If you haven't been to Indo Fusion yet, then you should!!! Loved their food. Their paneer lasagna is out of this world, so yummy! I also really liked their pesto pasta. Every dish was amazing, and the service was great too. The staff is really sweet and they genuinely care whether you enjoyed the food or not. I have walked by this place many times and finally decided to give it a try on a Sunday night (right after the Seattle Hot Air Balloon event) Shoutout to this place being open late as well! I was quickly greeted and seated for a party of 1. I was bold and decided to not look at any pictures and order based off the menu. We went for the Mexican fusion this time - the enchiladas were a bit more like a chimichanga stuffed with butter chicken- very good. Indofusion was overall really good. My wife and I both enjoyed eating here. I will say the reason I have three starts was because of the service. Our server was not really attentive and for the price we paid, we felt we deserved better service. Overall, our food was delicious. It came out warm and had delicious species that had a very distinguished taste. I had the Indian quesadilla and some naan with cheese in it. My wife had a soup and some other delicious stuff. The vibe inside is very modern, yet casual. You have to be an adult to enter. It is 21+ only. The bar is nice as well. I can see why this place is almost five stars. I don't usually dole out a five-star review that often but it was worth it. The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is nice and was comfortable enough! It's kind of a small place, so on busier nights or likely during lunch there might be a wait. The food came out fast, which is not like any other Indian restaurant I have been too, ha ha... We tried a number of things, all had great flavor and I would recommend trying just about anything on the menu. While it is "Fusion" and I ordered the Enchelada's, they were not anywhere near that. With that being said, they were delicious, whatever you want to call them. Probably the best thing we had was the Gobi Manchurian appetizer. While the fries and the shrimp were also excellent, this was by far the best of the night. The cheesecake is different and highly recommended if you like that kind of thing. The food here is absolutely amazing! Their flavors are so unique, but everything we ate was so flavorful and delicious! I've never seen a place be able to come up with so many different profiles and do it so well. They were able to intricately cater their menu to have Indian spices mixed with different cultural cuisine such as Chinese, Italian, and Mexican. Our favorite dishes were the Butter Sauce Pasta, gobi manchurian, masala fries, chimichurri lamb chops, chicken lollypop tossed in Szechuan sauce. We will most definitely be back here soon. This place is perfect for a date night but make sure you are 21+ to enter in since there is a bar here too. The service here is very fast and kind. They gave us the pineapple bread pudding for free since it was our first time here and probably cause we ordered so much food too lol. Drinks: Chai espresso martini - you can taste a hint of chai and espresso when you drink it. I recommend getting this drink. There are coffee beans on there too for anyone wanting to flick the bean Indofusion - can definitely taste a tropical pineapple juice in this drink. It was a refreshing drink. Appetizers: Gobi Manchurian - the cauliflower was not only so flavorful. It was covered in sauce, but managed to keep its crispy texture at every bite. It is a must have dish! Masala fries - the French fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection. Chicken lollypop tossed in Szechuan sauce - the chicken was so crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and every bite was a symphony of flavors that I didn't want to stop eating. Entrees: Butter sauce pasta with chicken - I've never tasted Indian spiced pasta in my life and it was the tastiest pasta we had from the menu. The sauce was so creamy and full of spice that we couldn't resist wanting to keep eating even though we were really full from our large order. The garlic naan that came with it was buttery, garlicky, and flakey. Malai pasta with chicken - this was a creamy white sauce pasta and it was good too, but if we were to choose we preferred the butter sauce pasta more for their flavor profile. This also came with garlic naan which made the dish so filling. Chimichurri lamb chops - the lamb was so soft and tender. The meat was so easy to cut and eat. There was no hint of gaminess at all and dipping it with the chimichurri sauce was heaven. Dessert: Pineapple bread pudding - this was so yummy and refreshing. The noodles (which I suspect were the no-bake variety) needed to cook a bit longer. The texture wasn't quite right but the overall taste was good. We ordered takeout. The apps we got were the gobi Manchurian and the garlic green beans. My roommate got the chimichurri lamb chops and I got the paneer masala lasagna. Half of the order was pretty good. The gobi Manchurian had a good kick and the lamb chops were cooked well. The chimichurri had sufficient flavor. However, the green beans were almost entirely flavorless and the paneer masala lasagna tasted like cheese with Campbell's tomato soup poured over it. Wow. Parking can be tight on the street, so we appreciated the reasonably priced lot behind the restaurant. We started with drinks and then shared a wonderful mix of dishes: * Butter Chicken (one at 1 star spice, one at 2 stars) -- both flavorful and comforting * Black Pepper Shrimp -- perfectly cooked, and the green string beans were so delicious we all raved about them * Chutney Pesto Pasta -- recommended by our server, Gary, and I was very pleased with it The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with booths along both sides that made it easy to hear each other and enjoy the conversation. New place in the neighborhood owned by the same guys who brought you Maharaja across the street. Thought we'd swing by for lunch and try it out. Not so great. The place was DEAD on a Wednesday lunch. We were all alone. Not another soul walked through the doors during prime time. Might be a good idea to develop a lunch menu, guys! I am not so into weird made-up fusion dishes (which makes up the bulk of the menu so that's on me); I opted for the chicken tikka masala, hoping this would be a good bet. It wasn't. "4 star" spicy was... not. Chicken breast was stringy. My wife had the Szechuan noodles with chicken. Pretty salty and oily. Not terrible but not great. Each dish set us back about $20 and then tax and tip. Pricey lunch, probably won't be back. Normally that would be the end of my review, but there's one more piece to add. 30 minutes later, while putting the groceries away, it came: "oh no," I said to myself, "I'm about to shit my pants". This outcome isn't entirely unexpected when eating Indian food, but still disappointing. Fortunately I was only one floor away from the bathroom, so the story at least has a happy ending. Reading all the positive reviews makes me feel like im being punked. This was truly some of the worst food I've ever had. Absolutely nothing we ordered was good, not the drinks, the appetizer, or the entrees. The service was also slow and aloof but I can get past that. What I cannot get past is "Indian BBQ" wings that literally taste like what you get from Buffalo Wild Wings (derogatory), and lasagna and enchiladas that are so bad we could only choke down half despite being extremely hungry. I've genuinely had TV dinners that tasted better than this. I like fusion food, I even like plenty of mid food that people who consider themselves foodies turn their noses up at. I am generally not that hard to please and have no trouble appreciating food for what it is. This was beyond salvagable. Wandered in alone on what happened to be their opening day for in-person dining (Aug 8). Ordered the Kale Chaat salad and fried rice Szechuan style, both were great and I thought the menu prices were very reasonable. Kale Chaat had amazing flavor with the different chutneys, veggies, and yogurt - didn't expect the kale to be flash fried, but it wasn't greasy at all. Fried rice was a huge portion, enough for a couple more meals as leftovers. Made with basmati rice, which was a first for me - living up to the fusion in Indofusion. The menu is organized into different Indian fusion specialties: Chinese, Italian, and Mexican as well as starters and salads. Service was also very friendly and attentive. My bff and I visited this lovely restaurant the first time last night. Sorry I forgot to take photos but every dish we had was so amazing!! The honey garlic shrimps were a mix of honey and savory, garlic green beans were one of the best. She ordered lamb curry and I had tikka masala. What's impressive is each curry accompanied by the right kind of rice. We finished with their signature fried ice cream! So so good. All the servers were so sweet and attentive. The first time I ordered off the Indian Specialty menu, Butter Chicken, but with paneer instead of chicken (served either way- most items on the menu are also offered vegetarian). Delicious. I'm always a bit suspicious of fusion restaurants, which often feature a mix of cuisines and none of them done well. But I loved this place. It's primarily Indian in nature with some twists from other Asian cuisines, and everything we ordered was delicious: the Mongolian cauliflower, black pepper shrimp, hot and sour soup, chicken tikka masala, and lamb massaman curry all featured a lovely mix of spices in balance. We ordered spice level 4 and it wasn't that hot, so if you like more heat pick a 5 when they ask. Prices are pretty reasonable... and btw, thank you for serving a pint of good cider for a mere $8.50 instead of these ridiculously expensive small pours in wine glasses that fancy cider places turn out as if they were fine wines. Indofusion opened five months ago in our neighborhood and we had our first chance to dine there last night. We were surprised to be the sole patrons at 730 on a Monday, but extremely pleased with the food and drinks. We shared the chili lamb appetizer, which came with a deeply flavored sauce covering a generous starter portion of lamb and vegetables. For our mains, we tried the Indo-Chinese noodles Szechuan style with chicken, which was served with a variety of condiments for adjusting the flavor; and the cilantro pesto pasta with shrimp, which came with several quarters of naan bread - very welcome for cleaning up both the pasta sauce and the sauce from the lamb. We also found that the lamb sauce enhanced the noodles' flavor as well. The green chile margarita suffered somewhat from a sub-par sour mix, but the other two drinks we had - the tamarind mule and the Indofusion house cocktail with mango vodka, pineapple juice, and ginger beer - were excellent on their own and with the food. We were relieved to see more diners showing up as we finished our meal, because we're hoping this restaurant will be able to stick around for many more visits to come. read more

OMFG. Mind blown. Seattle seriously lacks good Indo-Chinese food not even one solid spot so when I found IndoFusion Kitchen + Bar, I had to try it. I ordered the Chicken Hakka Noodles, and I'm literally writing this review mid-meal because it's that good. The flavors are absolutely on point, and the chicken-to-veggie-to-noodle ratio is perfect. It doesn't remind me of roadside Indo-Chinese street food from childhood but it does remind me of the kind of Indo-Chinese you get at really good Indian restaurants back in India that actually know how to do it right. I'm not a vegetarian but opted for vegetarian dishes - paneer teriyaki, paneer lasagna, Indo noodles Szechuan style and garlicky green beans- and each dish had its own unique flavor. Loved, loved, loved that the teriyaki wasn't the usual icky sweet brown sauce that so many places have. It had a ginger flavor and is now my new favorite! Others negative reviews - not sure if I lucked out with a good chef/kitchen staff the day I ordered or if they were previously in a transition phase with their kitchen prep/chef issues or staff but everything I ordered was on point.
