Cook Unity has become very important to our healthy eating. My wife has diabetes which has been helped by your service. She finds the extensive detailed ingredient list is extremely helpful in figuring out which meals have sugar or salt including in the sauces. Some meals are especially diabetic friendly. And I have been very successful on a GLP-1 obesity medication and diet because I can easily make healthy choices since the nutritional information is provided, especially the calories and protein grams. Restaurant menus, in contrast, do not provide such important details for every meal! The meals themselves are definitely restaurant quality or better! read more

I've been using Cook Unity for several years and as someone who typically cooks from scratch, it has really impressed me. The meals arrive premade and in the fridge, not frozen. Some are salads or bowls and meant to be eaten cold and taste fresh. Others only take a minute or two in the microwave and taste like my own cooking or my own leftovers. I particularly appreciate that most have the sauces on the side. This helps increase how fresh they taste. It also means if I want something less caloric or less spicy, I still have some control over the meal The range each week is amazing and it's so easy to sort. They can filter for types of food (bowls, mains etc. ) or by dietary needs (carb conscious, Mediterranean, specific calories, etc) or by protein (shellfish, fish, vegan, vegetarian, chicken, pork, beef). They have a decent amount of vegan and a lot of vegetarian, ranging from fake meats to beans or tofu. And you can sort by ethnic foods. The delivery has always been on time. And they come in reusable bags so each week, we set out last week's bag and they pick it up. Far less waste. It's also easy to skip weeks. I still love cooking but CookUnity is great for those weeks when I just want to take it easy. It's easy to change the day it arrives - and how many we get a week.the price is super reasonable considering there's basically DoorDash waiting for me in my fridge all week and usually better quality but at a fraction the price. It's even cheaper than some of the other meal delivery services that send ingredients. The only tiny complain is some of the chicken is a little gamey. Not inedible but not amazing. And we don't eat red meat so we eat a lot of chicken and fish. But we've found that eating the chicken cold helps. And much of it is delicious regardless. Their shrimp and salmon are superb. And we love their chicken burrito. So I highly recommend cook unity ! read more

Is it possible to ruin Fried Chicken? Cook Unity did. What they called a Japanese meal was small bits of dried out tasteless Fried chicken w hard rice and a tiny bit of awful coleslaw. If you enjoy tasty food Do not order from Cook Unity! read more

I started using Cook Unity nearly three months ago and so far, my experiences have been great. Their menu is quite extensive and new items are available each time I check. In my experience, the quality of the food has also always been excellent -- I have not yet had an unsatisfactory meal. The way that their website is set up enables you to filter search results across a variety of criteria, which is a big help in choosing your meals without the process being overwhelming due to sheer number of choices that are available. My meal shipments have always been on time, and up to the minute tracking is available on the day of arrival. I also typically leave the last order's bag/freezer packs outside my door for pickup. The meals also arrive chilled, not frozen. The only drawbacks to Cook Unity that I can think of are that there is no a la carte option -- a subscription is required; however, skipping weekly shipment(s) can be easily be done. Also, some of the meals are a bit higher in calories than I would like. Finally, several of their meals have had cuts of meat that were VERY fatty. Overall, Cook Unity is a great option if you're looking to try a food delivery service featuring both high quality and variety. read more

I have tried more meal delivery services than I can count. I have always ended up cancelling after the trial because of taste, quality, or cost concerns. I was pleasantly surprised to find the meals from Cook Unity were delicious! I'm 4 weeks in and haven't gotten a bum meal yet. They have dozens of choices and the meals arrive fresh tasting as if they truly have been prepared by Chefs as they claim not produced on an assembly line. They are always on time and I love that they take the cooler bag and ice packs back with each new delivery leaving no waste. read more

I love cookunity and have been a customer for years. I've tried a lot of the different meal delivery services, and this is the only one that I've not gotten tired of. We love cook unity because it's really good food and convenient for a pretty reasonable price. The only criticism I have is you might love a meal one week and then never see it again because you can't order it again and that's happened for 3 particular meals we loved. read more

I'm local to Miami and I've been ordering from CookUnity for about two months now. I've had an incredible experience! If your priority is variety, flavor, and exploring multiple cuisines, CookUnity absolutely has you covered. As a pescatarian, I have plenty of options. When I try to go dairy-free or egg-free, the menu becomes a bit more limited, but if you're vegetarian or pescatarian, you'll have an abundance of flavorful choices. The nutrition facts are also completely transparent, making it easy to track macros or watch your sodium. Plus, the app is an absolute pleasure to use and incredibly intuitive. The best part about CookUnity, hands down, is their customer service. No company is perfect, and I've had a few spoiled meals, delivery errors, and a moment where a UnityPerk wasn't applied due to confusing wording. However, in every single instance, the support team has been understanding, supportive, and solution-oriented. In a world where some companies fight tooth and nail to keep your money, CookUnity is generous and client-forward. Every representative has been thorough, detail-oriented, and proactive. You can tell they take feedback seriously to improve the product, which creates a real sense of collaboration. Otherwise, delivery is great and I really appreciate their eco-friendly initiatives--the meal packaging is completely recyclable, and the larger insulated bags get returned and reused. My boyfriend and I genuinely enjoy picking our meals every week, and we look forward to exploring different flavors without the labor of cooking in the midst of busy days. read more

I've tried other services, and they just don't offer me the variety I love. Recent changes to delivery and packaging make it even better.

I have ordered multiple times and being a disabled person I appreciate Cook Unity! The food always tastes delicious !

I have been ordering Cook Unity for my son who is a junior in college at a very rigorous conservatory. He has little time to cook and does a lot of physical activity that is part of his program. We are a family that likes to cook and eat, so making sure he had nutritious and tasty food so far away was a real challenge. Cook Unity has been a huge help. The quality and flavors are on point and there is a big selection every week. I recently had an issue and customer service was also EXCELLENT. Highly recommend! read more

Excellent quality. Food is fresh and delicious. Excellent and large selections. Good pricing. Responsive customer service. Website easy to understand and use. Absolutely love CookUnity! We had tried about 6 different food delivery services and found this one to have the most delicious meals. There are so many choices to choose from .. not a rotation of the same meals, as other services have. Delivery is also excellent .. they never miss a day, never say they can't deliver because it's a holiday or because they are unable lat minute. Yes, this has happened to us with a few of the other delivery services. Cook Unity is a win-win .. delicious choices, excellent customer service and excellent delivery. Excellent fresh meals. Large menu to select from with new additions every week. The meals are very tasty. International menu by chefs. I love that each meal in the menu has a clear explanation of its contents including protein, carbs, fat, etc Very important for customers with health concerns, one can request meals without sugar or without salt or certain diet like Keto or Mediterranean. The customer support is excellent. They will quickly respond and solve any issue. Delivery so far has also been excellent. There is a tracking system that allows you to know exactly at what time the delivery will take place. I have tried through the years several meal delivery services and CookUnity is so far the best. We started Cook Unity after trying multiple other meal delivery services and none of them held a candle to these meals. The variety, the size of the portions and the flavors have been absolutely fabulous week to week. My husband and I are both limited in our health, semi-disabled, and I just can't cook meals any more. Because of that I was really not eating healthy meals (think cereal or pb&j's every night for dinner) These meals, delivered and heated up in less than 20 min. in the oven have changed our lives. I'm so grateful to see that box on my step every week. Another thing to mention is the absolutely stellar customer service. I've had two or three issues with packaging as we live very rural and I think our box occasionally goes through some things on it's way here. Customer service response is almost immediate and always perfect. I honestly have no complaints except perhaps menu items that I love one week not being there the next, but I know that is the nature of how these services work. If you're on the fence about trying Cook Unity--do it! read more

Cook Unity meals provide a delicious variety of meals my spouse, a pescatarian, and I, who follow a Mediterranean style of eating that includes chicken, both enjoy. We used to order in quite a bit but find Cook Unity meals far healthier and more affordable. There is a wide variety of cuisines represented, as well as some fusion ones like Indo-Mexican which we haven't dipped into yet. Logistically speaking, it's easy to turn weeks on or off and also to redirect your meals to a different address. It's great to be able to check the nutrition info before ordering. Support is readily available. Delivery is reliable and well chilled. I'm thrilled to get meals from an operation that supports chefs' creativity. just want to clarify that you don't need to do any food prep: just heat in the oven or microwave. Give Cook Unity a try! It's a winner! read more

If you are someone who checks Yelp before trying a restaurant... I'm right there with you. And yes, I know... Cook Unity isn't technically a restaurant. But it kind of feels like you've curated a lineup of restaurant-quality meals and had them delivered straight to your door, ready to be reheated however you like (chef's recommendation in a pan or in the oven, or in the microwave... I choose the chef's route) What sets it apart is that it's a Chef's Marketplace. These aren't random meals. These are dishes created by actual chefs, people with accolades, restaurants, cookbooks, a following... all putting their menus into rotation for you to order from weekly. I've tried the typical meal prep brands that promise "easy" and "time-saving." That's great, but not if it comes at the expense of quality and taste. I switched to Cook Unity from Factor, and I haven't looked back. Honestly, I regret ever convincing myself that Factor was good enough. I know my reviews tend to be more detailed than most, but that's just how I am. I'm not paid for this, and I'm not trying to sell anything. I just appreciate when something actually delivers on what it promises. For context, I live alone, and while I enjoy cooking, it's not always practical. Between time, cost, and wasted ingredients, having restaurant-level meals at home just makes sense. Actually, it goes beyond that. I find myself reviewing almost every meal in the app because they're genuinely worth talking about. There are 300+ meals to choose from weekly, plus rotating new additions, premium options, snacks, desserts, and juice accompaniments. And the delivery has been solid, better handled than most traditional food delivery services I used to rely on. Personally, I run a two-weeks-on, one-week-off rhythm. It keeps things balanced and makes me appreciate it even more when I come back. And I get to cook and be purposeful for a week. Some standouts so far: - Chef Cat Cora -- Seared Salmon & Crispy Rice with Sriracha Mayo Firecracker Sauce - Chef Aarthi Sampath - Jamdown Jerk Chicken w/Coconut Rice & Roasted Plantains - Chef Esther Choi -- Miso Ramen with Chicken Katsu, Shiitake Mushrooms & Bok Choy - Chef Chris Ratel -- BBQ Chicken with Gooey Mac & Cheese (no exaggeration, one of the best mac & cheeses I've had) - Chef Anne Thornton -- Sweet Chili Tofu Bowl with Quinoa, Edamame & Broccoli (I re-plate my meals because it just feels better... but you do you... don't judge the pics, didn't realize I'd be making a review. But my mom loves to see what I eat!) If you made it this far, you already know this isn't a quick review (I rarely do a quick review lol). I just like highlighting companies that actually follow through on what they promise... and in this case, exceed expectations. Cook Unity definitely does. Hope you give it a shot! read more

I have been using Cook Unity for at least five years. I was first introduced to them by a friend in my building in Washington DC. Inwas thrilled when I saw they serviced LA. Besides the delicious, flavorful meals, I like their sustainability. Instead of shipping your meals in boxes with a lot of wasted packing, they are delivered by a courier each week in a cold pack, who then takes away last week's pack. No waste. I will continue using Cook Unity for their great meals and for being environmentally friendly. read more

We have used Cook Unity for over a year, and could not be more delighted. The range of choices for each order is amazing, and we really love having meals from various cuisines. My partner and I have vastly different food choices, so each of us can select the types of meals we want. We find the portion sizes more than adequate (we are both retired) and often have left-overs for lunch the next day.We plate our meals and use our own preferred method for heating them. We each have several "favorites" - but also enjoy trying things that are new on the menu. We recently had a problem with a delivery, and while Cook Unity could not solve the problem directly, they were sensitive and responsive to our concern. Thank you for a wonderful service and a great food experience! read more

I used them for about a couple of months, but ended up canceling. be careful with canceling or changing things with them, I changed my delivery day to an earlier day in the week, and they still sent me meals for the previous day, so I received 2 sets of meals in one week, when I had already cancelled the one. Make sure you document any changes and confirmations you receive from them (screen shots). I had mixed results with quality with some of their meals, also the expiration with some of the meals can be less than a week. I can't recommend. read more

My delivery on 8/30 was not delivered as promised. Then I received a message that it would be delivered on Monday instead. Even though I asked that it be delivered Tuesday because I work Monday , it arrived Monday morning. I arrived back from work at 6pm Monday and I had to throw all the meals out and no food for the rest of the week. They said no to replacement meals. Yes, they refunded me but what a terrible company to be ok with customers having to throw food out. This has happened multiple times. read more

Deliveries have been reliable and customer service has been helpful. Plus, the food itself is legitimately quite solid and easy to customize depending on whether I want to prioritize health or be more adventurous with flavors. I've been using CookUnity for four to five years, and on the very rare occasions where something has gone sideways with the delivery, customer service has been reasonable and accommodated/addressed the situations in a way that felt completely fair to me. As a teacher who doesn't have much time to cook during school weeks, knowing that I have a good, convenient, reasonably healthy meal that I can just stock up on and eat throughout the week is an absolute godsend for my physical and mental health. And I'd happily recommend CookUnity to anyone who's on the fence about trying a good meal prep/meal delivery service. read more

My mom is getting older, lives alone and doesn't always have the energy to cook for herself. I order meals for her, usually dinners and often the premium ones because they are complete, delicious, chef recipes, and as easy as pressing start on the microwave. She has to watch her salt so I lean towards the low sodium meals but she's thin so I sprinkle in non low sodium meals as well. They arrive to her apartment frozen and she puts them in her freezer. She loves them and I love knowing she always has delicious and nutritious meals that make her feel full and loved. I've tried them all but Cook Unity is by far the best. She has friends and family that take her out so the feature that allows me to skip any week whenever necessary is a huge plus and also why I use Cook Unity. It avoids wasting meals which allows me to spend on what she actually eats. read more

My family has been enjoying these meals for more than two years. I like being able to adapt the menu offerings based on our protein and calorie preferences. I've been on a health journey for the past two years, and about 1.5 years ago I made the switch from Factor to CookUnity. It's easily one of the best decisions I've made for my nutrition, and I genuinely wish I had discovered CookUnity sooner. Factor was a great introduction to prepared meals, but I quickly realized I wanted food that tasted like something I would actually choose to eat, not simply something that fit my macros. I'm pretty selective about food, and I wasn't excited by meals featuring formed, rib meat chicken products or the same repetitive flavors. That's what led me to CookUnity, and the difference was immediate. I was in the middle of a calorie deficit when I made the switch, so finding meals that were both calorie-conscious and high in protein was incredibly important to me. What surprised me most was that I didn't have to sacrifice flavor or satisfaction to stay on track. The meals were genuinely delicious, filling, and something I could look forward to eating. As I progressed through my health journey and eventually started increasing my calories, CookUnity became even better. With 400+ weekly options, I could explore completely different cuisines and dishes instead of feeling like I was eating "diet food." I now eat CookUnity for lunch and dinner six days a week, and I honestly look forward to my meals every day. Some of my favorites are the Moroccan Chicken, BBQ Salmon, Chicken Katsu, and Chicken Flatbread Pizza. The value is incredible, too, roughly $12 per meal for food that saves me time, fits seamlessly into my nutrition goals, and actually tastes great. I also love how easy it is to pause or skip deliveries when I'm traveling. The additional meal subscription option (Unity Pass) and discounted delivery make the service even more flexible. And I have to give a special shoutout to the Customer Support team. During an unexpected family emergency, I had to leave town suddenly and was worried that my meals for the week would go to waste. The CX team went above and beyond to accommodate my situation. They showed genuine empathy, flexibility, and kindness at a time when I really needed it. That experience made me appreciate CookUnity as a company, not just as a meal service, even more. After 1.5 years, I can confidently say CookUnity has become a staple of my lifestyle. If you're looking for meals that are convenient, genuinely delicious, macro-friendly, and flexible enough to fit in your real life, I can't recommend CookUnity highly enough. It's one of the rare services that makes staying on track feel like something to look forward to rather than something you have to force yourself to do. read more

I crave home cooked meals on the regular (more than fast food) and this fulfills that craving for me. I rave about it to all my friends and recommend it to whoever will listen!
