Pros: Naan is good. Cons: Didn't like Biriyanis - hardly any meat pieces, Butter chicken is not buttery and cream. read more

Was here for dinner this evening and really enjoyed it. The service was perfect & the food was excellent. I don't dine out often as I generally don't like restaurant food, this was a real treat! read more

My family was just staying the night on our journey back to Montana and we haven't had good Indian food in years! After reading the reviews, we decided to give this a try. SO WORTH IT! We ordered delivery and it arrived to our hotel room door so fast and HOT! Everything was so delicious and top notch service. Highly recommend! read more

It is fantastic to have a new dining option in Post Falls. We tried it today and had a great experience. The curry, Vindalloo and Tiki Masala were excellent as was the specially baked garlic cheese bread. The staff and manager were very attentive and the facility was well maintained and clean. There were lots of vegetarian options as well. We didn't try the dessert this time but we'll be back. read more

We have had the same experience multiple times and the servers are rude. after ordering over a hundred dollars in food to take some home they would only give us the cheap take home container and would not give us the to go containers. The sauce and food did not make it even away from our tables before spilling all over the bag. We also ordered two of the same dish and they came out completing different and we were trying to get some ones attention and they didn't know anything about it or would not even acknowledge it and the cooks plaid dumb. We have been here multiple times and more than half of them were terrible service. Good Food bad service I will be looking for another Indian restaurant. I have seen lots of people posts this same complaint. read more

I absolutely love coming here! The food is always yummy and I always get great service!

Had food delivered (because I'm lazy) and order came early, everything packaged nice and tight, and food was amazing! Everything was flavorful with ample portions. I feel India House will become a staple of North Idaho pretty soon. read more

I've loved coming here until they hired a new server. I'm assuming it's a family member of the owner. He was rude, disrespectful, and inconsiderate. That description is honestly an understatement. His customer service is awful, tone of voice, and attitude was nasty. His consideration of customer satisfaction is non-existent. I will not be coming back and I hope others don't either. read more

So happy to finally try this new Indian restaurant. You know just from walking in how great the food will be by the amazing aromas. We ordered the palak paneer, vegetable korma, butter chicken and garlic naan. Everything was great. Actually beyond great! Huge portions, great price for the amount of food and left overs for 3 more meals (only two of us eating.). Their food is fresh, sauces were seasoned as requested (no to mild level spice/heat.). We got food to go and it was ready when they said it would be and hot by the time we got home. Staff was friendly and helpful when placing the order. Highly recommend!! read more

Where do I begin?!!!! This is the best tasting Indian food I have had in over a decade! And I eat Indian food monthly! The flavors are out of this world and the paneer literally MELTS in your mouth. I have just moved to the area and I am so thankful I found this amazing restaurant!!! read more

First visit. Very pleased with the food and service. I had Butter Chicken - mild spice .... yummy ( a tad bit spicy but not too much) - hubby had Korma and he loved it too! I'd recommend giving them a try!! Atmosphere was "well-lit" read more

We are really impressed the owners took the feedback they were getting and made some adjustments with management. Our food was delicious, service was friendly, and the place was clean (new menus were nice). I recommend India House to family and friends. read more

First time trying it out since I moved here. Very good taste and quality. The staff is super friendly. I tryed the mixed grill so I can taste several of their items and it was awesome. Vegetable biryani was great too. I'll be a regular for sure. read more

It's so great to have Indian food in this small town! It's one of my favorite cuisines and I hey are VERY AUTHENTIC!! I was extremely impressed and will back again and again! read more

Wow! Mango Tree CDA watch out! This place is going to give you a very stiff competition. The food was excellent. Service was good too. When you walk in the smells of fine Indian food was intoxicating. We tried the Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, Tandoori chicken and a very colorful and flavorful rice that was exquisite. No frills inside seating that accommodates for stinking COVID. The place was hoping with many waiting for tables to open up and the hustle of doordash drivers in and out traffic. The garlic Naan bread was delicious. The spicy levels were perfect for my wife but of course I could use them higher. Now they have been opened 3 weeks and what a gem to find and eat out. I thanked the chef who came out to get water as I was paying. Her bright eyes and smile says it all. read more

I'd give 10 stars if I could! Oh my goodness! The food here is exceptional! The service is also extraordinary. What I can only assume is the chef/owner came directly to our table after the first few bites to see what we thought or if we needed anything. The portions are just right, and the flavors/spice level were perfect. Do your tastebuds a big favor and eat here. I've traveled to 16 countries and lived 9 years in NYC. The food here rivals the best Indian restaurants anywhere. read more

20% Service Charge for changing tables when the store is dead. Very rude owner, I wouldn't suggest this business to anyone. No need to be disrespectful to such a degree. Also, just water glasses on the table. I love Indian food and the culture but this business shouldn't be tolerated. read more

Our favorite Indian restaurant in the Panhandle area. We especially enjoy their curries which are full of flavor and spices. We also like to complement our meal with some naan and mango lassis which are also delicious. The prices are reasonable for the decent portion sizes and authenticity of the food (Indian food in general tends to be on the pricier side). My husband and I always leave here very satisfied. read more

Ordered takeout from them the other night and did NOT regret it! Got some butter chicken, ginger chicken, Vegetable Korma, and some rice. All of it was good and they had the spices down. Service was very friendly and, while I didn't get a super good look inside, it looked like it would be a cool place to sit down and eat. Definitely recommend this place, and I'll be there again. read more

Very rude staff. Unpleasant experience from the get go. It takes 1 rude remark to lose a customer. Middle aged man working was terribly rude for no apparent reason. read more

I had forgot this place was opening in Post Falls. Today we drove past this resturaunt so I looked up the Yelp reviews and all the reviews ranted and raved about India House. So we decided to check it out. Well, those reviews were "Spot On". The staff was extremely friendly, we were served quickly and the food was awesome. I would highly recommend India House. read more

It's the best India food in North208! The mango curry, korma and biryani are my favorites.

I hear the food here is great. I have never eaten there. I have never heard anything negative about the place.

Unbelievable. That's all I'd say if Yelp would accept that. Service and food is delicious. I don't understand why more people don't eat Indian food. Get out of long outside fast food drive through lines and eat healthy amazingly flavored food. Please eat here to support this great local restaurant. BTW, I'm from Dallas so not owner posting. read more

This place has amazing food. I love everything I have ever gotten. Our favorites are the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala with garlic naan! read more

This dinner was ok. Ordered two appetizers, which were the best part of the meal. The dipping sauces were flavorful as were the cheese and veggie pakoras. Our party of four ordered three entrees which came with three dishes of spice scented rice. All was prepared and delivered in a timely manner, staff was polite and attentive. But the dinner...was meh. We ordered Butter chicken, a goat curry dish and palak paneer. The servings were small. The goat dish had four pieces of meat that were attached to large chunks of bone. Each dish comprised of more sauce than anything else. I've been to many Indian restaurant around the country. I've seen this type of serving style before, but the prices were usually reflective of the same. Let me be clear. When we go to dine at a fine restaurant, we expect this. Not here. Our dinner for four with three Indian beers, two small appetizers and three main entrees was over $100. None of us are big eaters, but we left disappointed. The dinner wasn't terrible, and I'm glad restaurants such as this are still open through this pandemic, but places like this will have a significant struggle to keep their doors open if they continue to serve small, overpriced dishes. read more

So delighted to find an Indian restaurant in the area. India House was excellent food & great service. Will definitely be back!

Have been waiting to eat here since I saw the "Coming Soon" sign a few months back. After reading the stellar reviews since they did one I fnally got to experience India House for myself last night. The reviews did not lie. It was truly amazing. I had the chicken Tikka massala and palaak paneer. Delicious. Spread the word people! This is the real deal. read more

What a relief! A really good Indian food restaurant close by. Like this place better than any other Indian food within many miles! Being from a large metropolitan area where Indian food is common, we are grateful to have a restaurant that matches our food experiences there. Very much worth checking out! read more

My favorite coffee stop at on my way to work and weekends. They're cinnamon rolls and bagels are amazing- they have that homemade taste

Wow! Finally a good Indian restaurant comes to town. Love the curry dishes!naan and pakora!Anxious to try the other dishes as well!

Lovely, intimate setting. The nicest staff and amazing food. Will come here one and time again.

Take a break from burgers and explore this gem. Excellent food and service! If you're not sure what dish to try, then go with Butter Chicken, Naan, and an appetizer. Share several dishes. If you like heat, then you can have them add a bit more spice. There's something for everyone. And you can even get a cold beer with your food. What's not to love? read more

Not really a fan of Indian food but went to India House with friends. It was excellent, great service and food. We will be back.

I wish I could've reviewed this place properly. It could be great and a lovely aroma. But what a tease I showed up a hal hour before their Google and yelp listing said they closed and they said their kitchen closed at 8 PM or an hour earlier. Very unfortunate. For a hungry traveler who had had a very long day that was super disappointing. read more

As a Persian gal visiting from Houston, TX it's so nice to see authentic Indian food up here. My boyfriend took me to get some after I got out of the airport yesterday and to be honest, I didn't expect much, given that I've had trouble finding great Indian or Middle Eastern food in the greater CDA/Spokane area. Like come on people, where's the seasoning?! But boy was I impressed. It's up there with anything you can get in a huge, diverse urban setting like HTX. I had the Masala Chai (spiced tea with condensed milk) and channa masala (chickpea curry with a bit of a kick) with rice and naan and it was so good--it was prepared fresh and was rich with flavor. You HAVE to try it. Eating here really curbs the homesickness. I've been thinking about this food all day today and will likely go tomorrow to get more. Especially the masala chai... if you're interested in having the real thing rather than the "chai tea" they sell at Starbucks or whatever, this is the real deal. It came out piping hot and I was struggling between wanting to drink it and trying not to burn my GI tract. This place is a gem, don't skip it! read more

I have never been into the restaurant to be honest. I have had food delivered many times and it has been fantastic every time! They have the best biryani rice, and the spring rolls are awesome. One of my favs for sure. Owner has even called on delivery orders to ensure perfect experience. read more

When they opened it was great and was my go to for take out Indian food even though Mango tree was a block away. Now I will go back to the other option. The raita was soup and there was chunks in one. 2 of the 3 breads were burnt. The entree dishes were good, but seemed much different than before. We were given salsa of some sort. Our dessert we paid for was completely forgotten. The traditional Indian drink was fenugreek and lemons with Sprite(doesn't seem traditional) The hospitality was not there this go around there was a lady in the kitchen last time when it was great, and it makes me wonder if will ever get better again. read more

Saag Paneer, Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken, Garlic and Cheese naan. Outstanding. Great service. This place is hopping for a Wednesday night. Can't go wrong. read more

Mediocre portions of protein with an abundance of sauce amounting to about one cup total is what you get for $15 or more. Compared to other Indian restaurants in places like Renton or Seattle, this place comes in dead last for price vs. quality. I was really hoping for much better given there is only one other Indian restaurant in all of Kootenai and Bonner counties. I may return only if they ever get their buffet up and running. Until then, look elsewhere. read more
