I really want to like this place. It's close to my house and the staff is always friendly. Pros- the veggie pakoras were good, the portions were good and the butter chicken was ok (I've had better at previous visits but this wasn't bad) Cons- Firstly there was stuff floating in both of our water glasses, both of our plates were dirty. She did bring us new ones but yuck. The garlic naan had no garlic and was completely flat and burnt. When the server asked if everything was ok and I mentioned that I'd never seen naan like this before she seemed baffled, she seemed like she might have even been the owner...I would have thought that she would know what naan is supposed to look like...She did bring a new smaller order but it was the exact same ‍ We didn't eat any of it beyond a couple bites but were charged all the same. When ringing us up she said they got new flour and he was having trouble baking with it...? You can see in the pic what I'm talking about. The chicken wasn't as good a quality as in previous visits. Mine was fatty and my moms had a big bone in one chunk. Overall for nearly $60 and all of the other times it's been disappointing we're throwing in the towel. I guess we'll check out Mango Tree next time.

She stays busy in between patrons coming in to eat underwhelming food.....at least papaya salad. Food may be good, but papaya salad was not. I barely began eating before I registered feeling negative about the food I was served for almost $30. $5 sticky rice and $20 for papaya salad with very little papaya, lots of peanuts, carrots, lettuce, and cabbage. Most unauthentic papaya salad I've ever had. I may be wrong for assuming all other dishes are executed the same way.

I wish the chicken & lamb were a bit more tender as it's dry ... but the sauce & portions are so good we err on the serving size! Fast efficient service... We've made this our reg Indian restaurant instead of Tandoori Grill ( 1/2 the serving size ) & ITS CLOSER. Happy accident!

It came with rice and we ordered a garlic naan to share. I got 3 stars which is good heat for a curry but not enough for the masala. We love their naan and it the perfect accompaniment. We had a iced tea, but were expecting something different from a standard Lipton-type tea. When we went in, 5pm on a Hoopfest Sunday, we were the only customers. Another couple came in a little while later and there were several delivery services picking up. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The dining room was peaceful and allowed for normal-toned talking. Go here!

Now I can say I have been to every Indian restaurant (by name) in the area. We started with some drinks, Indian Margarita (didn't know it was a thing) and a Prickly Flower Martini. Both were great and something I haven't had anywhere else. I didn't even know there was such a thing as an Indian Margarita.... But it's definitely worth a try! My friend also got to try a Mango Lasse. It was her first time trying it, and it was yummy. Next course was Veggie Pakoras, they were great and (surprisingly) also came with a house salad. In the restaurant we went with grilled entrees. I ordered their fish and my friend the shrimp. These entrees came with basmati rice, and a really fresh tasting house salad. Not sure what dressing they used, but it was light and wonderful. As for the grilled entrees, the amount of protein was great, the seasoning that was sprinkled over the protein was (in our opinion) a little on the salty side. We loaded up on to-go food though. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala (two different spice levels) and after asking another friend what her favorite was, I ordered the Mango Curry (with chicken) to go as well. With the curry bowls we were also able to get an order of garlic naan for each bowl. That's a great savings!! We had a great visit, great food, and our server was fantastic! The restaurant was clean, and fairly empty. I did stop at Top of India on the way home for some extra hot Rogan Josh (it's not on the menu at the Mango Tree) and Raita. We have plenty of food for several days.
