Couldn't give you a zero so I give you a one. Recently moved near this nail salon, was very excited to try this place out because of how easily accessible it was to me and I was deeply disappointed. I understood I had difficult hands going into the appointment (my middle finger nail and pinky nail currently growing back from an accident). As Maria (a new nail tech of a year of experience ) started my nails she globbed on the acrylic and she kept telling me to ,"trust the process" and ,"don't worry I'll file it down" as she filed with her e-file it was so thick there was no turning back. What was I going to say ,"soak these off and give me another nail tech?" At the end of the service I asked for a simple French tip which she only drew a line at the bottom and I asked for something that was painted on the sidewalls. She tossed me over to a lady named Kim and I asked if she could file them down more because i understood she was little experienced and she said you should have asked the girl or you're going to have to start over (I'm 2 and a half hours in now for an acrylic overlay). Very unprofessional. I wasn't turning back and then Kim told me she didn't have enough time and turned me over to another girl! This girl finished painting the nails and I left. I came home and all night my thumb was throbbing and swollen. I looked this morning and a small chunk of my nail was taken out from the e file and my cuticle is raw. Wouldn't let me leave 0 stars. We had Ann and she didn't do what we asked for. My sister in law and I went to get a pedicure and a manicure. The pedicure was alright but overpriced. When we got to the manicure we asked for a design but the tech didn't seem too happy about it. We ended up deciding on doing a solid color and she was very excited. They got started on doing our tips and the gel was applied too thick. Then the nail tech couldn't get the shape right. I'm normally not one to complain and have never had this bad of an experience. We let them know about the shape and then asked them to fix it. They kept filing from the same side that was already slanted. We asked nicely a few times to fix it but then Ann got defensive and blamed my finger for being tilted. She then said we just can't see our nails correctly and that her eyes couldn't be wrong. This place is a hidden gem, I wanted to try a new nail shop and looking around I found this place that was literally right up the street from my house. I called to see if they had any availability and they were able to squeeze me in right away. The shop is nice and the ladies working there are nice as well. I got my pedicure done by Fatima and she is amazing truly the best pedicure I have ever gotten. Mikaela did amazing! She was very thorough in getting to know me and what I want. She gave me a specific color blend that works for me and the line of work I do and took great care of my short nails. The equipment and a lot of the aspects of the salon are brand new. I especially love the brand new massage chairs! They were so nice about my daughter being scared of the pedicure tub so they accommodated for my husband and I to take turns. The massage was amazing and the toe nail polish dried fast. They charged me $45 for my 6 y/o mani/pedi where they literally just painted her nails and took MAYBE 20 minutes with her. I called and made an appointment and I asked about how they would remove my acrylic and the lady on the phone said they would drill it down and then soak it off. I told her that I wanted a new set, soak off and nail art. I assumed that she would give my appointment enough time. But when I arrived Linh was eating lunch which is fine I only waited a few minutes after my appointment time. She started clipping the acrylic off and I said I thought you guys soak them off. She said there not enough time for that, it would take a long time to soak them off. That's why I called and asked because if they said they don't soak off then I would have made an appointment somewhere else, it's not a big deal if they prefer to clip them off. They just should be honest on the phone so that people like me would know that this is not the salon for me. Not sure why they would lie on the phone because don't they know that most people will leave a review on Yelp and on their social media platforms? It would be best if they just told the truth on the phone so they can avoid a bad review. Anyways it was a bit painful when she was clipping them off and drilling them down and sticking a fake nail in between to lift it up. I thought it wasn't that bad so I figured I'd just stay. But when she was drilling them down it started to hurt and my natural reaction is to pull away. She got annoyed with me and said just soak them and walked off like I had done something to offend her. When she started filling my nails short, she cut my finger and it started to bleed. So I thought since I don't know how sanitary this place is I should just leave because I don't want to get an infection. I Said I would just pay for what she did and leave. They didn't charge me anything. She made me feel like I was being difficult because it was painful. She even said she was already being gentle. That attitude alone made me not want to continue with her because I'm very generous with my cash tip and gave the lady last month $30 tip for $50 full set. So I'm glad I left because I know I probably would have still tipped her. I'm a nurse and I've learned to be gentle and patient with my clients because everyone pain tolerance is different. I feel like nail tech should also be the same. I don't think this place is looking to retain repeat customers, I think they just want to get paid fast and be quick. I'd rather have someone take their time and charge me extra then rush me and make me feel like I'm being a bother for them. But they are a bit expensive, she was going to charge me $75 for my nail art which I think was pretty simple. I've paid at most for that design $60. They only reason I made an appointment here is because the person I go to moved to Florida. So I'm looking for a new place. read more

I wanted to like this place but my experience was not worth the price and my pedicure does not even look good. I had an older woman who was so gentle I could not feel her doing anything at all to my feet. She didn't cut a single cuticle. I paid for the deluxe pedicure with gel. I wanted my feet to feel soft so I got the callus remover and she barely even scrubbed my feet at all. They still feel very scratchy. She didn't even file my nails. The whole experience was just honestly so uncomfortable and awful. Pedicures are a luxury to be able to get and they are expensive and I feel like I just paid a lot of money to have just gel put on my dirty feet. She had to have someone else paint the gel on because she couldn't and it just felt really disappointing. I don't know if I would go back or not because it was just a really bad first impression and seemed really unprofessional. read more

I have been coming to Infinity Nail Spa for 4 four months. I live in the Bay Area and our county and state is still on lock down per the shelter and place order. Luckily I know someone in the Reno area and she referred me and a few friends to Infinity Nail Salon in the beautiful area of Galen. Living in the Bay Area, there are so many nail salons, which makes it difficult to find a reputable, clean salon when there are easily 3 salons on one street. Like most people, I am selective about where I go to get my nails done so a first person referral is a major plus when my friends and I booked with Infinity. Our first appointment was in May, after 3 months of sheltering and NO nail care available, we were in desperate need of manicures and pedicures. I am not going to lie, I probably would have settled for any nail salon out of desperation but as I mentioned the personal referral set a standard of expectations. My poor fingernails were wrecked after 3+ months of gel polish that were overgrown that I removed my own gel nail polish and was left with a weak nail bed. I started off with a pedicure in the massage chair and it was absolutely amazing! My nail lady gave me the best, most relaxing massage after my pedicure! I choose package no 2 which includes a massage and a gel treatment on my legs. That's not a treatment I usually select at my hometown spa so I was happy to be introduced to it! Next was my manicure. I lost the length of my nails due to removing the gel polish at home. As most salons will tell you - DO NOT remove your own gel polish because you can damage your nails. Mai was my manicurist and she suggested I use the dip color on my nails rather than gel as I had been for so many years. My nails were incredibly short at the time but it's important to paint your nails to keep them strong which will stimulate nail growth. The dip is a process as well, but it is less damaging to your nails compared to gel. After 4 months, my nails were so long, I had to cut them down so I could type. Our nail shops are still not fully open and I still continue to travel to Infinity Nail Salon because of the excellent service. The salon is clean and spacious so if you have a few friends who want to pamper themselves, they have the space to accommodate your party. I would highly recommend Infinity Nail Salon! read more

I am a first time customer. I called the salon and made an appointment with Kymmie. When I arrived, Kymmie was already gone for the day. The owner checked the appointment book and said that I was NOT on the schedule. Mind you, I called the day prior to schedule this. The lady I spoke to on the phone failed to schedule me. She only asked for my name and my requested time. She never asked for my phone number like the other salons do. Although the owner apologized, I am very disappointed and upset at the lack of professionalism. This will be my first and last time visiting Infinity Nails. I recommend that this salon upgrade to an online appointment system. In reply to the business' response below: Yes, you did mention that Kymmie went to urgent care. Caring for the employee is important but caring for the customer is equally important. I recommend that you call the customers to inform them about cancellations. Keep in mind, you also told me when I arrived that my name was not on the schedule book, so you had no idea to expect me, so that is the business' fault for not scheduling appropriately. I made one other appointment before this one weeks ago but had to cancel, so I called out of courtesy to let the salon know ahead of time as I was respectful of your time. I expect the same. Instead of pointing fingers, recognize your faults and make appropriate changes. This is poor business practice. read more
