Yesterday my battery was dead because I left the interior lights on so I called him to ask how do I get to the battery. He didn't tell me on the phone but rather came to help me and my father out. He even taught us how to use my portable charger if I ever need to jump start my car again. He had me drive car around for 30 minutes then go to his shop to test battery in case I needed a new one. He explained and showed me the calibration. My father was so impressed that he has hired Joe to do major work on Dads Tahoe. Also my daughter has an appointment next week for her Kia. Took my Acura Tl to get my coilovers installed which they did a wonderful job. Then I decided to get new wheels a few weeks back so when I decided to get my new wheels installed and to adjust my Coilovers it was a no brainer to take it back to Cal suspension. Think twice before bringing anything to this place. I took in my blue 1996 gmc Sierra 1500 for power steering vacuum and pressure hoses. My truck was running just fine when I dropped it off. When I picked it up my truck was running like crap so I took it back 10 minutes later and there was a spark plug wire disconnected. The fact that the mechanic drove it from the shop floor to outside running this way and still called me that it was "ready" goes to show the level of work these guys put in. read more

Late review, but just wanted to say that this place is amazing! The owner took me in on such short notice, and my truck had some serious brake issues. Came in, checked everything out and went step by step to explain everything that was wrong and what needed to be done. Pricing was super reasonable! Owner is a really nice guy, down to earth. He was able to explain the pricing for the diagnostic and let me know the next steps. Once I got the tow set up, I had the car sent to his shop. My father Had referred me to Cal Suspensions. The service was phenomenal. Was greeted immediately and asked if I had been helped yet. I said no I had just arrived. (Joe) the owner then asked what I would like to have done on my truck. And I responded just an alignment. Long Story but worth it: Me, my wife and our 1 year old had just flown to Arizona to pick up a truck and trailer from my dad and we were driving back from Mesa, AZ to Salem, OR. We decided to stop in Monterey Bay when BOOM something goes out in my truck. I'm not a car guy but I know something is wrong. So I haul out of town to neighboring Seaside and pull in immediately to a chain auto shop. They look at our truck and come back with a list of things wrong and a $4,000 quote. We are floored. We don't have this money and are panicking. We get to a motel to sleep it over and try to figure out what we are going to do because we are now stuck with a broken truck, a trailer and our 1 year old son. That night by some miracle we find Joe 15 miles away. We talked that night on the phone and that next morning he personally arranged us a tow truck and came to pick us up and haul our trailer with his own vehicle. We get to his shop and they welcome us in like family. He immediately starts diagnosing the problem and not only debunks everything the previous shop said but finds the real problem that the previous shop never even found. He also pointed out that they tried to sell us a part that our truck doesn't even have. Joe was able to get us back on the road that day for a fraction of the cost. This chain auto shop tried to take advantage of me and my family because we were stuck. Joe and his guys took us in like family and got the job done right.
