He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in understanding what we needed, and his recommendations felt thoughtful and honest rather than pushy. He took the time to carefully plan the optimal equipment placement throughout our house, and the entire project moved quickly and efficiently. The installation team was excellent as well. They were respectful of our home, kept everything tidy at the end of each day, and patched and painted the wall holes from the installation. They were also incredibly quiet and unobtrusive. There were times we practically forgot they were even working in the house. Once everything was finished, Aleksandr walked us through the system and made sure we understood how to use everything. We also compared quotes with another company, and Vrumix was not only more affordable, but also more thorough in what they recommended and delivered. It's rare to find a company that combines great technical knowledge, quality work, fair pricing, and genuinely good service. We're extremely happy with the result and would absolutely recommend Vrumix.

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a comprehensive internet and security system installs. He explained everything to me and showed a demo as well. I loved it. They did an entire low voltage wiring revamp for us and installed a network rack for our WiFi and whole house security cameras. I received a scheduled call within 24 hours. The next day, they had a very capable consultant named Sultanat who came to the house to review everything with us in great detail. After Sultanat scheduled it, the 3 person team showed up in a timely manner. They were very respectful of our home (wearing shoe covers, cleaning up after they came in) and went above and beyond to make the low voltage wiring work properly. It was not easy or clear how they'd ensure it was highly aesthetic. We'd had several folks come out before who said hiding the wiring couldn't be done, but they went the extra mile and made it happen. Thanks Wiztec!!

Drew was referred to me by the dealer, Super Circuits, as a Bay Area installer, and largely based…read moreon the reviews from this site, I decided to give him our business - for the first, and last time. Positives: when he actually did show up, he performed the installation thoroughly and made manual adjustments to all our exterior cameras until we had the desired field of view on each one. He also did a professional job neatly tacking all the camera cabling to the house. Camera system works very well, and he's a pleasant young guy - BUT... Negatives: 1. He no-showed us on the first appt.and it took multiple calls/emails/txts to reach him for a resked date. When he finally returned our call, he said the equipment hadn't arrived yet, but, apparently, didn't feel it was necessary to let us know that we didn't need to wait for him all morning. 2. One of the reasons we picked the system we did was because it came with a smartphone monitoring app that allows the homeowner to see what the cameras are seeing from any remote location with internet connectivity. While we can see what the cameras see when we're IN the house using the app, it does not connect to the DVR anywhere beyond wi-fi range of our house. I called him on FOUR times over the subsequent 6 weeks about this issue, and not only did he NOT return our calls, he did not offer a fix of any kind. The app, as it is, is completely useless to us. 3. Part of the deterrent value of any security system is the signage that lets people know that such a system is in use. He forgot the signs on the install date, and despite multiple attempts to request that he send them to us (as he'd promised to do before he left), he never returned our calls and we've never received any signs. 4. He billed our c/c before the work was completed. Bottom line: We did NOT get what we paid for. Drew is a competent, if unprofessional, technician that, as some other reviewers have commented, is spread too thin to do his work AND run a business. While I would certainly recommend the Alibi camera system to anyone, I would NOT and will not recommend General Pro Security to anyone.

He started with my home 10 years ago and did a terrible job AKA total hack job so I ended up taking him to court and we worked it out.. Stupid me ran into him again 3 years ago and ended up having him do my business cameras 3 years ago and his work quality got much better but he was very expensive but I gave him the job for he seemed eager to please me. I had everything in writing along with a 3 year warrenty on parts and labor along with support if any was needed. Well I needed some support and after 20 calls he finally half way answered my questions and I ended up figuring the rest out myself. I had a bad camera like a year ago and he refused to replace it until I showed him the contract and threatened court again, he finally fixed it after many calls. I still have like 6 months left on my warrenty now and he told me if anyone else touched my cameras my warrenty would be no good. I needed to add 6 cameras and he gave me a quote for 3900.00 and we negotiated it to 3500.00 then he changed his mind and insisted on the 3900.00. I Agreed to pay the higher quote as I was stuck although not comfortable at all working with him any longer. He did the install using 6 pixel cameras and cat 5 in which both are way out dated along with running bare cat 5 wire over 100 feet to feed a camera as all my other wires are in conduit. I went to inspect the job and told him that he could not run bare wire and demanded he put the wire in conduit and looked at his work for he drilled in the top of a waterproof box and made the hole to big and did not use proper fasteners and used bathroom caulking to seal the hole and just threw the 8 port switch in the box along with the electrical and left. It rained that day and I asked him to go back and reseal the box properly and to make sure all the equipment was dry. He said he did and I didn't trust him so I went out to inspect the box to see he did not reseal the box properly and the inside was all wet and condensation everywhere. I told him he did a terrible job and did not want to pay the balance until he fixed it properly. He told me if I didn't he would go tear out all the equipment and sent me nasty videos. I called the Police and they told me to pay him and sue him. I paid him and told him to go fix my box several times as he never did. He went on vacation and all the new cameras went down while he is currently on vacation as I contacted him and he told me I had to wait until March 6 when he gets back.... I told him he is f ing crazy to get someone out here now and he told me he is a one man show LOL wonder why?? I told him I was gonna have someone else come fix it and bill him. He agreed to reimburse me 200.00 for the service call. I had it fixed by a professional company that charged me 200.00 for the call and 150.00 to replace the 8 port that got wet along with fixing several of his cables that were not secure and flimsy n falling apart (See Pics of Marcos work of the box before and after it was properly done). I called Marco and he refused to pay for the guy to come out So were gonna take this whole thing to Judge Judy and see what she says!!! Do yourself A big favor n Stay Clear of this Man and his work for he is NOT a good person and his work is way way below Par!!!
