We did the "dinner and show" deal with the Westin downtown which is just a 2 minute walk from the Civic Theatre where we watch our niece's ballet. You pay $10 for 5 hours of valet parking and also get 20% off your check which is a great deal. I had the local catch with risotto. The fish was not overcooked and the risotto was perfect. A lot of options for the kids which was a plus. The food is standard American fare but it was good and not too expensive for a hotel restaurant. I think the breakfast would be a better deal if you want to eat a full breakfast. If you just want a little bite, then order from the menu. Ambiance has a modern feel, which blends well with the hotel decor. What I had: Dry Bird - This mocktail has ginger beer and is a nice non alcoholic alternative to add to your meal. This was sweeter than expected and would have preferred a less sweeter drink. Smoked Potato Leek Soup - Warm, comforting and creamy. I liked that it had a taste of bacon in it. Chicken Jidori Scallopini - Perfectly seared and juicy pieces of chicken paired with mushrooms and greens. I had some leftover so I'll be having it again for lunch! Pan Seared Chinook Salmon - This is a fatty salmon but still flaky and light. The salmon isn't pink but the waiter explained that due to the fat content, it's a white color. Kiwi Mille Feuille - This is a flaky dessert with cream in between. It was nicely sweet and you can either pick it up and eat like a taco or use a fork and knife. We decided on this place because the menu looked good, reviews were largely positive, and was nice and secure in a hotel. I was delighted to hear about the Beetlejuice themed pre fixe option. After looking it over I decided to give it a try. My partner ordered a mixed drink and his entree. After about 10 minutes of lively conversation we realized we have not been served a single beverage let alone the soup that came with my meal. I was starting to lose hope in the wait staff so we flagged down the nearest employee who happened to be James the manager. Our favorite dishes were the brussels sprouts and the fries on every plate. The brussel sprouts were very crispy, and it came with goat cheese and pancetta. The steak was cooked to medium rare, which was juicy and great. I think the salmon was a little too dry but you guys can make that decision yourself. 這一家是我們臨時挑的餐廳，一開始朋友還擔心因為是在飯店裡，可能很貴，結果進去，不只環境優雅，東西真的是出乎意料的好吃，他們的薯條，炸的也太棒了吧，可能是我吃過最好吃的前五名薯條，芹菜Pokey就蠻好吃的，我的魚做的也很棒，漢堡我沒有吃到，但是朋友都說很好，披薩也不錯，總之每道菜都很有水準，服務態度也很好，非常推薦的一家餐廳 read more
