When I showed up I had several packages waiting for me since I was in town for work. When I came downstairs I was able to confirm that all my packages had arrived and see if I could get them delivered to the floor. The staff were on it and within the half hour they were up to the floor where we were to setup. When they delivered they also let us know what we would need to do when it was time to send them back. Time came to send our packages back to where they came from. I checked multiple times to ensure when they were open. When the time came we went downstairs to have them come pick them up we actually were given a cart to bring them down. Good thing about having an account with UPS all you have to do is create your labels and they will print them in store and affix them to your boxes. Once we got downstairs, we dropped the boxes, chatted with the staff and were on our way. It was pretty simple and the hours were convenient for guests staying/working at the hotel.

It costs $0.20 if you make sure that you print in black and white (it was color for me before I changed it, but perhaps it's because the document I was printing has a color header). And I love that I can do all of this without interacting with anyone. This is a much smaller location than I've ever been in but they do the major things like print, fax, ship. It's adjoining a Starbucks so you can get your caffeine fix.

When I arrived to pick-up the cards, there were multiple customers there, and then we had an issue with the payment system. Gary figured it out quickly and efficiently, cool and calm under pressure. I know what it's like trying to manage IT and customers at the same time. Never easy. But nice job! Fellow humans. Please be kind and patient with people. This team is working hard to make us happy. DO NOT use FedEx for your holiday (or any other) shipping needs. FedEx is keeping my hard earned…read moremoney! I used FedEx and paid $27.19 to ship a package to my grandson. In the package was a $140 Nike men's jacket and a $25 McDonald's gift card for a total of $165. As proof of delivery, the FedEx driver took a picture of a white door where they claimed to have left the package. My grandson's door is dark blue. I immediately informed FedEx that the package was not delivered and submitted a claim. I also immediately RE-purchased the identical items in my grandson package for another $165. This time I used UPS and paid $20.13. The driver for UPS delivered the package to my grandson as labeled and also took a picture of the dark blue door as proof of delivery. I provided to FedEx: EVERY receipt from BOTH purchases and included photos provided by both FedEx and UPS drivers. First they denied my claim twice saying that I was not the shipper. WHAT?! I provided proof of that. It was only when I reached out to Better Business Bureau that I received a call from FedEx from a lady who said she would escalate my claim but pointed out that I should call the 800 number on the denial email. She did not escalate the claim but I called the number. FedEx reopened and approved the claim. However, FedEx stated that they will only refund $100 for my stolen package! How is that when I told the cashier that my package was valued at $165 and provided receipts to prove it!!! I received $100 and reimbursement for the shipping cost of $27.19. In essence, FedEx gets to keep $65. I guess Better Business Bureau did all that they could do. Take it from me. I have been robbed by FedEx! This is unacceptable and in my opinion, ILLEGAL! FedEx has made money off of me. Please think long and hard before you use FedEx!

The employee who helped me seemed nice enough but informed me that there would be a handling fee per package based on weight - and that on the smaller package, the handling fee would be $10.50, which is typically the fee for oversize and overweight packages or containers other than a rectilinear cardboard box, none of which were relevant here. There is ordinarily no surcharge for drop-offs at a FedEx Office location. I walked out, naturally, and shipped my packages from the FedEx Office on Lake Street, in the Renaissance Hotel. This location, also attached to a downtown hotel, did not charge me a penny extra. I assume this is some sort of racket to extort guests of the Westin.

There was no budget or time issue on our end, we send ready-to-print files, and told them we'd pay whatever it took to make it happen, including any extra charges but they still didn't want our business. The order was for 100 booklets, nothing too complicated. I would recommend doing business elsewhere. Calling on a Sunday should not be an issue for a 24 hour business.
