Support this business at all cost! They are doing everything right. Local, sustainable and delicious food. They have easy counter service where you order at the counter and they give you a number. The service was helpful and quick. Pigfish is located inside Calusa brewing (which is also worth checking out!) they have seating options inside and outside. When you arrive there is a lot more parking around back. The menus were easy to read and there was live music playing inside.

Here's a great team: Head Chef/Culinary Guru/Chocolate Chip cookie master Erin with the real boss, Kathy of Wynnewood, PA!

Back again for THE PIGFISH Signature Sandwich, Hushpuppies, and the new Fried Green Tomatoes, accompanied by an old favorite Citronius, then a Berliner . This remains the most scrumptious fish sandwich in all of the Florida Gulf Coast, and the fried green tomatoes are a great new dish! The hush puppies were as authentic as what I enjoyed in North Carolina, the world's epicenter of all things hush puppy! And their chocolate chip cookies are huge and unbeatable! Keep up the great work, Erin and Wynnwood Cathy: see you again soon!

Pigfish. OH. EM. GEE. Pigfish is absolutely amazing! We stopped at the new Calusa Brewing location and beyond having amazing beers, we needed to get some amazing food to match! The food came out fast, but you can tell everything was made in house and super fresh. Kathy is an absolute gem as well. She'll take really good care of you!

My husband and I have eaten here twice while visiting Calusa and it does not disappoint. I actually haven't tried their seafood but plan to on the next visit. Absolutely love their vegetarian, house made, black bean burger. Great flavor variety and super fresh. We've tried both of their fries and they're also great. My husband has enjoyed their burgers and chicken sandwich. Such a great way to have lunch or dinner with a fresh craft beer inside (or outside) the brewery. Cant wait to return!

I liked my food. I ordered their signature sandwich called The PigFish, a blue Cobia fish sandwich with in addition to the typical lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle toppings, included a good amount of bacon tartar sauce. The two firm pieces of fish were what they describe "house blackened", which I didn't notice but I often don't notice lightly blackened fish seasoning. The sandwich came with a side, I selected their side Caesar, which I was also satisfied with. My wife was less impressed with her Fish & Chips, an oily thicky battered fish served with steak fries. PigFish is an order at a counter including providing a phone number, and you pick up your food when you get a text that it's ready. I did see a couple of people that looked like servers, but they must be part of the Calusa Brewing Taproom. The tables are shared between the two parts of the business. There was live entertainment, a three piece group playing lounge style music. I liked listening to it. Our timing may have been bad, when we figured out what we wanted and headed to the counter, there was a line that took 15 minutes, followed by another 15 minutes before our food was ready. I saw other times there was no line. For us it was a 30 minute wait.

My wife and I stopped here over the weekend. Located in the Calusa Brewing Taproom. They have their own counter to order the food. We ordered a PigFish which is crispy braised pork with fixings on a 8" Hoagie. Very tasty but not worth $24. My wife ordered a Beef & Cheddar for $19.This sandwich is made with Braised Short Ribs grilled onions, Cheddar and their secret sauce. This was also very tasty. They share the interior with the bar and it's nothing special. If the prices don't bother you I would definitely give it a shot.

Came in for a late lunch. Not many people here. Table ordered two lunch special double smash burgers with a side of fries and a salad and two diet cokes. The food was really quite excellent - everything fresh, hot and perfectly cooked. The beef was definitely a higher quality than the usual restaurant burger. Chocolate cookie was just okay. With tip and tax, it was $61. Kind of high for counter service lunch, but much tastier than a chain burger.

So good. Great beer, great food. Super fun to hang out and get a quick bite and a drink. Their interpretation of a po boy is good, though I wish it was bigger. The bread is excellent. The Nashville fish sandwich is good, though I wish it was spicier. The pigfish is yummy. I like the wedge fries more than the seasoned fries. The blistered shishitos are fun to eat. Highly recommend.

We've dined here twice and enjoy the ability to get a good meal along with our Calusa brews. The menu is a little pricey, but offers a good selection of seafood and sandwiches. The Nashville fish sandwich is our favorite - the bread has the perfect amount of crisp and the spice is just right. My little one also really enjoyed her massive kids chicken sandwich. I would avoid anything fried here - both the fish and chips and hush puppies had a greasy, oily flavor to them. The hushpuppies are a sort of funnel cake fluff to them that was odd. Overall, pigfish has lots of positives and we will continue to try their menu when we visit Calusa.

Some games in room off to side near patio.

However, I feel $39 for a dozen of, very very small, Parmesan garlic oysters on the half shell very expensive. I'm not a big guy, and I personally could've eaten four dozen at those sizes plus my own entree. Overall for two entrees, two local beers, and one appetizer the bill was $135. Quite a bit steep for the amounts served. Kind of the amounts and prices I'd expect to see somewhere not near the ocean like Atlanta. Would I go there again, meh, not impressed enough. My rating would be 7/10. Going elsewhere this evening.

Our table was nice and our server was friendly. The menu was varied, but of course triple tail was their specialty. We started out with warm crunchy rolls with butter and cinnamon butter. Thankfully, I was very pleased to find the opposite. The restaurant is very welcoming and comfortable. There are nice design touches throughout. Service - here is where I am a bit conflicted. We were a party of 4 who arrived 30 prior to our reservation with the goal of having a cocktail first at the bar. Fortunately there were seats available and we very much enjoyed our drinks and service at the bar. In fact, our bartender was very welcoming and she is a very good mixologist. On the other hand, our server for dinner started out on a positive note. However, once our order was taken and food delivered, he never stopped by until we had finished our meals. This is a very big negative for me when I am dining at an upscale restaurant. Food - There were at least 8 entrees that looked appealing to me. In the end, I ordered the Crab Stuffed Tripletail entree. This meal was as good as advertised! It was cooked to perfection and sauce was delicious. The entree included a salad and I chose the spinach salad and it too was very. Overall - while I could make a case for a 4 star rating (due to the disappointing experience with our server), in the end the many positives far outweighed the one negative.

The fish dish, which I don't remember the name of, came out in a very tomatoey sauce, and it was supposed to be more of a New Orleans style. It was tasty and the fish was tender. We picked this restaurant for the great reviews and wanted to celebrate our anniversary but Duval's disappointed. The Calamari was not fresh, it was very chewy and every piece was tough as boots. It was difficult to eat as an appetizer. My girls steak was ordered medium rare, looked like it was more medium when cut into. It certainly needed the demi glaze because it was not seasoned at all, flavorless and a very dry filet. I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. Half a tail and somehow I swallowed a piece of shell that was mixed into the pasta and got lodged in my throat. All in all, disappointed with the food.
