Really enjoyed the food here. Our waiter was in training I think, needed some personality (hate to be mean but he was not friendly, I think he was uncomfortable in that job) but his trainer came over and helped. We had good service as far as food and drink delivery and enjoyed the food tremendously. Will return in our next visit to the area. read more

Food, service and ambiance are just awesome. My partner ordered off the menu and I had buffet which was a good choice for me as I'm new to experiencing Indian food. It's a place on our list of restaurants to go to read more

Went for lunch with a friend. We ordered and shared the Dingri Mutter Paneer (3*heat) & Vegetable Nirvana (2* heat), as well as the garlic naan. Both were delicious. They have an extensive menu with many vegetarian options. The staff were friendly and service was prompt. I'll definitely be returning. read more

India House - Dingri Mutter Paneer & Vegetable Nirvana - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Post Falls, Idaho

Everything was delicious and the service was wonderful! Our new favorite Indian restaurant in the are.

Great customer service. Food is nice but a little over priced for the portion sizes. Very little meat in the curries. I will need to eat again sadly. read more

Kept hearing rave reviews so we ordered a few dishes for pick up- paneer tikka masala, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, vegetable korma, tandoori chicken, and garlic naan. The medium was too spicy for us so we know to get mild next time. The garlic naan could've been more garlicky. Overall really enjoyed the flavors of the main dishes! read more

I am so happy with this place that I could cry. Everything I've had here has been extremely delicious. Everything is so authentic down to the decor in the restaurant. Will definitely be back here and tell all my friends! read more

Try this place. The food is great. Try chicken Nirvana or the mixed grill. They rock

The Mango Curry and Cheesy Naan Bread can't be beat from here. The regular curry is also a great choice. Easy 5 stars.

Most amazing Indian food in the CDA area hands down! Seated in a timely manner, water, food delivered hot and it was a wonderful variation of dishes. And only one waiter handled a house of happy guests. We were at the Mango Tree an hr earlier and they had the worst service. Mango Tree had four people walking around, I think they worked there? What a joke the service was at the Mango Tree. Indian House is family oriented and friendly atmosphere!!! read more

Just ate here and wow was it worth the drive from spokane. Best Indian food around. The paneer pakora was very tasty. We also got the butter chicken (back left) and the hot vindaloo chicken. Chili naan and garlic naan were both fresh and delicious. Highly recommend you eat here.! read more

Great Authentic food and not 'simplified' to local tastes like some items of another local indian restaurant. Always very impressed with the food.. had a few occasions where i wish portion size was larger.. but never ever disappointed with the fold. read more

Food is bomb as fuck I had the mango curry over rice and it was absolutely delicious and you dip the cheesy garlic naan in it and you can't help but hit a lil jig Customer service is quite antsy tho and feels very rushed if they just worked on that this would be five stars read more

Given there is an Indian food place in Post Falls ID in itself calls for at least 4 stars .. hehe And given I know my Indian food in and out .. I think their food also deserves 4 stars .. the curries are nice and ingredients are fresh. The breads are great nd so is the service. I always ask for 3 stars when it comes to the potency of curries .. but the 3 here is not a 3 what I know of (it is more like 2) .. but that is alright .. it is better for a 3 to be a 2 than vice versa :D All in all .. a great addition .. and a welcome change .. I hope they keep a track of what their customers are saying and keep on improvising. I will keep coming back whenever I can. read more

Good food here. Had plenty of vegan options and told us which menu items were vegan. The onion fritters were outstanding. . read more

Really great Indian food. I have tried all the Indian Restaurants in the area and am so glad that friends recommended this place. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala, shrimp korma, Butter Chicken, Lamb Tikka Kebab, Garlic and butter Naans for our Entrees and Pakoras for appetizers. Everything was delicious. One of our party stated that they didn't like lamb( which is my favorite protein) and after trying it was a convert. My only negative, would be that although the sauces were wonderful the actual amounts of protein in each dish is small. I understand that lamb and shrimp can be more expensive; but chicken is not and those dishes could have definitely had more in them. Will definitely be back. read more

Wow! This is some tasty, authentic Indian food in Post Falls. Friendly service and a extensive menu will have you coming back. India House is as good or better than any Indian Restaurant I've been to in other parts of the world. Each time we have been in, I try something different. Each time I find my new favorite dish. Service has been fantastic each time we have been in. They truly make you feel like you are guest. read more

We got take out tonight and did a hike in Post Falls. Worth the drive from Spokane! I would say that this place is one of the better indian restaurants in the region. We ordered Malai kofta and veggie korma. Both were tasty, creamy, and plenty flavorful. They probably have my favorite malai koftas in the area. We hope to return some day when they have buffett again and things are safer. Really great find!!! read more

India House - Malai kofta and veggie korma! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Post Falls, Idaho

OMG! This place is soooo good. We started with Vegetable Samosas served with two sauces. I then had Daawat Chicken and hubby had Chicken curry with plain Naan. I was in heaven. Both sauces were so toothsome and flavorful. The heat was just right. The food was so good, in fact, that we ordered two dinners and naan to go for dinner the next night. The servers were kind of quiet but I didn't take that to mean they were stuck up. I loved the decor; the embroidered parasols were beautiful. All together, we had a great experience! read more

Ohhhhh myyyyy heavens. That is the best indian food I have ever had and I love indian food. I can't even describe what just took place in my mouth. The Nirvana is perfectly named because it was heaven. My adorable husband got the Ginger lamb. It had a red curry and it was pretty good but of course I enjoyed what I ordered more. We also had garlic cheese naan and our amazing server brought us some pretty tasty dipping sauces.....the naan was perfect and didn't need it but the spices were absolutely amazing. The naan had perfect char just in the edge. The interior is a little bright but I loved the decor. The customer service was phenomenal by everyone I watched even the bussers. Thank you India House. I have been waiting for you for 5 years since I moved here from Oregon. read more

India House - Lamb saag, mixed grill, and mango curry. We had spring rolls to start! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Post Falls, Idaho

Wow! The experience was phenomenal. I have to say that my first impression was an immaculately clean restaurant that seemed modern and welcoming. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful. But the food...! Wow it was delicious. Being from the area, we grew up on N Idaho restaurants. The military took me all over the world, as well as the country. I got really spoiled with the restaurants I visited, and came back to Idaho after the military with expectations that are rarely met. I love my hometown, but I am so proud that we have a restaurant with food this good here now. I have one critique, and I'm not even going to go down to 4 stars because of it because I'm hoping and praying they're still finding their stride. We ordered the butter chicken and the mixed grill. The flavors were out of this world delicious, but I was left a bit disappointed with the amount of meat in each dish. The butter chicken was only a few bites worth of meat, and the mixed grill was only a little more. I'm going to be eating there often, so I hope this gets tweaked a little bit going forward. I can't wait to try some more items from the menu! read more

First time at this restaurant. My hubby, baby and I stopped here on the way back to Spokane. Good staff and fast service. Plenty of room between tables. There's also two rows of booths. We wanted to bring baby in with stroller and were able to. Authentic Indian food based on North Indian cuisine (Punjabi food). You'll love it. Spice level 2 is perfect. We got the Vegetable Korma - creamy curry with vegetables and slight sweetness, Panner Bhuna - creamy tomato based curry with Indian cottage cheese cubes, Goat Biryani - well cooked goat meat with spiced rice, and Garlic naan. Everything tasted great! If you plan a weekend trip towards Spoake or Coeur D'Alene you should stop at India House - Authentic Cuisine. read more

Good new spot for dining in Post Falls. They specialize in Punjab region cuisine and have a huge menu. Cheese stuffed naan with garlic was new to me and delicious. Mixed grill was good with a variety of flavors. Lamb "sheesh kabob" seemed a little tough while the tandoori chicken was flavorful. Shrimp on mixed grill was only 2 small pieces and a bit overcooked. Chicken tikka saag was good, but chicken was not as tender as expected. Great service and attention on the grand opening- 1st day of service. read more

I've been to The India House 5-6 times over the last year, and I'm done going back. The food is amazing! I'm going to miss it actually. The prices were great too. But the server (I think his name might be Ali, younger, longer hair) is just flat rude. I've asked for help in figuring out menu items when I go in, and he acts put-out every time. A few months ago he had one song on repeat. When I asked if he could add in some more songs like the one we were listening to he stood there, and stared at me. Then said he was a musician, and that he'd played with that band. Weirdly defensive reaction. I took a friend here last week. Her first time trying Indian food, and after we ordered her jaw was on the ground. She asked me if he was always like that. I laughed, and told her yes. A short while later my friend asked if the music sounded louder... we'd been catching up on each other's lives, and I think there were two points that we were laughing... I guess that's not tolerated there ‍ There's a young girl waitressing there now too, and that same guy was rude to her too. I hope she finds her voice, and gets a job where she's valued. The other staff seems nice, but Ali is the one who works the most when I go in there so I'm going to need to find another Indian restaurant :( read more

I LOVE their butter chicken. When I find a perfectly prepared dish at a restaurant, it becomes my go-to. It's the butter chicken and naan bread here. And I appreciate when I say I want a 10 spicy, they don't disappoint!! read more

Initially we were so excited to find Indian food with good reviews in the area. We ordered takeout. 1) we only received part of our order. We were missing half our Naan bread and another item. 2) the rice had a terrible pond water smell/taste to it. None of us could eat it. The smell was overwhelmingly strong and it tasted the same. We've eaten Indian food all over the country and this was just average for us. read more

Excellent service, extremely clean, unbelievable food. India House was short staffed and yet still the food came out very quickly. There was no lack of quality however, as the food was incredible and authentic. The decor is simple yet beautiful. They sat us in a separate room, as we had 12 in our party. We were taken care of promptly and courteously. The owner or manager was attentive to us and though he had a full restaurant, he never left us wanting for anything. This place is A+ and I can't say enough about how happy we are with every part of our experience! read more

It's only 4 stars because they couldn't do tandoori, otherwise it was delicious. We ordered Dawaat Chicken, Malai Kofta, samosa, garlic naan and olive naan. Everything was absolutely fabulous but the chicken was my favorite. Will stop in again for some tandoori next time I am in town! read more

The food is very good. We have ordered takeout and dined in the restraint and we're happy with the food on both occasions. The atmosphere of the resteraunt is unfortunately very bland. The service was ok but not great. read more

I was not a big fan of Indian cuisine until we ate at the India House. Now, we go about once a week or more. They are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is so flavorful and delicious. The minute we think of it, the decision is made and we're headed out the door. Their prices are good too. In short, great food, good prices, good service. Family owned business. read more

Chicken tikka masala and korma was amazing!! When I placed my order on the phone the gentleman was very kind and gave us suggestions. Only thing is they gave us more than what we ordered so it came out expensive so next time I'll double check before placing my order! read more

Best Indian food in the area! Highly recommend the butter chicken and the mixed grill. Super flavorful and fantastic customer service.

Very good food, quick takeout, but way too expensive... I would come here again if it wasn't for the price. I only ordered a few items and I had to double take my bill because I thought I was over charged (they did add naan but I wasn't aware of the extra charge because they didn't say anything) Not very big portions at all. The food was delicious, just beware that 3 stars was SPICY. I did think the guy at the front was nice at first. I couldn't understand him that well which I'm sure would make anyone upset. But reading the reviews about his attitude I feel validated in my opinion. I would recommend this place if you don't mind the high prices but I think I might find some place cheaper. Everything else was really really good! read more

Tastes so good, authentic Indian food. Good service and lots to choose from. Reasonable prices

I ordered my food to go, the restaurant itself is not super big, but the food is very good! I would say this is the most authentic Indian food you will find in the area! I ordered the chicken Tikka Masala. It came with basmati rice on the side. I only ordered medium and felt it could be a little spicier, but I wasn't sure what to expect my first time ordering. I will definitely be ordering here more often!! read more

Wow. This restaurant blew our minds! It reminded my husband and I of our favorite places in Oregon and Vegas... if not better! I had THE BEST lamb Saag I've ever tasted.
