Ordered a Sammy and a chicken quesadilla. SO GOOD!

Ordered a Sammy and a chicken quesadilla and it was SO GOOD! hit the spot! Food was warm and flavorful.

This is a nice deli right in the heart of the UWS that I've been meaning to try for a while now. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. The food itself was what you would expect from a corner deli store. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I picked up my order. I love that they have counter seating with stools facing the window, where you can watch delivery trucks unload and people walk by on the sidewalk.

So, I've been only a customer for two months and their disrespect has called for that to be enough time. Every time I go I feel a displacement or clearly that I'm not an everyday customer, which I wasn't too focused about. I loved everything about this store, especially the apple turnovers I did favor at one point, until I went to purchase one and one of the middle eastern gentlemen decided to lay my pastry on his counter without a plastic bag covering it, granted I just stared and then he aggressively asked me like, "oh do you want a bag", that was my last day there. Since April. Great store, their juices are sub-par Sandwich tasted great but was presented messy! Apple turnover was good.

A solid sandwich and salad place. The decor could use a refresh. Nothing to write home about, but they offer a good selection at reasonable prices.

We stopped in around 9:30 AM on a Saturday, and the place was buzzing--a clear sign of its popularity. While it is strictly a "to-go" spot, the efficiency of the operation makes the morning rush manageable. The Logistics & Ordering The menu is expansive, spanning three screens with an incredible variety of bagel types, cream cheese flavors, meats, and cheeses. Despite the line, the ordering process was straightforward. A major plus: you have the option to have your bagel toasted before they assemble the sandwich. Our coffees were ready within 2-3 minutes, and the sandwiches followed about 10 minutes later--very reasonable given how busy they were. The Food I went with a classic Sausage, Egg, and Cheese on an Egg Bagel. * The Bagel: The egg bagel itself was phenomenal. It had that perfect, authentic texture that makes NYC bagels famous. * The Build: The sandwich was very generously portioned. Every bite was delicious, well-balanced, and exactly what you want from a hearty breakfast sandwich. The "Extras" One of the most charming and unexpected parts of BTS is their candy selection. They carry an array of nostalgic and "internet-famous" treats I didn't even realize were still in production (or existed at all!). Keep an eye out for: * Dr. Pepper Tic Tacs * Krispy Kreme Doughnut Jelly Beans * Strawberry Creams * Pickle Candy The Verdict Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is a top-tier spot for a reliable, high-quality NYC breakfast. Just be prepared for a crowd, but know that the payoff is worth the wait. If you are looking for a quintessential NYC bagel breakfast sandwich, Bagel to Sandwich (BTS) on W 40th is a must-visit. FOOD: I ordered the Classic Nova on an Asiago bagel, and honestly, it was one of the best bagels I've ever had. The bagel was perfectly toasted with a crispy outer crunch while still being warm and soft on the inside. The smoked salmon tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful, and everything paired together so well. My sister got the New Yorker breakfast sandwich with brisket, eggs, and a hash brown, and it was just as impressive. Both sandwiches were absolutely stuffed with fillings, which we loved. If we're ever back in New York, we'll definitely make a point to stop here again!

They are super generous with the cream cheese, and I usually take some out just to get the ratio right for me. There's almost always a long line, but it moves pretty efficiently and is 100% worth the wait. Very casual spot with no seating. Honestly, wish they would open a location in SoCal.
