I've tried the typical meal prep brands that promise "easy" and "time-saving." That's great, but not if it comes at the expense of quality and taste. I switched to Cook Unity from Factor, and I haven't looked back. Honestly, I regret ever convincing myself that Factor was good enough. I know my reviews tend to be more detailed than most, but that's just how I am. I'm not paid for this, and I'm not trying to sell anything. I just appreciate when something actually delivers on what it promises. For context, I live alone, and while I enjoy cooking, it's not always practical. Between time, cost, and wasted ingredients, having restaurant-level meals at home just makes sense. Actually, it goes beyond that. I find myself reviewing almost every meal in the app because they're genuinely worth talking about. There are 300+ meals to choose from weekly, plus rotating new additions, premium options, snacks, desserts, and juice accompaniments. We have absolutely love Cook Unity!! the food has been high-quality, delicious and nutritious! Truly tastes like I cooked a home-cooked meal, which I am not very good at nor do I enjoy doing so this has been absolutely wonderful!! The portion sizes are perfect, and there is such a wide variety of meals. My husband and I could not be happier! Also, the Customer Service has been absolutely incredible!! I just send a quick text with any questions I have and they are answered within the next 10 minutes. It is incredible! I have never had to make one phone call yet about anything! They are always just a text away!! We are going to be customers as long as this company is around, which I think is going to be a very, very long time especially because the meals keep changing!! They come every Tuesday packed very well in a cooler bag with several ice packs in them so they are kept nice and cold. I also love the text updates I receive so I know when it will arrive. I received notification via email that my order processed, so I responded asking to cancel it, and received a response saying it was too late. I responded again asking to just cancel any and all additional orders - to just outright cancel my account and was just told I can't cancel until after I receive my order. Please cancel my account. Cook Unity are great. We've relied on them for our main meal every day for over two years, and we never tire of the meals because of the variety they offer, and the quality of the food. They rotate in new dishes all the time, and have expanded their team of designer chefs. On top of that, they offer full nutritional information, and the ability to filter for various diet needs or preferences. One small downside is that the delivery service they use in our area does not offer precise delivery times, instead they only give us a broad time window, but we've learned to work around that. We've never had health issues related to the quality of the food. Really a great service, especially if you are trying to take care of a busy family with varied schedules, or an elderly parent who needs regular meals support. I love this service! There are tons of options that are being changed and updated all the time. I use these as my lunches for the week. They also have breakfast options. You can rate your meals afterwards and mark them as favorites. If a meal is not good quality, they will reimburse you as long as you send a photo. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that some meals feel too small for the price per meal (which comes out to about $17). That's pretty pricey for one meal and if it leaves you feeling unsatisfied that's disappointing. read more
