Decent cookies but there was no comparison to Levain Chose the triple chocolate and the PB Cup. The texture was dry and though they were fresh out of the oven, it was like they had been drying out & not freshly baked Definitely liked the melty chocolate part but not so much the crumble / fall apart aspect
Came for a free cookie for the pj party. Really cool event. Got a warm doubly mint chocolate cookie with extra chocolate chips for the taking. Really kind service. The food Insomnia is always a 3 for me. Really basic cookie. But this place was so happy and good vibes, I gotta give a four. The cookie was warm and surprisingly good. Plus an extra free cookie? Need to bring someone a "little something" and you want to get a big bang for your buck...Bring a box of Insomnia Cookies! There's a store on 79th and Amsterdam and every night walking back to my hotel, the line is wrapped around the street. During Covid, they only allow one customer in at a time, and I appreciate that. The store is spotlessly clean and the the guy working was so nice. I had no clue so I asked him to put an assortment together for me. He made sure my cookies were piping hot and explained that this is what makes them so special and they are delivered late night, hot and fresh to dorm rooms and homes, across the country. Who knew this cardboard pizza box of fresh hot cookies has a huge "Cult like" following among anyone under the age of 30. My son convinced me to bring this to a friends one night and I was a bit hesitant since it came in the pizza box. As my husband and I were walking uptown and we noticed eyes staring at the pizza box! Arriving at my friends, her high school daughter was ecstatic when she took the box from me. I then started bringing boxes of these cookies to the doctors office, where we noticed the doctor rushed the boxes directly into his office, never to be shared with his staff! I gave a box to the doorman at the hotel I stayed at for a month, who thanked me every time I walked in. These aren't just cookies, these are a delicious, warm, sugary overload designed to put a smile on anyone's face!

That said I happened to be passing by, and decided to pop in too peek at their menu options. To my surprise they had brownies, blondies and brookies. Of course I went with the brookie and it did not disappoint. It came out warm, soft and gooey while maintaining its shape. The brookie wasn't too sweet. I honestly wished I had some milk or ice cream to go with it. Skip the cookies and try the brookie out during your next visit.
Another one of their locations as this chain is around the city. During the past few days of hot swampy weather I wanted a cold snack and when I saw they had new ice cream sandwiches I just had to indulge in the Blueberry Cobbler. Was pretty darn good and I wolfed it down while walking up the avenue. No pictures needed as it was a melting mess and I put my phone away for this treat. As with most this place is open late and is a tiny spot.

Fresh cookie! I got the confetti deluxe cookie and it tasted fresh out the oven. Because of that, the cookie was very soft in the middle, more than I prefer or like. The edges were crispy, which made a great texture. The cookie is on the sweeter side. The ice cream was also on the sweeter side because it contains cookies in it. Tasted like a good, reliable scoop of ice cream. Service was very fast. They have the cookies ready. Small store with limited seating, so best to get it to go!
I swear there is nothing better to lift a mood than the surprise delivery of a box full of cookies. They deliver from 12pm - 12:45am. So that's from a late breakfast to a midnight snack. And yes, coffee and cookies is breakfast. They arrived still warm and melty. Oatmeal raisin is my perennial favorite but I loved every cookie in the box. The mint chocolate chip tasted like a massive Thin Mint. So good. The cookies aren't unusually large but I mostly ate them in halves. Made it last longer. Even a couple days in some of the chocolate ones were still soft. I'm still cooped up but being cooped up with delicious cookies and coffee is no hardship. At all.
The cookies are super soft and melt in your mouth... love the s'mores, Oatmeal walnut, and salted caramel yum!!!
If you've just had a sumptuous meal at any of the nearby restaurants, come by here to order one of their deluxe cookies. These are the best cookies I have had. The cookies are almost the size of your face. They are served warm and ready to eat. They are open till 3am staying true to their namesake. Get here early, the line for their cookies can get crazy long. Run! Don't walk to get here!!
The idea of a cookie shop with milk is pretty cool. Who doesn't love cookies right ? Insomnia cookies is open pretty late and they have a variety of cookies to chose from. I don't think there's anything like amazing about the cookies but they are good. The cookies are great whenever someone wants sweets other than muffin, donuts , ice cream etc... they can warm them up for you and again they have chocolate and regular milk . There's never really a long line and service is pretty fast. They also do cakes which is actually great for birthdays. Delivery available and open until 3am The cookies are about 1-3$ but definitely worth it. They have a lot of options to satisfy your late night snack with your friends. This location in Amsterdam is near plenty of bars do you can get a cookie after your night out.

I used to order from Insomnia cookies via their app. It had been a while since I last ordered and my wife and daughter had a craving so I placed an order. They have apparently switched out their ice cream scoop with a melon baller because the two scoops I ordered fit in a small container (compared to how they used to come it was about 1/4 the ice cream). To be honest, for the amount of money I spent on three of us I felt cheated. The entire order fit in one of their small cookie boxes and a small paper bag with two small containers about 1.5 inches in height? I don't mind spending good money on quality. But Insomnia cookies are "acceptable" at best. Not the best cookies out there, but I order from them because they deliver late and fast. Delivery was fine. Arrived on time and the delivery person did his job efficiently. read more

Lately was keep craving for something sweet and today I was too. I was thinking about getting ice cream or cookies in the end I choose insomnia cookies. I have heard about insomnia cookies through a friend but never tried it until NOW. I got the 6 pack of cookies which was $11.25 I believe. I got snickerdoodle, double chocolate chunk, M&M, spicy hot cocoa ×2. I haven't tried my cookies yet but my friend got his deluxe triple chocolate chunk which he said it was SUPER SOFT and that he really liked it. I love cookies, if my friend liked his chocolate chunk cookie then I probably wouldn't be disappointed with my cookies that I have chosen. The store was pretty small which it doesn't have too many seatings. People just come in buy it and get out. They also sell ice cream along with milk. If the cookies I got was good will definitely keep returning for more. Overall it was a great experience with the person who was at the front taking my order. See you soon Happy Holiday. read more

This concept should be adopted in the DC area, better yet, in the NOVA area. Often times, a late night craving for cookies or anything sweet never gets filled. Rummaging through kitchen drawers for candy or old GS cookies is really not an option. While visiting friends, there was discussion for a late night delivery of cookies! My friends had been to the actual store front but had not experienced delivery. A quick online order, 30 minutes later, there was a delivery guy with a pizza-shaped box of 8 cookies! There was a special of 8 cookies for $8, plus $1 delivery fee, and a few dollars for tip. It was definitely quick and easy, and the cookies were warm. We ordered one of each variety, and enjoyed the toll-house type cookies best. The peanut butter was tasty but the macadamia ones didn't really taste as fresh. read more

I have to thank this place for their over insensitive, rude service. How can they talk to customers in such a disgusting way? Okay, this shop is small just like any other insomnia cookies. There's not much room to stand inside and their cookies on display are only by the counter. This is our first time coming here. How do you expect us to know exactly what we want from a mile away, when there was a group of people just in front of us, blocking the cookies? The girl gave us less than 10 seconds to decide and told us to step aside (with no room there). It wasn't even asked or spoken in a nice manner. She could have easily said, "excuse me, can you please step aside so the lady behind you can order?" (In which, she didn't know what the heck she wanted either. So, she also had to stand and look. Same amount of time as us. Good job.) But no, she practically yelled at us to step aside. Nonetheless, their cookies are still good, hence the 2 stars. If this review was just based on customer service, they'd get negatives from me. There are other insomnia cookies in the city, I'd visit the others next time. Never coming to this location again, save me the trouble. read more
The selling point of Insomnia Cookies is the delivery till 3am and late night hours. Personally, I think you can find a better cookie in NYC, but this place is relatively cheap- $2 a cookie compared to $4 at Levain. The store front here is super tiny so be aware that there may not be a place for you to sit down and enjoy your treats. We stopped in and got a BOGO cookie for National Chocolate Chip Cookie day which was advertised on social media so be sure to follow in order to find out about seasonal deals. read more
all I can say "me love cookies" The white chocolate macadamia cookies are my food crack.... My friend is love with the double chocolate mint chip cookie and trust me she bothers me to go from Brooklyn to you guys. Open until 3am we have a problem.... Four stars for fast service, good chocolate chip cookies, and perfectly paired vanilla and cookie dough ice cream. My feedback is for the gentleman at the call center that took my order -- he was not friendly and was inaccurate about the driver not being able to deliver to my hotel room! Please work on that. Otherwise, the driver's customer service was very cheery professional! Thanks for a sweet ending to the night. read more

I passed by this store late at night and I was really craving for something sweet. When I saw the signage I was sold! Got a few cookies and some milk. I thought the size of their cookies was not consistent; some were significantly larger than others. I got very small cookies. They were good because they were soft and warm but nothing special. They were super sweet and buttery. I suppose since they are open until 3am, if I have a craving for sweets late at night I would go back. read more

Bigfoodie got the classic chocolate chuck and me littlefoodie got the chocolate mint. They were delightful. It fulfilled our sugar crave. It was freshly baked, nice and warm. We were glad they stay open till 3am because best believe we would be needing those cookies read more
"M-eh i've experienced better" says it all. I only came here for some sugar before work. I read a review saying these cookies are only a buck and was disappointed when my peanut butter cookie rang up as $1.25. The cookie is kept warm which is lovely. But there's nothing special about it. This was honestly so disappointing...first the cookies were supposed to arrive between 9:40-10pm....the cookies finally arrived 10:50....also there motto is "fresh, warm cookies delivered to your door" when they finally got here after two separate calls to costumer service they were soooo cold!!! My first time at insomnia. Ordered the mini chocolate chunks for friends. Just opened in front of them and I am embarrassed. Are these for real or a joke?
