Xfinity kept telling me the "new" box was going to easily pump wifi through my whole house. It never worked and we had multiple dead spots in our house, where wifi never reached. We ended up trying several things, included a second network setup using Google Nest routers. That also didn't work great and we suffered for years. So finally got fed up, and I called BATH and told Ari what the issue was. He gave me a budget, which I bristled at, at first. Then he walked me through a likely fix, which involved a couple routers networked so that I had independent wifi running on both floors of the house but on the same network. The tech came by and was super nice, and walked me through what they were going to do. I was cautiously optimistic. When they were done? I almost cried at how well everything ran through my house. They even set me up so I had ethernet directly to my gaming PC, and direct into my TV and Xbox. I have not had a single issue since (beside Comcast caused outages), and have blazing fast wifi throughout the house (I pay for the gigaspeed Xfinity). I'm finally utilizing the speed as sold to me by Xfinity. Thanks so much BATH. I really appreciate it. I was super impressed with the emails, the invoices, techs being on time, and just the overall professionalism. It was worth the extra few bucks.

And I have to say, as someone who…read morehas worked in Tech and knows how Tech support is supposed to be done, these people are fantastic! I call in about my issue and get a ticket right away. They contact me and they are able to help me within an hours of initial contact! In my previous job, the Tech Support team was next-door and it often took them days to respond to any request. Sometimes I find them walking around working on something else and would go to them and say hey did you see my request and they would tell me to send it to someone else or do something else. So when I found out that there was an offsite group of people who are handling our Tech Support I was very concerned. I am no longer concerned! I would recommend them in their services to anyone who needs them! They have really good value for what they offer and I love the fact that they are local and co-op. At one point we were missing something and I came and met with someone who went to a store to buy a part to help us. I know for a fact that in my old school that never would've happened. And did I mention that the Tech Support department was next-door so I was amazed at how many times they needed equipment and then they had to go out and get it somewhere or order apart from San Jose, that was stuck in traffic for hours? It happened much more than it should have. They helped me to load programs onto my computer, they helped me set up printers so that I can print directly to them, they helped me when I was working at different locations to figure things out. And the Tech Support folks are so nice on the phone and in person. I know for a fact that if anyone is looking for Tech Support, I will definitely recommend them in their services because they are on it and they get things done and I really really appreciate this!

Years ago, we had an internal staff member do the run to save money. This time, boy am I glad we got professionals to help us out because I have no idea how we did it. The clerical and scheduling staff were courteous and fast to respond. We were provided a complimentary site survey to see if they could do the work for us and then provided a reasonable quote. The cabling had to run through a neighboring suite whose tenants are not often around, and Alternative Technologies was also incredibly flexible when I requested a last minute installation on a specific day when I knew the tenants would be able to provide access to their space. The telecom basement is not to be trifled with; the building itself is very old and it has a ton of wiring that is out of date and unused. There are creepy crawlspaces all the modern cabling needs to run through to get to the suites but it's not apparent which ones go where. Other vendors have taken one look and said they couldn't help us without even trying, which is why we did the installation ourselves before. Alternative Technologies was confident they could do their job and even said they've seen more complicated situations before. They brought that confidence to installation day and exceeded my expectations.
