This was an incredible experience! I'm a 25 year old living in Lincoln Park and this place was referred to by a friend. Amazing service, amazing quality. I had Marlene reach out to me regarding the review and accepting the project. She was willing to accommodate pricing in order to keep me as a client and for me to remove the most recent review. I agreed and I didn't think she could do worse. I sent her the quantity and sizes and was informed I'd receive an invoice. I never did (should've noticed that red flag cause no one would be doing labor without getting the $ up front). Again I've had to email and text her to ask for updates and she responds saying that the shirts were "ready" but then continues to ask me for the design, which I'd already sent in my initial email to avoid any extra steps. I finally get another message saying the shirts are "done" I ask for clarification & I'm informed I have to wait another weekend for them to be done as in she would have finished them but I wouldn't have received it by then. I let her know that this is lots of time spent and I have been the one over communicating. Marlene responds telling me she can't do the project anymore due to bandwidth to which I replied that that was something she should've communicated in our initial conversation as opposed to her taking on the project for the sake of keeping a client and having a review removed. Now I'm stuck looking for other businesses who are heavily backlogged and I've lost valuable time in my timeline thanks to this. I should not have relied on past experiences rather have looked at the recent reviews here as they also reflect the lack of communication on her part and the lagging in work. I'm only thankful I did not pay for this and something tells me she did not do any of this work as no one in their right mind would go through all this only to stop the project that they've invested their labor in. I would not recommend, however, I wish her the best of with her business. May she get more help and learn when to say "no", as she has done amazing work in the past and had been extremely professional. I gave her lots of grace considering her seeming like she indeed wanted to keep me as a client and I ended up getting burned. read more

Ho-ly crud, I haven't gotten such warm and fuzzies about a business in ages! I was looking for a custom mug and same day nonetheless, it's actually pretty difficult. I found Versatile Images online and from start to finish this was the most delightful and easy customer experience I've ever had. I called and spoke to Marlene(G.O.A.T) who was so sweet and helpful and walked me through the process keeping communication to confirm that I got what I wanted. This human is good people and made me a lifelong customer. The mug came out better than I expected and I'll be looking forward to making more purchases in the future. I'm so, so, so happy to have found this business and am eternally grateful for how pleasant, convenient and speedy the process was with a local business at that! Thank you, Marlene, I appreciate you so much. read more

AWESOME printing business! I wanted to make a very last minute birthday present for my sister and Versatile came through! The colors came out great and the design was placed perfectly Super nice, responsive, and fair price. They are definitely my new go-to business, I want to try their embroidery service next! Two things to note: Versatile sells the garment to print on, however, if you have a specific item you bring from home, they will do the outside printing-that's a big deal, not a lot of places will do that. Also, I picked up my order at a UPS/Mailboxes store, so don't be confused by the address Thank you! read more

I had SUCH a wonderful experience with Mar and Versatile Images. I wrote them about a one-off Father's Day gift. I honestly didn't have a great idea of exactly how my idea could be executed, and they spent a ton of time via email and on the phone with me proofing different concepts and ensuring the gift turned out great. They were SO kind, generous, and above and beyond. It was clear how much of a passion they have for making unique and high quality images. Thank you so much! Five star service from the beginning to the end of the process. I had a single quarter zip custom embroidery job and Mar was beyond quick to respond, very accommodating and helpful in the design process, and also delivered my finished product to my house since I lived nearby! The day she was working on my item, she sent me multiple sizing and layout options with pictures for approval, she was very attentive and had a great attitude about minuet changes I made. The pricing was very fair and even more competitive than other shops that took longer to respond. I would recommend Mar and her shop time and time again - she truly is customer service oriented and it shows in her great work! read more

In the past two weeks I've used Versatile Images on 2 projects. They are easy to work with and have a efficient, seamless process. Mar went above and beyond my expectations. She responded almost immediately to both of my requests and was able to pull great products together for me on the fly. She printed personalized photo mugs for a going away dinner that turned out perfect. I also had business cards printed. She was able to put together suggestions for a color/graphic design for the cards since I didn't have any. She was also kind enough to deliver. I will definitely call her in the future! Me being still so childish I have been watching Ninja play for years now and I thought it was time top make it official that I was a fanboy. I had simply emailed Versatile Images and Marlene was the most helpful person to deal with. I had ordered a yellow tank top with the ninja logo on the front of the shirt and a separate design I had downloaded from Etsy from my all time favorite movie The Big Lebowski. I HONESTLY COULDNT HAVE ASKED FOR ANYTHING BETTER IN THIS WORLD!!!!! Not only the experience but just the surreal moment of opening the shirt from the packaging when I first got in my car from picking it up was incredible. I will definitely go back to Versatile Images for whatever else I find cool on the internet and I know that Marlene and Versatile Images can print it. read more
