First escape room I've ever done - had a blast! Would definitely love to visit again!

We signed up for the Magic Cottage 2 days ago and it was one of the best escape rooms we've ever been in. The story is fun, the puzzles are engaging, the room has a cool set up, and the game master was the best! I'm always skeptical of trying new places for escape rooms but this one did not disappoint! Played zombie lab last night and it is one of my new favorite rooms! Despite the fact we thought we were going to fail, we ended up coming out with just under 20mins left! The game master, also the owner, told us we were close to beating the record and had most things figured out within the first 10 minutes. We had the privilege to talk to the owner for a good while after and he is an amazing guy. This place has so much potential to have amazing rooms and the owner was nice enough to share his ideas he had for the building. I am very excited to see what this place has in store for the future and my group and I will be back as soon as the the next escape rooms open here! read more

We had an amazing time doing Dr. Jorges zombie lab. We have done zombie labs in the past but this one was different and probably our favorite. We signed up to do this one for my birthday and had to postpone when our two year old got sick. They were very accommodating at giving us a credit to use another day. This was nice because it was a bit hard to coordinate our group for another day and we were not sure when we'd be able to go back (took about a month). The fact that they were so understanding and helpful gives them WAY more then 5 stars in my book. I have been to 30+ escape rooms and have been really wowed or deeply disappointed. So it's great to say that Infinity Escape was definitely a wow! I rely so much on reviews to pick an escape room that is worth it and the reviews lived up to the hype. We did Magic Cottage with a team of 3. We did escape, but we are also very experienced. I would say to try out other rooms for your first experience before coming to Magic Cottage. You gotta be skilled for this place! It is truly immersive and creative. I love rooms with special effects. I will say that the game masters freely provide directions without being asked and I would prefer to be able to request hints, however, if they didn't do that, we would have never escaped with 5 minutes remaining because we are stubborn about asking for hints. I did enjoy the storyline and that the puzzles are linear. Parking lot is across the street, make sure to check the signs for when you need to pay and when you don't. Located in a safe and nice area as well. May come back for their other room, but I am a scaredy cat so we shall see how it goes! read more

First time going into an escape room, didn't know what to expect. But going with a group of friends working together is the best way to experience it. Infinity escape has great props and atmosphere and the craziest part, all built by only three people. The clues and props were so well put together and the experience was very immersive. If the Renaissance Faire and Disney's Haunted Mansion had a baby, and that baby was raised by a magic-loving Dungeon Master, you would get The Magic Cottage. Fantastic, super high production room that was both eerie and whimsical. I went with my kids (ages 12-17), and we had an absolute blast! The game master's passion was palpable, and we absolutely loved the tactile experience of casting spells and solving the puzzles. And these puzzles were absolutely unique from top to bottom. GO. This is a great game for beginners! We went with a group that everyone did around 1 to 2 rooms and we all had a blast (My husband and I were the only experienced ones and have done 80+ rooms). For more advanced people, it would look more like a 4 star because some of the puzzles are lock and key, but still a nice experience). The game is pretty linear so it's easy to follow the puzzles. The puzzles were not too complicated either. I thought the effects for some of props were a fun add in and the little scare factor really keep some of us on our toes! The owners were welcoming and nice people. Parking wasn't too bad because it was across the street from a parking structure. Overall, I had a lot of fun and would come back to try their next room (which would be released around may or so). read more

We were able to try out their new WIZARD room. This was definitely one of my favorite escape room experiences. Not only were the owners super friendly but they definitely put in their all for it to be an interactive experience. Now the room is on another level, transporting you to another world "the Wizarding World"! From the music to the design you would think it was something straight from Universal Studios. Yes it was on the harder side but I recommend it for everyone of all ages just based on the concept and the beauty of it all. :D They also had different types of locks not just your average lock and key scenario. The puzzles were entertaining and spread out enough that the whole group was able to be involved. But beware! They got me with a couple scares (but the room itself is t scary). This place was so great. I came for the zombie lab escape room with my husband and two friends, and we had a total blast. The two gentlemen we spoke with, Yuric and Jeff (I'm probably butchering their names here-- sorry, guys!), were so cool and so invested in their business, and it certainly showed. The game is fun and intuitive without being overly difficult or gory; it was just the right amount of challenge for us. The props are excellent and every aspect was thoughtfully constructed. I'm definitely interested in coming back when they have their new light/dark magic escape room open... And you should, too. I'd support these guys and their awesome business any day. A super fun spot for couples and families alike! Me, my sister and my friend did The Cottage and we absolutely adored it! It's super well-done and you can tell a LOT of effort was put into making the room by the owner. We got a chance to talk to him after we finished the room (with 38 seconds left lol) and he showed us some additional details that just made the place that much more charming. The room itself was really fun and immersive! The puzzles were pretty linear and cause-and-effect in style, so this would be a great room to do for anyone who's had a little bit of experience with escape rooms and looking for something different. I will say, as someone who's done wizard-style rooms, the technology in this one was the best. It wasn't finicky or sensitive, which is something I usually run into in rooms like these. Overall, a great spot and I definitely want to come back to try the other rooms! read more

Had so much fun playing the Zombie Lab! This marked escape room 226 for us and it definitely challenged our group. The owners were so welcoming from start to finish! They talked to us about how they made certain puzzles and props, and all the little details of the room (which we always appreciate). The zombies looked so realistic and lifelike (minus the life part). You can tell they are super passionate about what they do and it is very evident. We can't wait to come back!! read more

These guys have put a lot of thought into how the Escape Room crowd thinks. They have built a room that, although was not the most challenging I have done, ( the owners did say they were shooting for that) the room still offered sufficient challenges for my brainy group to enjoy. The puzzles are fun and the room interaction is well thought out, and well timed, I might add. What we really enjoyed was that this was not just a room with a bunch of things with locks on them. I have done rooms like that, and they are usually less creatice and less enjoyable. We can't wait for them to design more rooms because the thought they put into the story was definitely considerable. We will be back! read more

Infinity Escape was my 15th escape room, and probably ranks as one of my top 3 favorites. Located in Downtown Fullerton, it's very easy to find (sometimes these escape rooms are in the most random and inconspicuous locations!). I did this room as a group of 5 about a month ago. The Zombie Lab is a theme that I have seen before, but this one had a lot of really clever puzzles and a couple of fun, scary (but not too scary) moments. The decor of this room was great and so realistic--you can tell that a lot of thought and planning went into creating this room. We got out of the room in time, and had so much fun. Our game master was one of the owners and he walked us through some of the puzzles and decor afterwards, explaining the process--you could tell that he had a lot of pride in the room. They are working on another room and we can't wait to try it out once it's ready! read more

My fiancé came in and did a double header of both rooms they offer. These rooms are our 35th and 36th rooms. We started with Dr.Jorge's lab, it definitely had creep factor and the room was decorated pretty cool it was definitely immersive, we just found the puzzles pretty hard to connect together and found ourselves at a stand still quite a bit through the room. Were not huge fans of creepy rooms or rooms with sporadic puzzles so this probably was just us not being good at these games. However the magic cottage room was AMAZING. The entire presentation from start to finish was spectacular. The room was decorated with so much detail, the magic put us in awe and we love rooms that are constantly interactive like this room was. The room was also based on a story line so the puzzles flowed nicely, which we loved! You can tell theres so much love and passion put into this place and it pays off. The game masters for both rooms were lovely to work with. If you haven't played their games yet, i definitely recommend it! read more

Loved both of the rooms! Zombie Lab and Magic Cottage. These rooms remain the favorites of my kids and we have done about 10 in the area. The puzzles were challenging but not impossible for kids 10-13 to follow. Best game master as well! read more
