Went in to get an estimate on some lighting work on my 2022 Tundra 1794. Spoke with Eddie and he was able to get me in that afternoon. TL;DR - fantastic service - lots of lighting options - Saturday by appointment only I think HID kits are a one-way street. You install it on one car and you never can do without it after. I remember driving with it on CA46 (way before the improvements and when it was absolutely pitch black when you drove alone) and it was a major visibility difference. So now with each new car, I make sure to have it installed the moment I have a chance. I found Innovative Street Lights on Yelp but have actually come across them at SEMA in Vegas a few years ago. They are definitely good people and owner Eddie and his right hand man Jaime are those guys that genuinely care about their customers. They both share their knowledge freely to help you make the best decision possible out of the various options they have available. It really doesn't get any better than that. One thing I've come to really appreciate now having two cars done here is their willingness to fix issues that arise after installation. One of my cars had an installation done more than a year ago and one of the lights went out. I drove it in and mentioned it and they checked it out immediately. I took my 29-year-old Crown Victoria here because of three non-working lights in the instrument cluster. Eddie and Jaime spent what must have been several hours taking apart the cluster, checking bulbs, circuit traces, wiring, etc. In the end, they weren't able to solve the quirky problem, but as a result they adamantly refused to take any payment at all despite the time they put in. While I was there, I saw samples of the high-end work they do on newer cars, and I would also add that Eddie and Jaime are a pleasure to talk to. Living in Hollister I took my 2016 Chevrolet Silverado to three different mechanics including the Chevrolet Dealership to fix my HID headlight that went out because of a short. Great place. I took my mitsu eclipse to have my headlights restored and they came out great, very clear. And also had my bulbs replaced for brighter vision and came out looking mean and clean. My only complain would be the car wrap. I had my hood, roof, and trunk wraped in their carbon fiber vinyl in april and now it has began to peel on all three parts. To be honest, my trunk is very complicated to wrap and i was informed by the technician that it was gonna be uneven and i understand. But the hood was what bugged me since it was the one that peeled the most and began first. They guarantee all their work, most up to a year. I can't say enough about the great service and prices that this family business offers. I met Eddie and his dad at the Santa Cruz flea market. He told me that HID lights would really make a difference and sold me a set, installed, for $85, half what you would pay anywhere else. He was right. I was sold. No more dark streets. No more skateboarders popping out of nowhere. So I went back to his store for more. I'll never drive a car without a great LED system again and why not pay half? They installed interior and exterior LEDs...the price was ridiculously low. They also buffed out the plastic on the lights, something I see other places charge more than $100 to do for each. He did all for $50 total. To top it off, he offers a lifetime guarantee on the lights, the ballasts and the work. In some places, that might be unbelievable. But having followed him for a year now, I know that his word is gold. So, is it worth the drive from Santa Cruz or San Jose to Salinas? I have to say yes.
