Intelletrace is a telecom/network engineering company, by the way. They work on telecom systems, which is much of their bread and butter, but my experience with them is on the networking side. Don't take this to mean that networking is a sideline for them. My company is a data center. Our network connections are complicated, requiring redundancy and what is called BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) management. Intelletrace designed the network configuration, acquired the equipment, worked with the internet providers to bring up the circuits, and they now manage the day-to-day status of the network. For us, they are a critical part of our business infrastructure and we could not feel more confident. When working with Intelletrace, try to be humble. You may think you know a lot about networking, but even if you do, letting them have their heads to do the design and deployment will serve you best. You can use your expertise to vet their plans at which point you will see why I recommended letting them have control. They work on enterprise systems every day and they have seen what works and what does not. This is priceless experience that is hard to come by. Xfinity kept telling me the "new" box was going to easily pump wifi through my whole house. It never worked and we had multiple dead spots in our house, where wifi never reached. We ended up trying several things, included a second network setup using Google Nest routers. That also didn't work great and we suffered for years. So finally got fed up, and I called BATH and told Ari what the issue was. He gave me a budget, which I bristled at, at first. Then he walked me through a likely fix, which involved a couple routers networked so that I had independent wifi running on both floors of the house but on the same network. The tech came by and was super nice, and walked me through what they were going to do. I was cautiously optimistic. When they were done? I almost cried at how well everything ran through my house. They even set me up so I had ethernet directly to my gaming PC, and direct into my TV and Xbox. I have not had a single issue since (beside Comcast caused outages), and have blazing fast wifi throughout the house (I pay for the gigaspeed Xfinity). I'm finally utilizing the speed as sold to me by Xfinity. Thanks so much BATH. I really appreciate it. This week my connection started dropping at least 50% of packets. I called right away on Wednesday morning at 9am. They said the ONT needed to be replaced and that they would ship one out to me that day and that I should expect it the next day. I asked if I could pick it up, or any other option to not be down for a day and they said there wasn't. They shipped the ONT UPS Ground Saver from Santa Rosa, it won't be here until Friday at 9pm at the earliest so I called back twice and they said there was nothing they would do to help me. They also said that if the ONT doesn't resolve the issue I would have to wait for a tech appointment which would be another few days. --- Update: Sonic came through and dispatched a great technician, Guillermo, today who brought a new ONT and did extra work to make sure everything was working. I'm back online and very happy again.
