Don't ruin the joke. 45 Degrees is one of those hidden little Spokane Valley watering holes that you almost don't want to tell people about because then everybody will show up and take your favorite spot at the trough. But I'm telling you anyway. THE BEER: Fabulous. They craft their own beer, and you can tell somebody actually gives a damn about what's going into the glass. There's attention to detail here. This isn't "pour something fizzy in a pint glass and slap a clever name on it" beer. Mad Cow takes his grazing seriously. He takes his beer even more seriously. THE OWNER: Incredible host. Every time I've been in, I've felt welcomed. He's friendly, involved, and clearly cares about the people walking through his door. That's becoming increasingly rare, and it's a big part of what makes this place work. THE FOOD: Yep, there's grub.
