We checked with a few different companies for a quote for relocation and replacement of our furnace and AC unit. I had the pleasure of dealing with Roy throughout the process and of all the companies we contacted he provided the most information down to earth explanation of what he would be doing. He inspected our current system and advised on what could be replaced and what could be saved in order to reduce the cost. We decided to go with a more efficient system with the view to saving more money in the long run. The entire relocation took about five days from start to finish, including installing a new AC condenser and the building of the furnace platform in the attic. Roy and his team were always respectful of my house and I felt that he was trustworthy. In addition to the relocation Roy added attic lighting and a particle board laid out in the attic to form a path to access the furance. The communication throughout the entire process was second to none and Roy was helpful in providing updates. The relocation of the furnace from our garage cupboard into the attic was handled extremely well, and included a number of redundancies in case of leakage. This was all explained thoroughly by Roy after installation. I will definitely be keeping this company in my list of preffered contractors and use them whenever I need any further furnace issues resolving. read more

Terrible customer service. We shopped around for quotes, with no problems dealing with the first step in hiring someone. The customer service here was rude and dismissive. Immediately crossed off of our list. read more

Furnace wasn't working as we had into these brutal San Diego winters. I knew of ICE from my work. They were the hvac guys for the complex I had a retail store at. Called old landlord got the number and called Roy. The next day he was here and got my furnace working prefect and safely in no time. Roy is just a great guy ,very professional and very knowledgeable. He did a great job and I am completely satisfied with his service. Just fantastic service and the price for repair I thought was completely reasonable especially in todays inflation riddle world. Keep up the great service Roy San Diegan's need you. read more

Jeff installed our new heater and a/c unit in 2016 and did an outstanding job!! He also had to do some duct work!! He was so nice, friendly yet professional all of the time!! Very fair price and excellent quality of work!! I still use him and his company for annual maintenance and I still receive the same quality of professionalism and courtesy as the very first day!! I can't recommend Indoor Climate Experts enough!! read more

They've done work for me and my office and they worked late to get the job done quickly. They gave me professional suggestions to improve the air flow and the economics of my air conditioning and furnace. Yesterday, after we moved our panel to a different part of the office, we blew a fuse and the air conditioning wasn't working on one of the hottest days of the year. ICE wasn't on site, but I called Roy, who answered the phone despite being in an attic. We FaceTimed. He gave me directions and I was able to replace the fuse easily with their help. They're good people and invaluable to my business. read more

They did work on my neighbors house and blocked my driveway with their very large work truck. I had to squeeze my own truck In upon arriving home. When I shouldn't have too in the first place. I'm in the same line of work and in my 20 years of business I have never done this. Also rude tech, when I mentioned this to him. read more

Amazing service. I plan on them being my go to AC company in the future. Would highly recommend.

Got their number from a friend up here in the Country Estates, glad I called. Roy was out here same day and had my AC up and running within a few hours on 106 degree day! The guy's a champ! Really appreciate the response time and quick repair. I completely expected and would have been fine with next few days plus any time for new parts but he was totally prepared and here I am a few hours after it broke down chilling in the AC! Thank you very much! read more

Our two furnaces and AC were a mess. Nothing worked correctly with a bad installation, old dangerous vents and difficult access. We interviewed three reputable companies and each company had different solutions. Jeff had the best solution PLUS he does the work himself. Everything was clean, neat, perfect and professional. He fixed things other companies said were impossible to fix. Give him a shot and you will pick him for the job and not be disappointed. read more

I had an issue with the A/C at my Santee residence. The fan was blowing air but it wasn't giving the cool air it was supposed to. So I contacted Jeff T. from Indoor Climate Experts per a great referral from a friend. Despite me making a last minute call on a Friday (right before a weekend heatwave), he answered and actually came to inspect my A/C unit that same evening (!) He went right to work identifying and resolving the issue, and took the time to thoughtfully answer all of my follow up questions at the end of his long day. Jeff was wonderful to work with, and the inspection/repair cost was really fair. I will definitely be calling I.C.E. again should my A/C need future service. Now my air conditioning works much better, AND I know how to better maintain it going forward. Indoor Climate Experts are serious about the quality of their work and professionalism. Highly recommend! read more

Jeff is an expert an climate control. He's completely transformed our home from unbarebly hot to so comfortable we sometimes don't realize how hot it is outside. Him and his team were friendly and professional. They wrapped up the project on time and did great work. We couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend these guys for your next project! read more

Amazing service and Correy is a great dude! Came out on Labor Day during a heat wave. He diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly and got our house back up and running. Will look for them when I need to replace my ac condensers in the future. read more

These guys are great. Jeff helped me with diagnosing an issue with my commercial AC unit during the heat wave in El Cajon. He was responsive via phone and text. They came by at 9:30PM! They were honest and accurate. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

New AC inside and out. Roy was our guy to give us an estimate and oversee the project. OUTSTANDING - read further on why! I'll tell you the story and to the money ($$) down below. So, Friday night in the sea of summer in between heat waves. The compressor went down with the damn three prong plug failing! Compressor was brunt - dead. We had about five people come out and tell us the same thing, you need a new compressor and your furnace (might be the wrong thing but that's what I'm calling it today - my story ;)_ inside is going to need to be replaced now or soon. Also - it's going to be two to three weeks before we can do the job! And another heat wave was coming in July of 2022 up in Ramona, CA. Roy was the only who thought outside the box. He called back within minutes of leaving and said he could replace the compressor outside and then come back in 3 weeks and replace the unit in the attic. He could complete the compressor portion of the job in three days. His thoughts was to replace the compressor and then we would at least have AC as long as the furnace held out. Low and behold, he worked miracles and we had AC for the next 3 weeks until they came back! The main thing in all this. This was the only place to think outside the box and get things back to operating quickly. This is huge I'd think in this business - thinking outside the box. The other thing, we replaced all the ducting, setup the house right for airflow. There were things in the attic that had to be fixed like framing for the vents and the filter. They completed those tasks without issues even though it wasn't really part of the job. Recently they came back and switched a "dip" out due to some noise while we were running the heater. He came out and looked at it, knew exactly what might be the problem and fixed in two days - lot less noise now and the home is heated. $$ What most people want to know. We've lived in the house for 3 yers (winters) and have only used the fireplace to heat the house. This year I started fires early and have no more wood for the fireplace :(. So I turned on the heater knowing that SDGE raised the rates and was fearful of my bill - very fearful! I've never ran the heater except to make sure it works. My electric bill, SOLAR and SDGE are similar from what the last years were, if only raised by $10. They way I'm looking at this - I've used the heater (A LOT) and it only raised the electric bill $10. He said it was energy efficient - just didn't realize how the old TRANE that was 15 years old sucked all the electricity! Can't wait for summer!!!! So in the end, you can TRUST Indoor Climate Experts (ICE). They're dependable, great customer service, nice/polite, explain stuff - but bottom line - TRUST Worthy! Thank you Roy! read more

It's late Saturday afternoon Labor Day weekend with San Diego experiencing record temps and our AC went down with over a dozen friends scheduled to come to my house tomorrow. The house temp climbed from 78 to 85 degrees in a couple hours. I phoned many companies and left many messages and was dreading the temperatures the following days. Very unexpectedly, someone from ICE calls me after 7pm with a very cheerful voice which in turn cheers me up big time. His name is Roy. There was another job Roy needed to attend to but promised to come after it. Roy was extremely professional but I could also tell he was just a wonderful person of high integrity. He was truly a Godsend in many ways. read more

Roy was our technician and was quick and very professional (including wearing a mask and booties inside our home). During this heat wave, it's difficult to find an available company, but Roy made sure to make time for us so that our AC was working properly again. Thank you so much! We appreciate the great work you do! read more

My central AC at my home in Chula Vista was turning itself off & on. I had service techs from 2 large companies come & look at it. One told me I needed a new AC, furnace & ducts for $19,000 & that I had gas leaks. One told me they could fix it for $4,300 but said that I shouldn't get it repaired but should replace it because it's 15 years old. Thank God my general contractor Ryan of AusCal recommended Jeff the owner of Indoor Climate Experts. Jeff fixed my AC for $657 including parts & labor & said my AC & furnace are in good shape & should probably last for at least a few more years! He thoroughly checked for gas leaks & I didn't have any. He's very kind, honest & knowledgeable & his prices are very reasonable. Thanks to Jeff I didn't replace my system. My AC is working perfectly. From now on, I will only call Jeff for regular maintenance of my AC & furnace & if I have any trouble with my AC or furnace. He saved me thousands of dollars & put my mind at ease. I highly recommend him to everyone, including my son in Spring Valley. Jeff does HVAC repairs & replacements in all of San Diego county. He's the best HVAC tech I've ever dealt with, & I've dealt with quite a few. read more

Called indoor climate experts as the fourth attempt to get my AC fixed. The first three gave me quotes across the board- from $1,400 to $15,000. I'm a single mom and that just wasn't in the cards for me. After a brief chat with jeff, he came out to have a look. Within minutes he had the issue diagnosed and could give me a price that didn't even come close to the absurdities the first three guys gave me. Jeff is professional and honest. I absolutely recommend him if you need an AC repair man! They sure seem hard to come by these days. I'll be holding on to his number. read more

Earlier this year, I needed a new gas heater for my home. I called several companies and Jeff beat them all hands down on his bid. When he came out, he was friendly and got the work done quickly. He did an excellent job. I would recommend him to anyone. Yesterday, I noticed my hot water heater was leaking. I remembered my first contact with Jeff, so I called him to see if he could get this job done for me....and yep...today I have a newly installed water heater that didn't cost me an arm and leg. Thanks Jeff for helping me out with these problems....if something else comes up...you know who I will call. read more

We were thoroughly impressed! Jeff took the time needed to scope out the work as thoroughly as possible, and he explained the options clearly, pros and cons included. When the time came for the installation, he and his crew (including Cody and Al) were thoroughly professional. They found some surprises that they could not have anticipated but rather than cutting corners to get done fast they stayed late and even came on a weekend to get the job done in the window allotted. We were impressed not just with with their work ethic but with the final product: they seemed to reach for the top-most standard in quality of workmanship, and we are thoroughly pleased with the outcome. We would use this company again in a heartbeat - although they seem to have done such a good job that we shouldn't be in the market for another system for a long time to come :) read more

Contacted I.C.E. (Indoor Climate Experts) and reached a very polite office person who scheduled me for Sat. but then soon after I received a call from Jeff T. who offered to come by this evening and did so since the next day was a hot Thanksgiving. I thought that in itself was very nice of him to give up his evening for one more customer. He did a very thorough diagnostic evaluation and explained everything. He had my a/c up and running efficiently. I highly recommend Jeff T. from I.C.E. for your next a/c fix or replacement - they can do it all. I'm a happy camper. Thanks Jeff! read more
