Found this business on Yelp. Found they had the refill toner I was looking for after calling them from Fry's, who didn't have it. I did this to avoid driving somewhere else and being told they don't have it either. Location was easy to find. The gentleman at the counter was really nice and already had my item ready for me. Since it was a refill I thought I would have to wait, but no, we just swapped my empty toner cartridge for an identical one that had already been refilled. I've been a customer with Ink Jet Lab going on 4 years. Not only have I saved a bunch of money, I've supported a small business that should be the model business and team member for all printer manufacturing companies. Firmware downloads have made refills nearly impossible, so I stopped using software updates from HP. From what I've heard, Cannon does not use firmware to prevent ink cartridge refills. Over the years, I've requested Javier's expertise and experience and have benefited by his input. He is thoughtful and generous in ensuring I receive an excellent functioning refill. At times, he did so at his cost and I greatly appreciate his value. This business is an oasis in the manufacturers desert. Javier deserves huge support for his work to keep ink rates reasonably priced. It's also great to know there is a trustworthy printer repair locally. p.s., I'd love to refill check printing ink at Ink Jet Lab. He's helpful, almost always availble willing to stay late or make a run to the manufacture for me, and even took lazer cartridges back for a full refund on my first order from him (I didn't realize I ordered the wrong ones until I'd opened the black and tried to insert it). I called and told him about how we were out and staples had been a nightmare to see if he could help. He had to order the lazer toner from his manufacture but had it in the store ready for me to pick up within the next hour! He always calls right back or within 2 hours to tell me it's ready. He keeps info on file but knows me every time he sees me, is always in a great mood and is super helpful if you have any printer issues. I can't recommend him enough!!! I tell everyone I know to go here or call him. You can't go wrong and he'll save you money!! read more

I love Ink Jet Labs! I print a ton and they guys have saved me big bucks over the years! I have an HP printer and they have all the colors I need ready to go and in stock! Much cheaper too than anywhere! The quality of the ink is great and I see no difference from the HP brand. Also use a postage machine for my business and Ink Jet Labs can special order my ink for about half the price! In a nut shell LOVE THEM!!! read more

Finally ... a place that repairs printers at a reasonable price and has quick and very friendly service. I searched and searched for printer repair shops in North County and could only find mobile repair businesses that wanted an arm and a leg to send a tech out to do the repairs in my home. I had resigned myself to the fact that it would probably be cheaper just to buy a new printer rather than pay more for repairs than I had originally paid for the printer itself, when I found Inkjet Lab on the internet. I called the shop and was greeted by Javier who was really friendly. I explained what was wrong with my printer and he said that they had a $35 minimum and that it would probably cost me $45. Wow ... only $45 - I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I loaded up the printer and brought it down to their shop immediately. A little more than 3 hours later and Javier called to let me know that my printer was working. He even cleaned it up to look like new. I'm very pleased with the service and the price I got from Inkjet Lab. I'll be recommending them to everybody from now on. read more
