Jamie, the PROUD owner of this FABULOUS salon for over 26 years, once again performed nothing short of a "MIRACLE" on my thick, damaged hair that I have a tendency to "hack-up" my bangs or chop off some ridiculous cowlicks that have gotten worse over the years!! I'm truly a "challenge" client, but Jamie never scolds me (LOL!), and just uses her GREAT TALENT to make me feel beautiful and confident once again until my next appointment with her in about two months for another MIRACLE!! Jamie's ENTIRE team are all extremely talented, friendly and well educated in ALL of the very latest techniques of not only hair services, but nails, pedicures, massage therapy, facials, make-up lessons and application, waxing, scalp treatments.....I could go on for days, LOL!! If you desire the VERY BEST in beauty treatments, including hair.....look no further than this AMAZING 5 STAR salon/spa in Hartford, WI....."You're WORTH it"!!!

The lady who answered the phone was so rude all the while she was talking to me and I got the feeling from her tone of voice and her short snappy answers to my questions that I was bothering her or interrupting something mire important than a me. I will not be going to cost cutters in Hartford for any service due to this person. There are many other hair salons in the area.

I then told her it's too light and want to go with a darker shade. She came back with some color swatches for me to choose from. My hair turned out too reddish now and she completely missed some of the roots. I was charged for a full coloring and on top of that, an extra $22 charge for the toner. Completely wasted my money for something I could have done at home much cheaper and efficient!!!

That said, I would say consistently the quality of work is on par with some spas that I pay 3x s as much more. Most important I don't leave with cuticle cuts. I hate those. And I hate it when the nail tech tries to pretend it did not happen. Nail gaslighting . I have not experienced such a thing at Gigi Nail's. I wear simple nail polish and they don't charge $5 to remove it. Most important to me is that the place does not regularly smell like an acetone factory. I get a basis Mani- Pedi - so I cannot attest to the more complex services. I do get my eyebrow arch done at Gigi's. Again, no complaints.

We both chose the $40 pedi that ended up being $60 each. gel nail polish was $15 extra! for this selected package it included nail and cuticle trim, soak in blue water. sugar scrub, menthol clay that only goes on the front of your legs, hot wet towel wrapped around them, scrubbed with purple scrubby, and painted. the tech didn't scrape off dead heel skin at all . some salons use a grater some use a heel shaver but they did neither. when she scrubbed the heel she did it so lite that it did nothing. So i left with dry dead skin heels. i kept getting burned by somthing in the tub soak it felt like hot metal. for the both of us it was $125 dollars. i thought that was really pricey considering the condition of my heels when we left. the best part about this pedi was the nail polish color selection and time spent with my daughter.
