(Dw, from the inside, you can see outside well) Drinks were really good and carefully made, song selections were unique! We ended up chatting with one of the customers there too. Chill atmosphere 10/10 recommend. There's also free wifi here, signal isn't very good. :) Parked in free street parking about a min walk away.

Wait outside on the sidewalk (no exterior seating) and someone will come to take you inside. Do not ring the door bell. The theme is to take it slow. Each customer typically waits 20-30 minutes to enter as part of how they do things, even if there is open seating inside. Not sure if they use a timer to space entries but it seems consistent. They take one group in at a time. Interior: A few tables around the wall and then bar seating. Would not recommend for parties greater than 2, there just isn't the space. They welcome service animals, babies/children and strollers from what I observed. The music was very, very loud. It was difficult to hold a conversation. I did not see a bathroom. Ordering process: After seating you wait for a little bit for them to bring small water cups and a QR menu with a table number and a set of rules. They do not have a physical menu, you must use your phone to order. Cell phone reception was dicey and took a long time to load. They have an interesting concept where you have a digital 'tab' open on their toast website. Unfortunately you must provide your full name, email and phone number. They have pour over drinks (note these can take 15-20 minutes), matcha, Hojicha and others. You may only order one drink per person at a time. They have a small snack menu with rotating foods. They use oat milk only. No substitutions allowed. After mobile ordering, drinks take 20-30 minutes as part of their take it slow vibe. Matcha $8 is from Paru tea and was very good. Hojicha $8 was too milky and didn't have a strong enough flavor. When you are done you walk to the register by the door and wait to be checked out. If they are making a drink you wait until they are finished. I wasn't really a fan. Staff were brusque. Music was too loud to converse.

They helped us out and we were able to redeem it. We got a coffee and a banana bread for items with the admission price. They recommended us not to take the food in since they have a cat that's food obsessed heehee. We loved petting the kitty's and laying with them. They have some energized cats and some chill ones. They have elder cats and younger kittens. It was a lovely experience to pet the cats and give them some love. Maybe someday we will adopt one! I'd return!!

Each reservation cost about $24.00. That includes an hour of time with the cats, and a drink/snack from the café per person. My partner got a chai latte, and I grabbed a brown sugar(?) cinnamon roll. Both were very good! Special thank you to the barista for the recommendation and the delicious drink. The play-room itself was very nice, with plenty of seating, toys, and CATS! Even with six other guests in the same hour, there was plenty of everything to go around. As with any group of animals (and people), each had their own personality and preferences. JC stayed perched on the palm tree and loved to get pet. The older Bengal cat didn't like being touched, but was a joy to watch. Tatiana (pictured on the table) was slow to warm up to us, but loved to play with the cat dancer. There were about ten cats altogether. The employee inside clearly cares about each cat. He explained the rules clearly, shared the names and habits of each kitty, and was a pleasant guide. Thanks for a great start to our afternoon! See you again soon.

Tender Hooligan has been in business since 2024 and it's known for its unique blend of high-fidelity vinyl listening, specialty coffee, craft beer, and cocktails. The audiophile cafe and bar is located next door to La Pesca Cevicheria on Third Ave. We had a 45 minute wait time for dinner at La Pesca and ordered a few drinks while we waited for table. Tender Hooligan functions as a community hub with a record store, themed spaces, and events like live music and game nights, offering a cozy, eclectic atmosphere for working, socializing, or enjoying music. The menu features unique drinks like the Ube Espresso and Jeepney Latte, alongside food and a selection of soju cocktails. I ordered a beer michelada. It's such a fun hangout check it out!!

We got everything in it, and added avocado for $1. The peperoncini was free to add on the side. The sandwich was yum, but for $7, it is the best I've ever eaten. Service: 4.5/5 The person who took our order was so kind, offering us water when we didn't order any drinks and making sure we needed nothing else while we ate. Atmosphere: 4.5/5 It's so so cozy in here! I think it turns into a bar after dark, and the place is the right ambiance for both AM and PM. It was decently packed, and there are games to borrow! I would recommend this place for a casual lunch, a coffee run, or a third-space hang out. Amazing, no notes. Final rating: 4.67/5 (rounding up to 5 on Yelp)

Tickets were purchased on-line, they allowed an hour beforehand to mingling. The layout was a little different from the last event I attended but it still felt intimate and cozy. I greeted friends, grabbed a NA bevie some mango deliciousness and parked my bottom at the closest table. The speakers topic was Crayons over Constitution so she provided us with blank poster board and crayons to doodle which I was totally happy to partake in. Mid presentation, I grabbed the other NA bevie, fruit punch of some sort. It was a wee bit too sweet for me, I should have gotten the mango bevie again but you never know what you'll like of you don't new things right? The event was incredible, I already requested to host to book her again. The venue is really awesome for small group events. I got to meet the manager/owner at the end of the evening and she was delightful!

I have not been here since they opened in the 90's and I'm glad this spot is still alive and kicking. The portions are generous and the staff cranked out our two dishes within 15 minutes. There are tables on the outside with a view of Crystal Pier and the beach. The tables inside gives you a view of the foot traffic on the boardwalk. Parking is tight around this area. We ended up paying for parking in the next block. I got the big breakfast number one. It is generous enough for two adults. Two pancakes, two strips of crispy bacon, English Muffin, potatoes covered in ooey and gooey mounds of cheese. It was tasty and hit the spot. My wife got the breakfast burrito. I washed my food down with a cup of OJ. They also have coffee but no decaf coffee. Here's the workflow, order at the counter, get a table, the staff will deliver your meal to your table inside or outside. From the outside it looks like a laid back beach restaurant, but the food prepared here is more than meets the eye. There is a reason there is usually a long line, the food sells itself. If you get the chance put this place on your hit list. Enjoy!
