Terrible Service Department!!!…read more I have a 2023 Rivian R1S we bought at this location new. We rotated our tires regularly and drive in all purpose mode gently like normal people. We had no issues of tire wear until the last 500 miles or so when suddenly the car began to eat the inside edge of both rear tires. Then we got a recall notice about possibly rear wheels falling off from an improper nut somewhere? So we immediately stopped driving the car and made an appointment. The service guy doesn't appear to have active listening skills at all. I explained the situation and he just kept repeating that this is a heavy vehicle and it's normal to need $2,000 of new tires and a $400 alignment every 15,000 miles or so. It weighs about the same as a ram 3500 diesel which doesn't need alignments yearly. I asked why I can put 100,000 miles on other vehicles and not need an alignment and he treated me like I was an idiot for daring to compare of complain about Rivian and my $90,000 car from them. No matter what I said he would just keep repeating himself and not seem to hear anything I actually said. We charged in and got the rental car and went in our way. A week or so later they were done with the car but didn't even fix the alignment, just the recall, and a speaker. Turns out the other headliner speakers were also bad but they didn't check them. I only noticed because I went and checked after. All in all I will probably sell the rivian now since according to the service guy they are not built properly and require more maintenance on the apparently under built undercarriage. I should probably sell my rivian stock too before they go bankrupt. Way to loose a customer.

To say I'm "extremely excited" about Rivian in Atlanta is a grave understatement. This carmaker…read morebased in Normal, Ill., is the future... some day we'll look back in 25-50 years on our continued use of combustion engines and say "WTF were we doing??!" My son and I took a test drive of Rivian's flagship SUV, the R1S, and rugrat kept saying "can we take this one home?" it's really and truly a magnificent car and a feat of engineering. my only quibble is that, my god, the vehicle is *huge* and rides like a beast. but the technology and handling are unmatched. can't wait to see what Rivian does in the future!
