We were very pleasantly surprised to find such great ambiance at Inner compass. My wife and I ordered a selection of appetizers for lunch and found every one to be delicious. The variety of beers was amazing with the descriptions, ABV and prices clearly posted on a video billboard. Our server also offered a sample before buying to make sure that I would enjoy what I ordered.. My wife ordered a Blood Mary which was exceptional. I've had the opportunity to frequent this establishment multiple times. The food (I've had the wings, burgers and seafood) is always delicious with plentiful portions. The service (Analia) is prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. The owner (Susan) regularly checked-in for satisfaction level (high). In addition, the beer selection is plentiful with a range of offerings for all tastes. We are considering Internal Comapss for our employee "Welcome Back" invitation as the atmosphere guarantees a joyful evening. read more

Our food was delicious! We had a gluten free chicken bacon ranch pizza, chopped cheese sandwich, fried green tomato blt, chicken Caesar wrap, and fish and chips. The chicken Caesar wrap needed a little more dressing, but we got some and it was good! The beers were good: mimosa cider, pink beer, and family tradition. It is a very cool environment. We sat on the back patio. There was a playground for kids, cornhole boards, etc. Service was good and food came out quick! read more

I'm giving 4 stars because the French fries were delicious. Pepsi instead of coke products which is eh but once I can drink beer again that won't matter. Pizzas good but a little burnt taking away from the overall taste but loved the non burnt crust pieces. You could tell it was homemade. Cheeseburger eggrolls delicious! Beer selection looked good and they had a nice outside area. Nice addition to the community! read more

walked in and immediate bad vibes. my cousin's husband was holding the door open for a group of nine of us and yells at him that he needs to shut the door "so bugs don't get in." this guy is the front face of this place and we immediately wanted to leave. he forced us to sit at a table and when I asked if we could just order beers from the bar he literally said "no." hurried us, made us feel awkward and unwelcome. everyone else was nice but this one dude ruined it for this place. goodluck to anyone who encounters him. definitely not going back. cheers! read more

Friends and I took a day trip out east to this new brewery. We had such high hopes. The outside of the building is GORGEOUS! Upon entering, we assumed we were supposed to seat ourselves since there was no hostess to greet us. As we were trying to decide where to sit, the hostess asked if we needed a table. She was pleasant and cheery. Our party sat for some time and several servers walked by us. Our hostess walked by and noticed that no one had a beverage. We said no one had waited on us. She assured us that she would get a sever. Someone came by and said that the hostess was incorrect and that she wasn't our server. I spoke with the bartender and she was lovely. Our server came to the table to get our orders. The beers were okay. Several in house stouts, one kolsch, and one saison. We also ordered food. The young man that brought the food wore the same glove the entire time, wiped his nose, pulled his pants up, and then delivered food all with the gloved hand. We'd asked for additional condiments that never came. The best part of the place was the gentleman who seemed to be bussing tables. He offered to get us more beverages. He informed us that there was live music outside. He was so kind and pleasant. Ultimately, it just felt very chaotic and d a lot of finger pointing as to who was at fault. No one took ownership of a problem and no one was quick to resolve anything. We won't be returning. read more

Terrible meal - my husband's $17 Philly cheesesteak had two bites of burned steak on each half and my $17 chicken salad had very little chicken that I think was precooked. I guess they just want to sell beer so skip this place if you are looking for a passible meal. read more

First time here. All in all, a good experience. Service was excellent Only my husband had a flight of four beers, which is said were very good. The place was empty; perhaps five tables filled within one hour. Food was very good, but is also very traditional bar venue. Hopefully they'll get a few more sandwiches/etc. on the menu with a little more flair. Sadly, as we all know in business, location, location, location, is key, and this place is not in a good place. Thus, we believe it's going to have a hard time 'making it', unless they plan to sell their crafted beers. Ambiance was delightful, restaurant was very clean (only open one week), and ample free parking. We'll most likely be back, but there needs to be more than the crafted beer to attract us, and possibly other/new patrons. We wish them well. read more

Inner Compass just recently opened and it's quickly becoming a favorite place to go. Great selection of beers and ciders and really great food! A must try is the burger with Swiss and mushrooms and the steak and cheese sandwich. They have home made potato chips and great big, cold salads. There is music on weekends and corn hole and games for the kids. Lots of TVs for sports and this is the perfect place for Sunday games. read more

They have low carb pizza. The wings were OK, but not great. HCK has the best wings ever in Sarasota. Gianni's down the 64 has great baked wings, the healthiest choice. Great local eatery. My wife and I visited for an early dinner and were very pleased with every aspect of our visit. We are not drinkers, so we cannot comment on that side of their business. However the food and service was excellent. Nice selection on the menu, many of which you would expect to find in a tavern but with some really interesting and tasty twists. The pork shanks and zesty cauliflower appetizers were very, very good. My wife had the impossible burger which didn't disappoint and I made a meal of the shanks. No description of the beers, you have to scan to see the list or watch the changing reader board, need more shuffle boards, not thrilled doing anything outside when there is an alligator warning sign. Onion rings as an appetizer so so flavorful. Lots of room. Wish there were adult games. read more
