Not only were they considerate of the precautions during that time, the quality of work, attention to detail and overall professionalism surpassed my expectations. Emily was knowledgeable of various material types, pros and cons of each, and had reliable sources and suppliers for everything we needed. We had inspiration photos in mind for the general style of the bathrooms and she was able to guide us and provide recommendations on layouts and design that would look beautiful, but more importantly functional, for our family. Workmanship and build quality was great and has held up extremely well. Even now, years later, our bathrooms are in excellent condition with the timeless style and materials we enjoy every day. Thank you Emily and team! We are so grateful for your knowledge, expertise and guidance in home renovations. Highly recommend if you're looking for professionalism, guidance and quality workmanship in any kind of home remodel or rebuild.

Pricing was transparent and straightforward -- no surprises and no upselling, which we really appreciated. The craftsmanship truly stands out, especially the tile work. Simon at Sasco and his team did a great job on our small commercial building at a fair price…read more We had them replace some large support beams that had dry rot and replace two stairways. They did the work in record time and did such a good job cleaning up after themselves that I almost did not notice they had been there (other than everything looked brand new and freshly painted!) Simon has a masters degree in civil engineering, unlike most of the contractors that I have worked with in the past, and their estimation was very professional and accurate. When they came in on budget, we were thrilled. We are a small 14-owner office condo association, so that was much appreciated! I am sure they can handle very large commercial projects, but we were glad to have their capable group on our smaller project.

Simon was great to work with and he gave the project attention to detail that I wouldn't have even thought to look for. If a problem arose, he was quick to get it taken care of. My husband called him even on weekends and off hours when he needed to talk about an aspect of the project, and he was always available. I was confident he had our best interest in mind. We're incredibly pleased with the way our home looks now (on time and at budget) and I've already recommended Sasco to friends! Thanks.

Writing this review from the perspective of a buyer…read more Swenson Builders is the general contractor of the developer (The ADDRESS Company) that I purchased my property from. I closed on the property more than 1.5 years ago, and am privy to the multiple issues that I still go through resulting from the poor workmanship by Swenson Builders. New constructions have issues, it is a given. But this particular construction takes the cake (other home-buyers in my community will vouch for that). When you pay a hefty price for a home, you trust the builder to offer a premium product. These builders simply cheaped out on *everything*, and cut corners all over the place. For starters, they delayed delivering the home by 8 months, and never offered concrete time-lines along the process (extreme bad planning on their part; by comparison, Pulte constructions gave concrete timelines and delivered on time which came out ahead of what these clowns at Swenson Builders originally promised). This cost home-buyers a lot of money and valuable time. It was excruciatingly stressful dealing with the rogue developer from the ADDRESS company and this particular builder. Then, the finishes are very poorly done with unfinished work all over the place. The floors and walls are not adequately sound-proofed (they claim to have done the soundproofing to the bare-minimum, IIC50, but they qualify the construction as a luxury building and charge you a very hefty price for the 'luxury construction'??). Furthermore, there have been regular HVAC leaks and floor damage even before I closed on the home (same issues for other home-owners). It doesn't stop there. UMC has an extremely poor reputation as a utility management company (for years now). What does the contractor Swenson Builders do? Pick that exact same company for our utility management. 1.5 years later, we still struggle with ad-hoc hefty estimated bills from UMC, and the contractor remains unavailable (absconding) to address ANY of the issues that we've been going through, because of the sloppy work that was done on our homes. The stress that started 2 years ago working with these builders, still hasn't let up. Make no mistake. NEVER EVER give business to these unethical, unprofessional, incompetent builders. Also, DO NOT BUY homes built by Swenson Builders. The homes they build come with a litany of problems. My recommendation would be to stick with reputed national builders like Pulte. Pulte would have tackled the exact same problems in a far more professional and competent way. As far as Swenson Builders goes, they should be sued, fined heftily, and kicked out of business.
