    Saporito sandwich
    Cinthia K.

My friend had mentioned that this place was recommended to her by a coworker, so we figured we ought to grab lunch from here. The place doesn't have much seating inside, but we managed to get a table to sit at to eat our sandwiches. I got their saporito, which was quite good, especially their bread, but a bit messy. I managed to drip some of their oils from the sandwich onto my jeans, which was unfortunate, so be careful when eating their sandwiches! Overall, not a bad alternative to All'antico Vinaio.

Comes up as a grocery store on Apple maps but it's definitely a panini shop! This place is so good and the quality of ingredients are insane. My panini only had 2 ingredients (prosciutto/burrata) on it and it was one of the best ones I've had here while studying abroad. There was a perfect amount of prosciutto on it and the burrata made it heavenly. I could even eat the bread by itself it was that good. I highly recommend this place.

Most definitely lived up to the hype. Loved their panini... The bread was so chewy and the meat and cheese went so well... Thinking about their sandwich is making me drool... So good... Nomnom :) It's really close to the Ufizi Gallery so you can easily just drop by when you're in the area and grab a bite to eat... I would most definitely go back! :)

I wanted to love this place more than I did but I thought it was a bit expensive for what you get. The sandwiches were good, the bread was fresh and warmed up, but I still felt hungry after eating my sandwich. The sandwich was not cheap at 9€. I couldn't eat any of the meat options (since I'm pregnant, no deli meats or cured meats, sadly) so I had to go with one of the vegetarian options (they had at least 6-8 choices to pick from, so that was good. I got the Broccoli: my sandwich had jarred marinated broccoli rabe, pickled zucchini, sun dried tomatoes, salad, a cumin hummus, eggplant and onions. I tasted mostly the broccoli rabe, pickled zucchini (tasted almost like dill pickles), and a lot of the sun dried tomato oil. It was delicious but not super filling for me. The bread is nice and fresh and toasted so that it's warm. Overall, if you eat meat, the meat sandwiches looked better to me than the vegetarian options. I would have preferred a normal sit-down meal for lunch, but this is good if you're in a hurry or if you want to grab a quick bite to eat before or after the Uffizi Gallery, as this place is really close. I'd come back for a snack but probably not for a meal.

THIS is the best sandwich made with fresh sliced meats in front of you on the freshest bread I've ever had. 10/10 recommend for lunch or an afternoon pre- dinner snack

Everyone has their favorite sandwich shop in Florence and this just happens to be mine. Ino is located on a tiny little street behind the Uffizi gallery located towards the arno river. Finding it can be a challenge but when you do you'll be stuffing your face faster than Dante Alighieri can mutter 'Inferno'. Ino is special because of the quality of ingredients. Everything they use is specifically chosen, the bread is tasty, light and properly crispy avoiding the dreaded 'soggy sandwich' syndrome. I love that they have really good vegetarian options with tasty 'mostarda' (a savory chutney) that meshes perfectly with seasonable veggies and saffron-infused pecorino (sheep) cheese. House wine costs around 1.50 a glass and if you come early you can grab a coveted 'barrel' spot next to the floor to ceiling windows. Ino - Ti Amo.

    Bruschetta and sandwich with salami

You may not associate sandwiches as a primary beacon of Italian cuisine but don't be a dolt. Ino is a tremendous stop in Florence. A small, out of the way shop that opens up like a sandwich wonderland once you order. The bruschetta isn't the kind you usually see in America. It's not soggy tomatoes and bread. It's fresh vegetables and cheese atop crisp bread. The sandwich (got salami) was simple but delectable. Fresh salami and bread. Grab a glass of wine. Hope you can find a table. But definitely come.

Amazing fresh panini! And this quaint little shop has a wide variety to choose from. The ingredients are all fresh and exceptional. Don't forget to try the local coke (Sensa caffeine! )

Great sandwich - one layer includes chicken liver! Yum.

Great sandwiches. I was on group tour (12 of us) and our guide recommended this place. It's been a few weeks so can't remember exactly the name but I did attach a picture. It was delicious. Highly recommend for lunch when walking around Firenze.

November 9, 2024 2:30PM…read more It does appear they have two stalls on the same street that you can order from. One side seemed to have more alcohol on display and the side I was on was more sandwich focused, but I'm pretty sure you can order the same things from both windows. Initially I was going to get the 21 - Fresh Sausage and Eggplant because I'm an eggplant lover... the lady at the counter was kind enough to let me know that the fresh sausage is actually rare, uncooked sausage and gave me a small piece to try. I was getting ready to get on a train that day and didn't want something that might not sit well with me, so I moved on to number 27 spicy salami and cream cheese. My partner got the number 1, ham, cream cheese and rocket salad. Both are very good sized and oh so delicious. The line moved quickly, so many options for decision paralysis. This is the place for schiacciate Florentine as recommended from friends who used to live here. Definitely would recommend to study up their menu before coming so it's easier to pick what you want. This is more of a stall and you grab and go, we stood around the sidewalk and inhaled our sandwiches. Watch out for the pigeons getting ready to take your crumbs too, you can see them on the ledge of the building getting ready to attack. A must visit for Florence.

Racist owner randomly took my table and chair while I was eating on it to give to a Caucasian European couple. l'm an Asian female by the way. I showed him that my boyfriend was waiting in line to purchase food and constantly assured him we were using them and that we were buying food. He still took my table and chair and said I'll give you another one- to which it down graded to eating off 3 short chairs. I told the European couple that it wasn't fair that the server took our table to give to them and they just smiled and dismissed me. Racism at its finest. Their sandwich is not good. Actually the sandwich shop across the street I' Grone De Ghiotti is way better with service and sandwich taste. Sadly I don't think this post will change the attitude of the owner.

True to its name, Pino's Sandwiches offers an impressive variety of sandwiches. I ordered the Magic ZBD, and it was outstanding - fresh ingredients, very generous portions, and hands down some of the best pesto I've had in a very long time. When my friends and I arrived, the line was out the door, which is usually a good sign, and it definitely was. Dedpite the crowd, we were seated and served within about twenty minutes. The service was excellent, and it was great to see the owner behind the counter making sandwiches alongside the staff. One fun touch for visiors from the U.S., the restaurant is decorated with several American college pennants, which adds a warm, familiar vibe in the middle of Italy. Fantastic food, fast service, and a welcoming atmosphere, Pino's Sandwiches is well worth the visit while in Florence.
