Very relaxing setting to have a self serve parts store - you can smell the ocean air and view a lot…read moreof nature and trees in the surrounding areas. Also, there are lots of cats in the yard - that can be an amenity if you like four legged furry friends. TDI jetta and a B4 Passat wagon... a w123 - all good stuff and very hard to find. Grabbed some bits and pieces for the cars - and even my w210. Went before all the recent rain - thats really the thing to do especially if you want interior parts. Let me tell you the cars on the yard can get funky real fast if they have wet interiors. Its not for the faint of heart. Roll up your sleeves, have some decent shoes your not too concerned about and bring more tools than you think you will need. Professionals have their pack out on wheels. I'm not to that level (yet). I enjoy tinkering with cars and its a good hobby I suppose. I don't know - free time becomes less and less... And Mr Moose is getting needy for attention. Prices can get a little steep. If its a small part where shipping isn't such an issue check ebay first - especially if your comfortable with taking the part off already. Overall better selection than bay area yards - worth the drive. If you have big ticket items maybe wait for a half off day.

It was so awesome. It literally took longer to do the paperwork. It was such a huge weight lifted off my head. The driver vendor#83 man he made that looks so easy. And the car was first parked. It was like three hour long process. The guy broke two different things. But when it finally left my property. It was so quick and easy and it was so worth selling my car to pick and pull thank you. Unique because of the personal service they give. The guys at Townsend Auto Electric are very helpful and knowledgeable. Recently I needed to buy an air control valve for my car and I had a price of $347 from the dealer. I went to Townsend because they've always done a computer search to help me find parts that were more reasonably priced. I walked out the door after paying $219 for the same part. They saved me $122! That's impressive! I've also bought parts for my classic car there! They sold me chrome lug nuts that I couldn't find anywhere else. And guess what? They have them in stock! I highly recommend the store for your automotive needs! Try it out... And save a chunk of change and remember... You'll always get service with a smile!

Nice that there are still some old school auto parts stores around. Needed some brake rotors…read moreturned and had trouble finding an auto parts place that would do it. Not only do these guys do it, it's $25 each, which is a great deal. New rotors would have cost me over $100 each, so big savings. While the chain stores have a bunch of younger guys with a little bit of training, the guys that work here know what they are doing, and they've been doing it a long time. I'm glad these guys are here in my town, and I hope they stick around for a long time.
