We had delicious tandoori chicken and lamb vindaloo. The waiter was cold and rude. He handed the check and stood by our table to say .. pay and go now. Rude read more

I've had probably 8 different entrées. Every last one has been amazing. Hard to find authenticity in ethnic foods in North Idaho- this is a rare gem! read more

As far as we're concerned, you can order anything form here, and it'll be good. It's our Post Falls go-to. Our only complaint is that their garlic naan is sometimes a bit burnt. The chicken poprika is their best dish in our opinion! We'd say it's the best Indian food around. read more

Prepare yourself when you come to India house. Beyond enjoying the food, which I consider to be a guarantee, you're opening up your taste buds to a whole new experience. I find it impossible to leave this place without a smile. I had the pleasure of enjoying the paneer pakora tonight. The sexy cousin of the mozzarella stick, this deep fried Indian melting cheese has all the right seasonings with all the acute angles (it's in the shape of a triangle, don't hate me). The heat from the spices, singe the taste buds while the cheese melts your soul. Theres a lot of debate when it comes to the portions but get yourself a starter , some amazing nan bread, and set yourself right with the mango curry. Chicken that falls apart, sauce that seemingly has the perfect chemistry, balancing cream and spice boldly yet perfectly. I found that mango curry, with one of the many amazing flavors of nan, truly does hug the you within. On top of everything, the restaurant itself is very clean and vibrant. From the charming service to the entire India house experience, this is a place that will remain in your memory. Get a little bit of everything and you won't be disappointed.... but possibly hooked read more

India House - Mango Curry side of Rice. Garlic Cheese Naan & Butter Naan. Saag( chicken with a thickeeee spinach, ginger, garlic sauce) - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Post Falls, Idaho

Very great service and the food excellent tasting very great value for the money. Will go back again.

Very friendly staff. Appears family owned and run. Best Indian food we've had anywhere in Idaho. Garlic naan was on point. Samosa app was great. I had chicken Vindaloo at a spice level of 4 of 5, it was very tasty. The star of the show was the lamb Saag at a spice level 3 of 5. I could not stop eating that dish. I've had Saag's before but this one was killer. We'll be back to try the tikka masala, butter chicken and whatever else the chef recommends. read more

Extremely rude owner. Drove a very long distance for a take out order. Got home and no garlic naan which I had paid for. Asked for it to be refunded (just the naan) back to my credit card. No dice. Only a "coupon" which doesn't exist- only the rude owners memory. I will never go back. read more

We adore this place! There is so much depth of flavor in the spice blends - it's like most Indian food I've had is only two dimensions, and this gives the food a third dimension with layers of flavor. Our only complaint is that many times we go there it happens to be closed! And I can't check online ahead of time if it's going to be open. read more

Good food, probably better for takeout than sit down. Weak cocktails. Service was okay. Ambiance was weird tbh. All things considered it was good read more

We have found the food to be authentic and delicious. Also service has been very good, so we were greatly disappointed when we went in today to find our server without a mask. We did not stay. Please care enough for your customers to protect them read more

Ok first of all shitty as costumer service and food even worse! Save your money and time and go elsewhere for Indian food

Really good service and really good food! The staff was really attentive and we really enjoyed our chili naan, chicken tikka masala, and nirvana. It was so nice to be out at a restaurant, and the tables were all socially distanced as well! We will be back, yum! read more

Great food with super friendly staff. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but who's prices haven't increased with the times? Regardless, highly recommend and will absolutely be back! read more

The food was fantastic!! The garlic naan is top notch, and the curried are so flavorful. I highly recommend for authentic Indian food.

I'm so glad I found my favorite go to for vegetarian food. The family that owns this place is so welcoming and kind, you feel like your welcomed home when you sit down. The food is amazing and we always get a table right away. read more

Outstanding Indian food! Being new to the area we are so happy that we've found an Indian restaurant that we will return to again and again. It is family run and the service is friendly and fantastic. We shared an appetizer of spring rolls that were so delicious. My husband's entree was lamb vindaloo which he thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered chicken tikka masala and it didn't disappoint! We normally order papadums as an appetizer and naan to accompany our meal. However their tandoori oven had broken. Incidents like this can happen. Their entire staff were so nice, we never even considered leaving. We totally recommend this restaurant. read more

Reviewing again because we are constantly blown away by the service here! We had waited an hour and a half previously at another restaurant before calling these guys. They said that they were available to seat 7 people and had multiple tables pushed together and ready to go when we got there! Our orders were taken quickly and food was delicious, per usual! They are so accommodating even when busy. It was only the manager one-handedly working out front for most of our visit; answering calls, giving to-go orders, and serving multiple tables; and did so seamlessly until help arrived. He is always pleasant and funny! We are always amazed with the great service and food, I can't say enough good things about this place!! read more

Phenomenal food. My wife has an extremely sensitive palate and isn't very adventurous but she LOVES the Dawaat Chicken. I on the other hand am up for anything and have dove into many of their dishes including several goat menu items and just tonight the Butter Chicken. The flavors are just layer upon layer of perfectly combined spices and textures. They've delivered consistently amazing food every single time be it entrees, appetizers, unique beverages or desserts. Best Indian food I've ever had, anywhere. read more

while this is the only place I've found who is accuate with the level of spice (I normally ask for 5/5), the staff behave like customers being there is a huge PIA. I really dont get it. Also, the garlic naan in the to-go order was dried out and hard - not as bad as having been microwaved, but more like it was leftover from 6 hours ago. read more

I have had some amazing and authentic Indian food where I came from. Since moving to Idaho, I have missed eating at my favorite Indian restaurant that was just down the street from my house. Now there is fresh and flavorful Indian food in N Idaho! The samosas had just the right balance of filling and breading. The tamarind, mango and mint chutneys were delicious. The garlic naan was fresh, hot and flavorful. The butter chicken melted off the fork. It's been a while since I've eaten Indian food, so I asked for 1 (out of 9) spice. Next time I'll go higher, but the flavor was perfect! The rice was perfectly cooked. Warm and inviting atmosphere, and prompt service. I will definitely be back; there are so many dishes I want to try! read more

India House - Forgot to take a picture before eating this delicious meal. Samosas with three chutneys, butter chicken, garlic naan and mango lassi. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Post Falls, Idaho

Ordered for pickup. Was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful the Indian food here is. The Mango Chicken, the Methi, the Samosas were delicious, as well as the Mango Lassi. The Strawberry Rim Dim was tasty and refreshing. I enjoyed the Papadam, Naan, and Onion Kulchi. All cooked to order, cooked fresh! The place was neat, clean, and orderly! Definitely going back again! Highly recommend! read more

Three girlfriends and I met at India House to celebrate a victory during primary elections. The aroma as you enter the door is delicious, the place settings are beautiful and the service is attentive and gracious. When we asked for recommendations, because everything sounded delicious and at nearly the same most reasonable price, we were given consistent suggestions. We had to wait for one member of our party and again, the staff was gracious about it. The owner came out to meet us and give us the healthy history of this restaurant. I had classic chicken curry and an excellent appetizer that the owner suggested for us while we waited. One of us had a shrimp and vegetable dish that was huge and gorgeous. We were all four pleased with this experience and plan to come visit the family at India House again. read more

I've been told to try this place from my new co workers and I was so glad I did! The food was delicious and the service was great. I highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed. read more

India House has authentic, delicious Indian food! Our take out order was prepared pretty quickly, and service on the phone was fantastic. But when I got to the restaurant to pick up our order, the man (owner?) seemed less than thrilled to cash out the order. Which I overlooked...it was at the end of the day and I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. But when I got home, both of our garlic naan were missing. So I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant to get what I paid for. If it weren't for the delicious food and reasonable prices, I would've docked more points for the service and the missing items. But overall, definitely a solid Indian eatery. read more

Freaking amazing food!!! Seriously you will love everything! Thank you so much for opening a great restaurant in Post Falls

Awesome food!!! I ordered Saag with lamb--wonderful flavor! We also ordered the Kashmiri naan--soooo good! The servers were quick to seat us, take our order, and anticipate our needs. Ambiance was good--quiet, comfortable. Would definitely recommend! read more

I am now obsessed with India House! My absolute favorite dishes are the butter chicken end the veg samosas, garlic and cheese naan and of course, their tamarand sauce. I wake up thinking about this restaurant and that CANNOT be a good thing, or maybe it is!? Best Indian place around! Great customer service also. Very nice people. read more

If I could give this place a 10 star review I would!! Coming in the door, the smell is heavenly. The food did not disappoint us. Between two main dishes, naan bread, and the copper bowls of rice that accompanies it, we had more than enough and took some home. We've tried the mango curry, lamb korma, butter chicken, and all of them have been excellent!! They will adjust the spiciness at your request. Be sure to be generous with yourself and order some mango chutney or raita To complement the meal. Each time we order a different kind of Naan bread and so far our favorite is the one stuffed with raisins and coconut. We've also tried the garlic cheese naan, which is tasty too. The Service was fast and staff was very friendly and cordial. I learned about this place when my son picked up a door Dash delivery, and he noticed the beautifully set tables, the comfortable chairs with plenty of dining space, and the warm India decor. He insisted we try it! If you love Indian food or want to try something new, be sure and check these guys out. Family owned and obviously a very dedicated bunch. read more

India House - Butter chicken and mango curry - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Post Falls, Idaho

Best Indian food I've ever eaten!! Love eating at the restaurant for the ambiance and music! Service is great too!

Fast friendly service, nice atmosphere, excellent food, lots of choices on the menu maybe too many

Arrived 30 minutes before close. Gentleman that greeted us rolled his eyes and said something under his breath as the server sat us. We ordered, got our food, we ate for 10 minutes. They then asked if we wanted anything else because kitchen was closed. Waiter then asked if we wanted to go boxes and said they were closed and handed us our check. Terrible terrible way to do business. We literally took all of our food to go. Will never go back! If I could not give a star to post this review I would! read more

Food was exceptional with generous portions! Staff was very friendly and I the restaurant itself was very clean! Definitely worth the drive from Spokane! We'll be back! read more

Mango tree look out!! Very yummy and creative menu. Not a great wine selection but super delicious food.

Great food, but the worst mistreatment I've ever experienced at a restaurant establishment in my life, bar none. My mom and I went for dinner, hoping to have a nice relaxing evening. We walked in, saw the sign that said "Please wait to be seated". The restaurant was empty except for two tables with guests. There was a man standing off to the side (he was our server and we later discovered he's the owner) never approached to greet us or seat us, he simply stared at us, and then said, "can I help you with something?", as though we were interrupting him or in the wrong place. His demeanor was unfriendly and unwelcoming. We pointed to the sign and said we were there for dinner. He waved his hand in the direction of the tables and said "over there. Third table on the left." Rude. We waited a few minutes and he finally showed up with menus. No matter what questions we asked about the menu choices, he shrugged and said, "it's up to you." We weren't asking what he recommended, we were asking about spice levels and other specifics. It was like pulling teeth with this person. His entire demeanor was rude, dismissive and resentful, as though he was barely suppressing his dislike of us and the customers in general. Anything that was asked of him was done begrudgingly, and he took forever to bring it. For example, when ordering, we asked for two sides of mango chutney. We received only one. I tried to get his attention, but he looked at me and walked away. I had to get up and walk over to ask for the second order we didn't receive. He told me we only ordered one. I told him no,we ordered two,one for each of us, which he then argued about. Finally,he said he'd bring the second order of chutney. (Basically a scoop of chutney in a small container.) My mother's meal was nearly completed and he still hadn't brought the chutney. I went back to the kitchen (where he was sitting and eating) and asked for the order, we were nearly finished. He was visibly irritated, got up and went inside the kitchen and I went back to the table. About 10 minutes later he FINALLY appeared with the chutney, after my mom's meal was now finished. There only three tables filled at this time,so the restaurant was not busy. He was simply dragging his feet, eating his meal, etc. Unacceptable. We had planned to stay for dessert, but the behavior from this owner was so rude and hostile that we wanted to pay and go. I said I was not leaving a tip for this reason (something I never do). Instead of attempting to resolve the situation if only for the reputation of his business, he handed over the payment pad, gave me the receipt, and walked away without saying a word. Not even a "thank you for coming in" as we left. Absolutely horrible experience, I don't care how good the food is, will never go there again, and I'll let anyone I know exactly how we were treated. read more

This place was ok-the curry was delicious but there wasn't a whole lot of meat in my butter chicken. They will give you a generous portion of rice and sauce though. I was dissatisfied with two things in particular: the Raita was soupy and was packed in my togo bag *right* next to my hot container of curry. As a result, the raita was super watery and really disappointing. In addition, we got an order of garlic cheese naan and was really surprised to see that we got one portion or two halves. Two half pieces for $5.99?? Really? Overall the flavors were great but we were really disappointed with the price to portion ratio. Go to Mango Tree in CDA for your money's worth. At least they'll give you more than enough naan. read more

India House - Two 1/2 pieces of garlic cheese naan for $6. A rip off in my opinion! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Post Falls, Idaho

I wish I can give this zero stars the owner was so disrespectful we can't even explain he told us he closed at 8:30 when the closing time posted is 9:30 his explanation was that he had another booking mind you we drove very long ways to eat Indian food and we exppresed taht as well the tea was cold because he said they make it in the evening and keep it in a thermos and refused to remake it ..... disgusting experience read more

My family has gone here quite often and we love it. Everything about it. The crew is amazing. The cooks in the back are siblings and you can tell enjoy their job. The waiter is awesome! We went in yesterday with my nephew and he got my nephew to have fun with him. He was laughing, even got him to clap for the first time. They are so kind and i love the portion verses price. You get plenty of food for a good price and it tastes delicious. I always go home with leftovers. They also have a beer called the maharaja that is super good! I highly recommend this place to anyone. They also do carryout and delivery. read more

I have been coming to the restaurant for a while with friends and family but since beginning of November came for lunch was seated by the same person who was smoking outside the front door of the restaurant brought us karafe of water with 2 glasses without washing his hands, smelled like smokes. We asked questions about the some menu items, he got very abrasive & argumentative . We never had any problems before this server. We decided to leave the restaurant, we felt very uncomfortable and tell all my friends about his behavior of lack of knowledge of menu and how he should treats his guests that pay his salary No we will not suggest the restaurant read more

My wife and I have had dinner at India House 4 times and we have ordered out 2-3 times. It is always exceptional. We were lucky enough to talk to talk to one of the chefs this last time and he was funny, humble and genuinely interested in our opinions of not only the food , but the experience eating there as well. I have recommended India House to my family and friends, as well as out of town visiting clients. Not one person has been disappointed. Thank you for the wonderful food, the atmosphere and the experience. We will see you on another date night read more
