have mentioned we ordered a couch we were very excited about, only to never get it months and months after the promised date. What's even more disappointing is how little anyone at this company cares about this issue. There has been no communication reaching out from them, instead I check in every couple of months to see if there's any hope to get my furniture in the same calendar year as promised, and get vague answers that are barely apologetic. NOT exactly the service you'd expect at this price range (or ever, really). At this rate, I don't even know what to expect. Im so disappointed in this company. We bought a couch here at the end of 2021. Recieved it in Mar 2022. The quality is very poor. The cushions slide and become misshapen and lumpy within a day. When I complained I was told that there was nothing they could do because the company was sold and "The new buyer regretfully has no control over refunds, replacements, or other similar issues for orders placed prior to December 29, 2022." They did however offer to sell me new cushions for $1500. That's more than half of what we paid for the couch!! No way. I'm out of luck and must live with this thing. Great experience! Very attentive and friendly, made the process of ordering a new sectional fun and personal. We went in to check out all the different pieces and find something that is not only kid and pet friendly (3 kids, 2 cats, 1 dog!) but also stylish and comfortable. We ended up getting a custom sectional with machine washable (!!!) covers that is perfectly suited for our space. Jenn helped us pick out a great fabric with our needs in mind, helped us plan out the space and pick out something great for our family. Right after I ordered they assigned a rep to me and when I heard nothing about my couch status months into this process (and after the estimated delivery date) I reached out and it said the email address didn't exist. Star far far away. I ordered a "Quick Ship" item to be delivered in 5-7 weeks. It's been over 12 weeks and my order status is still "Preparing Your Order". No response on inquiries about my order from my customer support emails I made weeks ago (with their stated 7-10 day response time!). No response from my sales rep from my email or my phone message. No response from the chat function on their website after hours of letting it sit. That is until I selected the chat category of "Placing an Order" rather than "Existing Order". Someone got to me right away. They are happy to take your money with no expectation of delivering the product. I don't normally write negative reviews. Wish I would have seen these reviews months ago. We ordered a couch back in June 2022 and were promised that the couch would be delivered in 18 weeks. The showroom experience was fantastic and we were so excited about the couch that we ordered. But from there on it was a horrible experience. The communication was terrible and then in late December we got an email saying that it will more likely be in May of 2023 that our couch will be delivered. Just the other day we got a notice that the company is going bankrupt and likely we will not be getting our money back, nor our couch delivered. We are filing a claim to hopefully recoup some of our costs. We are beyond frustrated with the situation. Please don't order from this company. read more

I usually don't give people negative reviews but my shopping experience at Interior Define Seattle store was terrible that I even can't love the sofa we ordered anymore. Everything went well until I met the design expert. Our first appointment was not with her, which was a bit short due to the delay of the previous customer(one hour appointment became a 20 minutes appt), but it was fine. The second appointment was the first time we see the "designs" with this design expert. And the designs were just a couple of scratches of the sofa dimensions, no rendering nor anything I can vision it in the space. And the interesting thing is that she refused to share the dimensions of the sofa via email, I have no idea how that could be a secret. Not sure if this is the same for all her other customers, and if this is a rule at Interior define. I would love to know. She kind of pushed us to choose one of the designs she provided and started preparing the orders for us. I thought she was just organizing the order info and will send the quote/order draft to me just like other furniture stores. So I asked and she said, we are going to pay now. I understand the sales person would like the customers to pay ASAP, and since I did liked the sofa, plus I felt the pressure so I paid in the store. But I felt uncomfortable. After more thoughts, I canceled the order on the second day because I found there was an error in the order and I still want to leave me more time to think through the options. Then I told her about the cancellation and said I'd like to meet her again and hope she could provide mood boards to help me picture the sofa in my living room. So we paid again at the store(I thought we have to), same as the 1st paying procedure, no review with the order details. But this time I felt a bit better because I think I thought the options thoroughly. But the following emailing experience lead the entire purchasing experience to the worst situation. Since I didn't receive an email from her about the order details (with the customized sofa, you won't find the dimensions details online), so I sent emails asking questions about my order and didn't get any replies until I chat with an online customer service staff. I still haven't got an answer about the sofa dimensions as of now(5 or 6 emails shot out already). I just need it for my other rug or deco purchases. Now I'm pretty sure she ignores me intentionally. I saw a previous comment saying people in this store ignore the customer because of their color. I have that exact same feeling at least with this design expert. Awful experience, not a single person was willing to assist well. All the store people were ignoring us, even if I would stand next to them and will try to initiate a conversation. After wandering in the store for 15-20 min, I finally had a person who answered a few questions for me but while chatting on social media with half concentration. Drove for 3 hours to come to the showroom and place an order not knowing ID has been taking new orders and full payments but not delivering furniture since early this year. Thanks to their incredibly poor in store customer service we dodged the bullet. So, this star goes to Savannah who managed to drop us like a hot potato when another customer walked in despite the fact she was told we were there to order furniture and had an appointment. We waited and then walked out. Another shout out goes to Carly who replied to an email I sent requesting help with ordering furniture after fiasco with Savannah and who then ghosted me after I asked her for her availability to meet virtually. I wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing here. We bought a leather couch. It arrived early, looks beautiful, fits the room perfectly, and isn't broken. But it's not to the level of comfort we were promised. We were told it should soften up over the next 3 months (they have a 2 month return policy). They said "take the cushions off and jump on them." Hi tOrdered a Jason Wu sofa that took more than six months to receive. When it finally arrived in the US, the delivery men were very unprofessional. They stained and snagged the seat cushion. We have been waiting for the service repair crew to come out. Twice they said they would come and the didn't. They never notified us they weren't coming. After months of back-and-forth emails and phone calls, finally getting a response from an agent who promised to help, being offered an appeasement discount and a refund on my delivery which I've never received, I still don't have my $1700 chair and ottoman. Apparently, my order is finally sitting at the delivery warehouse in Kent, WA after months of sitting in a warehouse in L.A., and the store has told the delivery company to cancel my delivery twice even though the status says "delivery late February". No one will return my phone calls and emails. I'm astounded that the new company who took over doesn't want to protect its reputation and take care of past customers' orders. read more

I'm incredibly frustrated by Interior Define. Same as everyone else: placed my order in May knowing worst case scenario my couch would arrive in October, received great communication until August, and then all updates stopped for my order until I received a feeble email from their CEO saying it would come at the end of January but they will provide me no updates until then. Interior Define's attitude is that they are doing everything in their control to help their customers and that this is due to supply chain. This isn't the case as they've stopped paying vendors due to financial irresponsibility and are waiting for funding to continue production. I'm at a loss if I should keep my order as I've waited 7 months already or do a charge back with my credit card. To top that, they are running a massive sale right now knowing that thousands of orders since Spring are at a standstill. If they wanted to do right by their customers, they would extend the black friday 30% discount as a refund. Don't order from Interior Define. Their products are fine, but they rely on a completely inept subcontractor, Metropolitan Warehouse to deliver. I ordered a bench from ID, and expected it to be delivered June, 2022. That's 2022. Finally without any word from ID about the delay, they scheduled delivery in December. I traveled to Whidbey island to accept delivery. The delivery men didn't show up. They called after the fact to say they were running late. They rescheduled for early January. I traveled to Whidbey island again. They didn't show up but announced they would deliver the following week. They did not ask me if that was convenient for me, and I wasn't going to be there. I asked them to deliver instead to Seattle. They said they would need Interior Define to give permission to do that. I could not reach Interior Define (I was told the delivery wouldn't happen after when they were closed) so I arranged delivery Feb 14. They said they would deliver between 3 and 5 PM. I traveled to Whidbey island for trip number 3. They then said they would deliver by 7PM. Then I noticed on the tracking program on my phone that they had cancelled my delivery because it would be "too late". They DID NOT CONTACT ME TO TELL ME THIS. I called them, but the warehouse is closed, and they don't have the delivery driver's phone number and so they cannot reach anybody. The tracking program had tracked the truck to within a few hundred yards of my house. Now Metropolitan Warehouse says they need to reschedule for a 4th time. I'm going to cancel the order in the morning when Interior Define is up and running, and demand a refund for the bench. If they won't give it to me, I am going to go to court to get it.
