Disappointed!!! I asked my friend to get me a dozen of donuts at this place. And he brought me not even the mini donuts but some sort of donut rings if we can call them this way (see the photos with a pills container to understand the real size of the "donuts") $13 for this?! I should've listened to my friend and get a dozen donuts at Dunkin. read more

Doughnuttery - $13 for this?! - Donuts Near Me - New York, New York

Doughnuttery at the Plaza Hotel WAS my favorite of their locations. Due to the pandemic the food court closed. If you visit this Underground Market make sure you visit Doughnuttery! I did get to have the delicious mini donuts recently. The only other location I'm familiar with besides this one is the one in Chelsea. I'm going back to visit there soon. I'm spending more time in that neighborhood too. For those of you that are not familiar Doughnuttery makes mini donuts in lots of delicious flavors. I'm recommending you try them. It's hard to eat just one. I'd show you more but I'm not sure what happened to my review and photos of this business page. I'm a fan. read more

Located in Chelsea market, this is a great stop for finding something Sweet to compliment your meal. Ordered 6 mini donuts and they all came out hot and fresh. There's a variety of flavors to choose from and i settled on an apple cinnamon flavor and cookies and cream. Both were great and I had a hard time sharing these lovely doughnuts! read more

I got 12 different donuts for $10.99. These donuts are fried, closer to zeppoles, pretty small. I liked chorizo-like topping, but in general I'd say they were pretty forgettable and I wouldn't get them again. read more

These type of mini donuts are slowly becoming my new obsession! I'm so glad I decided to try this place, I smelt the donuts as soon we walked by and was drawn in! They had many different flavors and options. I went with 12 so I could try some of each. My order was: 2 apple cider, 2 sugar, 2 cinnamon sugar, 2 chocolate glaze & 2 vanilla glaze (both glazed with sprinkles) yum! My absolute favorite was the cinnamon sugar. It complimented the fried dough soooo well. Second favorite was the vanilla glaze. Our service was great- cashiers were smiling and helpful.. and patient as it took me a while to decide which I wanted because there were so many amazing options! The only thing that disappointed me was that they were all placed in a bag, I was hoping to get a box so it wasn't super messy and also so that I could get good photos (I did mention I was a food blogger) by the time I started eating them, a lot of the glaze was all over the bag and barely on the donuts so that hurt my soul a bit haha but they were still delicious! I also paid for Nutella dipping sauce but was given plain chocolate.... Not really a complaint bc who doesn't like chocolate haha, just was craving some Nutella and didn't get it, but overall- this spot is amazing and I highly recommend it!!! read more

The donuts here are great for a small get together, but I'd direct them towards people with particular preferences. Firstly, I really appreciated the large selection of flavors. It certainly isn't your average catalog: they offer a lot of combinations that you wouldn't expect on a donut which makes it very intriguing. However, the product is a bit underwhelming. The donuts certainly taste great, but the taste itself is very limited. The main thing that distinguishes the donuts of various flavors is the sugar sprinkle used on each plain donut. I ordered cinnamon, bam berry, pumpkin pie, fruity cereal, and speckled strawberry donuts and the cinnamon donuts were the one with the most flavor out of the selection (which was expected since the cinnamon sugar is the premise of the taste as a whole). The donuts are also freshly made, which is a huge plus. Overall, I'd recommend but I do think that a bit more diversity is due for the various flavors available. read more

I love this place it's Inside a mall in the actual train stop. But don't judge these doughnuts are everything. So good make right in front of you. My favorite flavor is apple cider but all the flavors are amazing. I usually get the box of 25 and get all flavors. read more

The dough buttery primary serves donuts and hot chocolate. When I went the card machine was down which wasn't a huge problem but a minor inconvenience. The hot chocolate was very yummy especially with the whip cream and rainbow sprinkles on top! Perfect for dipping and watching people ice skate in Bryant park. read more

Doughnuttery is absolutely wonderful. They make mini donuts to order right in front of you. The donuts are soft and delicious, and they are rolled in flavored sugar of your choosing (there's a menu of at least 10 or 15 different types you can choose). The staff is super friendly, and they're located behind a bunch of plastic barriers and wear masks to comply with Covid safety regulations. Highly recommend! read more

I'm not sure why this place is rated so low.. I don't know what can be wrong about warm, crispy, fresh doughnuts that are full of flavor. I love them plain or with the cardamom sugar which is my favorite. Don't miss out on this place! read more

The mini donuts were a lot smaller than I expected. I had ordered for pickup and they looked bigger in photos. They're much more like munchkins to me. They can be on the pricey side, as I got 6 for $6, i.e., $1 per mini donut. I was slightly disappointed there were only 2 flavors to choose from for the 6 for 6, as I had wanted to try more of their flavors. I got the urban monkey and bam berry. The flavors are really subtle, as in you almost can't taste them. They weren't too sweet as well, which was a plus for me. Overall, it's a decent first time experience but not one I would continue to go to. read more

Freshly made. Flower Power (hibiscus, honey, rose) was very nice. Discovered them at the Winter Market in Bryant Park.

Agree with the other reviews, the doughnuts were a bit pricey for its size. The unique part of the place is how you're able to choose your flavors. I got the 12 for $12 and was able to choose from 4 flavors. The most interesting one was house of cardamom, the must overrated one purple pig which had no hint of bacon. read more

This is for delivery only. I ordered the 6 mini donuts. You can try two flavors. I chose Pumpkin Pie Brûlée and Cinnamon Sugar. The Pumpkin Pie Brûlée was said to have Pumpkin, Graham Cracker, caramel iced sugar and spices. I did taste pumpkin but didn't taste spices. They were soft and yummy anyway! I would order them again. The cinnamon sugar donut was DELICIOUS. It's Vietnamese cinnamon. Soft and yummy. Bite size and prices aren't bad. My only complaint is that delivery is $6. So if I wasn't at work, I would just go there and order them for next time. If you want yummy donuts, this is a good spot! Order was delivered quick and it was correct. Cute packaging! read more

These mini donuts are delicious but way too expensive for their size. The minimum you can buy is 6 for $6 making it $1 a pop for bite sized donuts. I liked that they have a ton of flavors to choose from. When you buy 6 you're allowed to choose 2 so I went with the coco loco (had cocoa and coconut but I couldn't taste the latter at all), and the cinnamon sugar. I thought the coco loco would be dipped but was sadly surprised to see it was just covered in sugar and cocoa powder. I also got the beer caramel dipping sauce ($1) which was good but tasted like regular caramel to me. You can see how they make the donuts right on the spot, I was hoping I would get some warm ones but they were cold. If you're into donuts I say try them for the sake of trying them or perhaps if you're around the area, I wouldn't go out of my way to do so though. read more

Awful and super greasy and oily. The place and the donuts looked interesting so I was excited to have some. Got them to go and by the time I arrived at my destination, about 3 blocks away, there was soooooo much grease and oil that it leaked/seeped through the bag and onto my backpack, onto everything around it causing a big mess! WTH! And the donuts were inedible and gross. Employees are totally unhelpful and was hard to get to speak with a manager. So, even though I routinely pass their shop, they have lost my business (which is so stupid to lose my business when this issue could have easily been dealt with.) read more

All the flavors sound amazing, but in reality these tiny donuts barely taste like any of the flavors because they're just rolled around in different combinations of powder, most of which are predominantly sugar. It's not that they taste bad; they're actually warm and fried nicely, but you can find much better-tasting donuts elsewhere. Other than having very underwhelming flavors, these donuts are miniscule. They're $1 each, which is so unreasonable since they're even smaller than the pop'ems you see at the grocery store. Save your money and avoid this place unless you *really* crave donuts. read more

I don't really understand all the negative reviews here. Doughnuttery was great for me! They make them right in front of customers. Mine were still hot! And delicious. And not greasy. And chock full of flavor. This place would make me gain 100 pounds, if I lived closer! And that's a good thing! read more

These little doughnuts are really good and addicting. They make them fresh right in front of you which is awesome, only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the price. They're good but not at $1 for a bite size doughnut. I wanted to bring some for my coworkers but I don't like them thaaat much. I had the cinnamon sugar one and the PB&J one. They tasted almost the same. They're all just different flavored sugar that they're rolled in. It's good but not super distinct. read more

Long time donut lover here, The donuts here are fresh and unique. They do sugar powdered cake mini donuts, so don't expect a yeast, cream filled or jelly filled donuts or other styles. They are lightly crisp in every bite, landing about 1.25$ each, but discounted by the half dozen. I enjoyed it very much, I'd recommend to try if you're touring New York. Only nut, was me, for buying these 6.00 Mini Donuts. I was craving something sweet so decided to splurge and try something new. Looking like a cute delicious concept. With three people working there, I would have thought the process would be quick, but I waited a long time, with no communication from the staff. Finally I asked if I was standing in the right area one staff member told me I had to order them first. I told him I already ordered and paid, and then he told me to keep waiting because he messed the donuts he just made. I was in a hurry and said can you give me donuts under the hot plate thinking they were probably recently made but they were stale and crusty. Bad decision. read more

Strongly disagree that Dunkin Munchkins are similar: the donuts here are fluffier, with less of the cakey heft of most generic donut fare. Where Doughnuttery really excels is that it's wonderful to bring into the office: unlike full size donuts, they're just the right size for light grazing, and come with plenty of variety that each bite is interesting. The presentation is gorgeous, and is far more interesting than straight-up buckets of donuts. And the staff here prepare the boxes pretty quickly, perfect for hustling through from the subway station up to your work. My main critique: the donuts aren't as moist as they could be. Whether through fillings, or changing your dough, @Doughnuttery a little moisture would go a long way towards the 5th star. read more

The fresh made donuts are a nice touch, and recently opened at Turnstyle Columbus Circle. You have to order a minimum of 6 donuts ($1 each). They have a variety of flavored powders. I got the Flower Power and Green Tea Buzz. The donuts are super tiny and I downed each of them in one bite. For the experience, I would try it once. Definitely not worth the price. The Flower Power was tart and sweet, while the Green Tea Buzz wasn't too overpowering. These would make for a nice gift, but I wouldn't splurge on it for myself too often. read more

This is a small little food stand in the Columbus circle turnstyle. Mini donuts with flavoring that they either drizzle powder or sauce over. You can also choose from a number of other dips for an additional dollar. Note that the minimum order is 6 donuts ($6), and you can only have 2 different flavor combinations with this amount. They are bite sized though, so it actually isn't a lot. You get the deep fried crunch texture, but I wish it was a little more on the chewy side. Unfortunately they didn't have all the flavors available when I went. There are maybe a total of 20 flavors on their menu, but they were only selling 8 of them. read more

I was beyond disappointed in the customer service at this location. I came here this evening with a colleague so she could bring a sweet treat to her two sons. After walking 30 minutes to get here, the staff closed their doors in our face. We asked if they were closed and they said they just received a large order and couldn't help us. We asked if they could please make an exception as we only wanted 6 donuts...they said NO and turned away from us. I can promise you that I will never be returning here or recommending the Doughnuttery to anyone. read more

Doughnuttery is a donut specialty shop in the Turnstyle. They sell generic small fried doughnuts suped up powdered flavors. Imagined mini gas station powdered doughnuts, but with larger specs of "flavor" powder. TBH the flavor powder is pretty underwhelming. It's pricey for the portions. I thought the doughnuts were just OK, nothing to get too excited about. If they were cheaper, I would come back. This place is a straight up hit or miss... Not only at this location but I notice the same thing at the pop up shop they have at Broadway bites when that is in season. If you're lucky you will catch them actually making the donuts and get them fresh out of the oil piping hot. If not you are going to get cold donuts sitting under a warmer that does not work. Don't get me wrong these donuts taste really good but they are full of sugar so I try not to get them too often. Some of the sugar flavors are good and some are horrible. I like to stick to the glazed with sprinkles which is always a safe choice. Not to mention most importantly you will only get six tiny donuts for $6. And six is the minimum you can buy. It is definitely too expensive for such a tiny amount of food. You're better off going to a pizza shop and buying zeppolies because that is exactly what they taste like. read more

I love doughnuttery, and have turned my office onto ordering them for birthdays since they are small and easily shareable. That said, they are pricey for what you get. You know it doesn't cost much to make them at that size so it does feel a bit crazy. read more

Not impressed. I had to check this place out because of the hype, but I must say its not worth it. I tried the Cacaoboy, Green Tea Buzz, Speckled Strawberry, and Cinnamon Sugar donuts. The Cinnamon Sugar was the best, followed by the Green Tea Buzz. The flavor combo on the Cacacoboy tasted like spicy dirt and the Green Tea Buzz was a little bland. For 12 mini donuts, I paid $15. I'd rather get a traditional donut for $3 some where else. Sorry! read more

This spot just opened up at Turnstyle. I love the donuts from here, mainly because they are so cute and tiny. They have a nice consistency to them and they weren't too heavily sweet.
