Will absolutely never order another suit from Indochino. The first appointment went pretty smooth but the experience went downhill quickly after that. To start, we made an appt for my fiance, my father, and my groomsmen. My dad picked out his suit, got measured, and they ordered it. The suit fabric for my fiance and the groomsmen that we chose was out of stock temporarily. It was supposed to be back in stock the following week. We were willing to wait. I emailed when it was supposed to be back in stock. A few days later we were told that the fabric was out of stock permanently so we needed to order a new suit. We came back into the store and had to order a different suit. The order time has changed from 3-4 weeks to 4-6. (I understand, covid).
My fathers suit arrived about a month later. The vest was measured incorrectly so it did not fit. I called Indochino seaport and was told that the seamstress would be out for the rest of the month. (Not sure how that is even possible). We call dedham and get an appointment there. He brought the suit in on May 10th. They had to order a new vest. We knew it would take 4-6 weeks. I checked the site, a few weeks later. The status was "on hold". It's impossible to even speak to someone so I submitted an inquiry online. Didn't hear back - not surprising. I started a chat online, the support person advised me to call the store. I called the store, and they told me that the vest was on hold because the fabric is out of stock. At no point did anyone contact us to let us know that the fabric is out of stock. My wedding is the end of this month and anything that they can order would not come in time. They cant expedite orders even if its their mistake which I think is absolutely ridiculous. Had I been notified immediately, we would have been able to order something else. So I guess I'm SOL.
Next. My brother in laws suit was also measured incorrectly. He also needed a new vest ordered. His is en route, as far as i know.
We opted out of belt loops for my fiance's pants, of course they have belt loops. The sleeves on his suit jacket are too long and because we opted for the suit jacket with buttons on the sleeves, they can only take about half an inch off the sleeve.
We ordered 9 suits from this company - roughly 5000.00 and the service has been subpar, measurements from professionals are inaccurate, suits are messed up, poor attention to detail, communication is poor and of course not a single accommodation for all of the issues. Certainly not worth the money spent. The stores barely have access for fittings or final looks. My nephew lives out of state and I took his measurements myself and his suit came out the best. (I am not a seamstress). It's frustrating that you are unable to get in contact with a live person to rectify any issues. Now weeks before my wedding, I am scrambling trying to find my dad a vest that will match his suit and hoping that everyone else's suit is fine. read more
