I used to go to the summit location because it is closer to me but i am willing to go a little bit further for this location because their soft boiled eggs always come out perfect!!! Summit has been dropping the ball on their eggs the last 3 times i went there and so 3 strikes they're out in my book. The egg is VERY important to me, i get very upset when it isn't done right in my ramen, i want a nice soft rich egg yolk, when it is over cooked it just messes with my ramen flow and i almost wanna cry. They are very generous with the ingredients. Most ramen places only give you a half an egg and you need to pay extra for the full egg; I love that they give a full egg. They also give a thicker cut of pork belly than most other ramen places. The price is on par with the prices of most ramen bowls you can get around here. The next time I visited, I got the customizable sushi rice bowl and I've gotten that every time since! It is AMAZING! I always get the same thing and it never disappoints. I usually get two meats- shrimp tempura and spicy tuna...definitely worth the extra charge. Definitely fun to try different toppings and sauces that fit your taste. Look at their menu for what the burritos contain but if you like a more burrito-esque filling with crunchy lettuce and sauce get the American which is a classic. If you like more of a sushi-esque filling get the Edison! Also pictured is the JK Rowling fries which is probably the best kind of fries I've ever had! Very happy that a ramen place has finally opened in this area, and that it happens to be a delicious one! We ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen which was wonderful. The broth was flavorful and the noodles were very good (although I would prefer them to be a bit more al dente). We also got the pork and shrimp bao buns and they were soo good. They just opened so I understand things might still be a bit chaotic, but the restaurant seemed unorganized. I was confused upon entering about how to order, and to deliver your food to the table they just call out your name in the very loud and crowded restaurant. We had eaten the Ramen bowls last night. It was me and my kids as well as a friend and we all thought the bowls weren't that good. The broth had a very odd sweetness to it, it tasted almost artificial. There were way too many noodles although they were good. There was a good variety of vegetables but again everything tasted the same, the weird sweet flavor, you could not taste the vegetables themselves. And this morning my son woke up with diarrhea so we will not be going back there again. Plus, they did not have water which is standard at any restaurant. Sushi sadness. Planned to go to Orgreen but they were closed this Sunday so we tried this place. We ordered poke bowls with fresh salmon and one with spicy tuna. The salmon was coated in a neon orange dressing which made us wonder if it was really salmon and perhaps they were trying to create a salmon-color for the fish. We asked about it and were told it was made fresh that day and dressed. It didn't smell or taste bad but it didn't have that buttery salmon flavor either. The neon orange color was too much (why not just leave it naked?) . We also ordered extra protein - spicy tuna - it came out like a giant scoop of orange ice cream and had a cat food texture. I've had ramen here and a poke bowl. The ramen is okay - nothing amazing, but it does the job. I got a poke bowl to go today and it was the worst poke bowl I've ever had. First off, it was slathered in sauce, which completely overwhelmed everything. The fish was cut in strips, rather than squares, which also alters the actual concept of the dish. The combination of salmon, guacomole, rice, and strongly-pickled vegetables leaves nothing but heartburn in my stomach, rather than providing a well-balanced mix of textures and flavors. You guys have a good concept going, but you won't last long with subpar food. While the fish was extremely fresh, we felt that the rice to fish ratio was off in that more than half the bowl was just filled with rice. On another note, their rice is also mixed with vinegar as well. The toppings we got were good as well, but we felt that a lot of the choices (kimchi and oshinko) weren't a good fit for our bowls since it didn't really mesh well with everything else.
